Sumi Sumi is one of those rare puzzle games that feels both relaxing and heartwarming at the same time. From the moment you open it, youre greeted with rewards, events, and fun activities with Sumi Sumis. This game definitely brings a cozy, cute, and fun atmosphere that makes it easy to get lost in for hours. Pros: The gameplay is simple yet at times challenging. Its perfect for casual players but still manages to offer enough challenge and strategic thinking to keep things interesting. Each level is full of cute San-X characters and desserts, whether youre playing just a few minutes to unwind or settling in for a longer session. What makes Sumi Sumi stand out from other puzzle games is its charm and diverse gameplay. The characters are too cute, and the animations and little sound effects make us smile every time. Its the kind of game that can instantly lift your mood. Cons: That said, there are some downsides. Each level requires a clover to play, and if you dont pass a non-completed level, you dont get the used clover back. You have to clear a level to keep your clover, and you only start with 5. Once theyre gone, they regenerate about every 15 minutes. This time limit can be frustrating if youre in the mood to play longer sessions. This can make you feel pressured to complete a level the first time when progressing through harder levels and can then cause you to impulsively buy in-game items just to pass certain levels. And let us tell you, this adds up fast because unfortunately, the prices for these items are on the higher side, which makes the game feel less accessible if you dont want to pay. Youll just have to continuously wait for clovers and hope you pass the level(s) eventually. Summary: Overall, Sumi Sumi is a wonderful game, and if youre looking for a puzzle game for short or long bursts of fun, and is also cozy, relaxing yet at times challenging, Sumi Sumi is definitely worth trying. Just be aware of the gotcha system and the pricey in-app purchases if youre someone who likes to play without limits.
This game is addictive and fun but it freezes a lot, or gets stuck on loading. The main screen is also very busy and things pop up a lot. Ads always freeze after the ads play. Ive watched a few ads this week and we still have no idea what kind of rewards you can get because we have to close the app and reopen it every time.

Ive been playing this game for like 10 years and Ive gotten hours upon hours of entertainment. Theyre never very generous with rewards, their little mini event games are awesome. Youre not timed so theres no pressure to finish the game. The Sumi Sumis are so cute and we enjoy collecting and upgrading our Sumis. Thank you Sumi developers for the countless years of fun youve given us with this game.
This has been our favorite mobile game for several years. Tips: Everything in this game (even the premium currency) can be earned for free. If you choose to spend, the best value for your money is the limited time (twelve hour) $5 ruby shop that appears each time you complete an area. Participate in the weekly events and daily challenges for lots of freebies. Add in-game friends (you dont need to connect your social media) for basically unlimited lives (clovers)active players are REALLY good at sending each other the daily clover gift. This game is very friendly to newcomers. Theres a big limited time/special event gacha element, but we think every limited edition character Ive seen over the years has come back eventually.
We currently downloaded this app since months ago, and now im at level 57! This game is amazing we always play this everyday and a lot of hours! We highly recommend to play this game because it has updates, coins, rubies, tickets that you can spend it on. SumiSumi does not force you to watch ads and genuinely rewards you for playing, not just paying. We also appreciate the art style of this game; its cozy and creative. We hope the game continues to update events and features because completing these challenges and puzzles is so satisfying.
We love the bears we call the small yellow one jimbo and the big brown one Toby. We really love them and Im hoping for a future update with a hello kitty version.
Event puzzles are so hard that its impossible to make progress without paid items. Its frustrating.

This is our favorite mobile game ever! We're up to level 1233 now It does get challenging but while you're stuck on a level there's usually other events and things you can play instead until you've passed it. The characters are so adorable and fun to collect. And one of the best parts for us is that you never have to watch any ads :).

We love this game so much. Fun, eventually quite challenging, and extremely cute. You never get bombarded with ads or have to pay a cent to play. Its constantly being updated with new events that feature new levels, characters, and other helpful things. You do need clovers to play levels, but if you add some friends you literally never have to worry about running out. Its become a staple of our routine to wind down before bed. This is genuinely our favorite mobile game of all time, and its free. Much love to the devs.
Ive been playing this game for a few years now. Its super cute, and we havent needed to spend any money at all to reach the top levels (although we have a few times to show support for the developers), this is not the case for most games! They have special events weekly and scheduled maintenance times. They take care of the game and Ive never had any issues the entire time playing. Overall its simply the best mobile game we have found and the cuteness makes us so happy.
The game is fun and all but the special events with event sumis are impossible to finish. We used to play for hours daily but since we get so frustrated Ive stopped. Even when you complete the flags you still need to collect tens of thousands of the event sumis to count for ONE event progress point. Buying gems is a rip off. Its just not as fun once you progress past the first 200 levels.
We refuse to use the boosts because it is hard to get. We will not be tempted to spend money on this game. We do not participate in the events because our little sumi will need to be on steroids and coke in order to get a good score. We play the regular levels on repeat until we get a flag. Sometimes we will be blessed with good sumi, but most of the time it is random. We wait a few days to accumulate clovers from our friends. We love this game but also hate it. When we finally get that flag its like we busted a big warm load (of happiness).

We were loving the game but Im not willing to spend money on a time waster game. Props to the developers for basically forcing people to pay for it to continue playing. Get your bag we guess.
Ok THIS GAME IS TOTALLY AWESOME!!! These characters are adorable plus the theme is so cute we have never seen a cuter app. If you like cute things we definitely recommend this game. But as cute as it gets we still have a problem. Every time we finish a stage it exits us out and we have to start all over again. So we just downloaded this game and it is absolutely the cutest game ever! We are a fan of Sumikko Gurashi and we love how they use them. We also love how the coins have the boba faces on them! The tutorial is pretty long, but at least we can learn how to play the game. And it's cool that each character has their own unique power and every character is so cute. At the beginning, they show this adorable show and we just had to show this to our mom how much we really love this game. We would give this game 5 stars because: 1. Cute 2. Fun 3. Awesome. Sumi Sumi has some of the best characters that cant be found in other apps. The gameplay is easy to learn and can ramp up very quickly, like during special in-game events. The animations and sound effects are very satisfying. There are features that let you help and compete against friends at your own pace. Overall our favorite puzzle game.
Ive been playing SumiSumi for almost 3 years now, and we still feel like we dont know how to use all of the features that are included. Mostly, Im confused on our SumiSumi Buddys, from how to level them up to how to employ them in puzzles best. Does anyone have any advice?? Would love clearer instructions in game on this feature. Ive been playing this game for over 2 years. Ive beaten every level at least once, but we still manage to have fun with constant new events and score challenges. We love all the characters, so that makes it even more fun.
This game is super cute and we love the concept of it. We used to play this game everyday but havent cause the levels get extremely hard fast. Im currently at stage 271 and been trying to beat it for about 4 weeks now, but it really seems impossible. Since we been stuck at 271 we just replay old stages and when they have extra stages available.
So cute fun really need to use yr brain to solve and plan unlike many others.
Currently at level 115, and am really enjoying this game to pass the time. You match characters together to string combos; the more you match the more points you get! Each stage requires a certain amount of points to count as completed, and the further you go, typically, the more points are required. We read a review of someone getting stuck on a level, and we think its because they never leveled up their character, which can be done using coins (you get them for free after completing a level). Its tempting to spend money on more colorful characters but im quite happy using the standard Tapioca characters that can be acquired with coins. Im sticking with this game as its fun for our partner and we to play and you can tease each other by boasting your scores~ btw the tutorial is long so brace yourself.

Its a great game but the only thing is the clovers. You have a maximum number of clovers but if you use them all, you cant play anymore. You can trade diamonds for clovers but its so expensive. And if ur buying gems its also really expensive. It costed $99.99 to buy 1,674 gems. We get its a lot but still. And the Sumi Sumis and stuff are really expensive. 1 for 35 gems like really? We think they should make things less expensive. Other then that its super fun! You can play with friends by exchanging codes. Youll see your code when u go to the friends icon thing at the bottom of your screen. Some levels are also rlly challenging and if u dont wanna waste your clovers you can exchange 10 gems which is a lot. You only get 5 seconds left to beat it which seems like a ripoff since it is 10 GEMS! The mission is to make 18 matches of Sumi Sumis. Sumi Sumis are the little cute animals that are in the levels. If youre just starting Ill tell you how to play! Or you can just read the cloud guys instructions. Anyway you have to play levels and match 18 sets of Sumi Sumis. You use 1 clover to play a level. If u loose you can exchange 10 gems or waste another clover. It will use a clover for the level. If u win it will give back the clovers but if you loose, you loose your clover and have to use another one which is dumb but yeah. You can get different Sumi Sumis by using 6,000 coins or 35 gems for 1 Sumi Sumi each. Expensive but thats the way it goes. For more information when you start the game, read the cloud guys talking. He talks A LOT and it might be boring but its helpful on what to do. We know we didnt really tell you how to play but it explains when you first start. If you skipped the talking like we did, you can look at a tutorial or look it up. Thats all we can think of to do. Anyways that was our review overall good game! Really fun! And we suggest playing.

Dropped this game due to ads popping up out of nowhere, even while just on the world page with all the levels while youre doing absolutely nothing. Was a fun challenge but the forced ads are really a deterrent.
Ive been addicted in playing this game! Its so cute and so addicting at the same time, collecting pets and playing levels. We love how there are small events in the game too :D But just recently we have reached in the 4th Area. The levels were getting ridiculously hard and it would take us sometimes half an hour to complete! If the developers can relieve the difficulty on these levels that would be great <333 But overall this game is amazing and we recommend many people to play this awesome game.

Its a really fun game, some easy lvls Some hard ones. Some not hard but challenging. We love the little garden shed that comes with our power up sumis. Really extremely cute characters! We like how they switch up the characters each time if you fail a lvl. We hate that they take away a clover for each time you play a lvl, YOU ONLY GET 5 clovers (life). They use a clover even if you pass a lvl and move on to the next lvl, on most if not 99% of lvl games, you get to keep your life you are currently using unless you fail the lvl. They dont give free items to use or watch a video for a random item, or daily prizes (only for coins or gardening items), only item you get from watching a video is x3 moves when you play a lvl. At the end of a lvl, if you run out of moves, it doesnt have a once in a while/hourly or daily watch a ad for extra moves to finish the lvl. Each area comes with their own list of missions to complete which can be confusing, lvls on each area doesnt match the mission amount meaning you have to play certain lvls a few more times after completing to accomplish the missions to get your prize.

This is the best game in the whole world if you find this app you have to get it the characters are so cute the aesthetic is just adorable and the idea of this game is amazing we cant believe we had not got this app sooner it is literally the best can not think of a bigger word than amazing and fabulous but if there were this game would be that word.
