What Makes World War 1914 Stand Out
World War I or the First World War, often abbreviated as WWI or WW1, began on 28 July 1914 and ended on 11 November 1918. Referred to by contemporaries as the "Great War", its belligerents included much of Europe, the Russian Empire, the United States, and the Ottoman Empire, with fighting also expanding into the Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia. One of the deadliest conflicts in history, an estimated 9 million people were killed in combat, while over 5 million civilians died from military occupation, bombardment, hunger, and disease.
Peace and conflict studies is an academic field which identifies and analyses violent and nonviolent behaviours, as well as the structural mechanisms attending violent and non-violent social conflicts. This is to better understand the processes leading to a more desirable human condition. One variation, Peace studies (irenology), is an interdisciplinary effort aiming at the prevention, de-escalation, and solution of conflicts. This contrasts with war studies (polemology), directed at the efficient attainment of victory in conflicts. Disciplines involved may include political science, geography, economics, psychology, sociology, international relations, history, anthropology, religious studies, and gender studies, as well as a variety of other disciplines.
Pacifism may be based on moral principles (a deontological view) or pragmatism (a consequentialist view). Principled pacifism holds that all forms of violent behavior are inappropriate responses to conflict, and are morally wrong. Pragmatic pacifism holds that the costs of war and inter-personal violence are so substantial that better ways of resolving disputes must be found.

This our favorite iPhone game of all time but it needs updates especially for the mode with friends the historical mode with friends is kinda broken the ai dont actually do historical things and dont attack and if they do attack they barely do and its because provoked basically make it the same as the normal historical with ai movements and Id be so happy.
Why does it free a country we have conquered when a event happens can you get rid of that other than that great game man.
Its a amazing game but the you cant make air craft carriers for some reason.
Please update the game and add a sandbox version where you can choose the amount of money you have and you can edit pretty much everything. Also please add more past like 1950.
We love this game but please we want more updates. For example extending the time period until the 1960s would be good.
Its a great game but Id like to know how to upgrade our troops weapons ik you have to research it but when we try to it always goes to the max upgrade and we dont know how to get our troops rifles wont upgrade it stays at gewehr 98 rifle and wont go too the kar.98 Im kinda confused.
Suppose they probably got most of the dates and events right, but the ai is just stupid dummy bruh, like chat, how could you do this to us? You have embarrassed humanity by this ai bro, its so embarrassing that you make the rocks in California smart. Bro, and the fact its almost impossible to make money in this game- makes the rocks even smarter. Rip developers at this point, the British ai usually says hey, you think Ill get some extra tea and crumpets if we declare war on the Soviet Union in 1920? Then the rest of Europe joins in and its a mess. And dont even get us started on the idea of logistics or whatever you called it, 3 words, get a job, it is way too annoying chat, and then the darn ai have infinite range. Well other than that good game well yeah pretty much. HOHOHOHO.
The game is simple yet complex to a certain extent. Our only complaint is that the game does not adjust correctly to our screen and we cannot see some text. IPhone 16.
As many others have said it seriously needs an all around update love this game tho.
Its really good game about it and if we very good and we try to help that against Germany, its so annoying about how you have a certain radius of where you can move your troops in the cities thing in the supply line, stupid, and the most stupidest thing of them all troops cant move on the water. Why not to do something more better like if you want to place a troop on water it changes into a transport boat and then once you put it on land, it becomes troops again otherwise 4 stars.
35 The French Republic unified the world in 1935, but we hope that Germany and France will not surrender indiscriminately. After finally annex the ussr, an event will turn us into a Soviet occupied area, and France will also become Vichy France after annex Germany.
Love this game. Played different countries many times. If the AI of the countries was tweaked just a bit to make more realistic factions and allowing countries to garrison inside allied territory was added that would be great. Also maybe just a bit more added to the production maybe with resources or something. Great game. Only 4 stars because there is definitely room for improvement and we want more updates.
We cant ever do non historical on our phone so can you please fix that.
Also when we finish off Bulgaria and the and we vent hapens involving them it gives them alexandripolis.
There are some problems. City supply range means invading Russia is completely impossible. Also it seems the ai doesnt abide by the city supply rule. When a city is taken over by the ai 500000 men garrison force spawns out of no where. As Germany we join the entente and invaded Austria and they capitulated. Then Austria respawned out of nowhere in 1917. Also world event randomly steal have of our territory and troops. Like when we had control of the entirety of Turkey and Ataturk just spawned in out of nowhere and took our entire holdings there. Im editing this now Im Playing as Greece now an we took out the Turks and am fighting the Soviets and they spawned 2 million men in erzom trabzon and Van each and now are steamrolling us with 2 million meanwhile Germany and France invade the soviets unaposed it feels like there is some player bias or the Soviets ARE REALLY OVERPOWERED. No hate just think the game can get better. It has potential. Another edit Maybe a non historical mode would be nice.
The game is great. We appreciate it but there are somethings that are wrong with it such as: Why is Ireland still British after ww1? Also why cant you release all nations that existed during the war. Overall thats is what needs to be fixed.
Its a pretty cool game, but as a mobile player. The little ad that pops up on the top of the screen, make it hard to play sense it covers some of the UIs and cant see what Im tapping on.
This game use to be really good remove the troop limits please or add an option.
Its a good game and its fun to play but you make pretty much no money and it takes ages to research anything because its billions of dollars to do so but you only make 100k max per turn.
Pretty easy to get the jist of things, but a feature we find utterly stupid is when you finally make the money to make a military advancement the price of things IMMEDIATELY go up exponentially.
It makes no sense when we try to attack a city and we lose more troops than they do even if they have the same tech. If they attack our city with more troops we still lose more troops than they do. Pls fix this problem because idk if it is a bug or put into the game. Once you fix it (and maybe the money but idk) then it will be perfect.
Ai will have no troops but if you attack them then you will get 100K troops coming for you. We also cant move troops more than one travel move away? For example, tried sending troops from Spain to Italy but cant move more that far.
This game is pretty cool despite multiple mechanic bugs. But there is one problem that makes the game nearly unplayable. There are event pop-ups that make a certain nation join a certain faction. The problem is the event will happen even if that nation has been conquered. It does this by liberating that nation completely. We played a game as Brazil for hours and took the entirety of South America. Then, nearing WW2, events popped up for almost every South American nation saying that they had joined the League of Nations Faction. We lost control of almost every single nation we had conquered. This mechanic ruins everything you work for as almost every nation.
Great game just we think it needs to be played with wifi not cellular data.
We cant play the game every time we try it crashes.
We love games like HOI, Age of Empires, & Conflict WW2 so we thought this looked right up our alley we have absolutely NO CLUE how to do ANYTHING all we see is a map, some cities & then vague options. We dont know how to command/use/adjust/upgrade/build our armies or even how to see them. The game doesnt even have many options, so a 3 minute tutorial wouldve saved it probably for us& the fact that options are so limited it should be fairly easy to figure out by trial & error but we cant figure out a thing.
It needs new modes and more attack units like helicopters and maybe different types of tanks or ships maybe add nukes too and it could be cool if there was a modern world with present-day countries.

We absolutely love this game because for a while we were looking for war games but not the online war games we were looking for something we could control and this game is absolutely awesome but we do think that when a new nation is formed and you conquer said nation you should be able to go to restore region the new nation or the old one and that you should add the Korean War.
Love the game would be better if anyone could join the axis side.

We like this game and we want an update that allows you to play as Countries that come much later like Belarus, Moldova, Austria, Hungary, Etc. So please update the game. Also we would like the music to return. Add another update. Thanks for the update but can yall add the ability to play as countries that come in later.
We wish u could add more of the story mode like the Cold War or somthing.
Love the game , honestly would be even better if they added a sandbox mode , (where you can actually pick a country , have unlimited money , maxed out military equipment) itll be your choice , and if you could skip the time to where you want to be ,.
This game is unlike many others. It not only focuses on the military side of things, but it also focuses on diplomacy, and economics. This makes us feel like Im in a little more control of our country. A suggestion we have for the game is to make it a little easier to get other nations to join your alliance you create. And to make something like the news or an associated press this would make it so much cooler to see whats going on in the world. Other than that though, we love this game and Id recommend it to any real military enthusiast.
We love the idea and we love the game in general, BUT our only request is if its possible to add more cities in Mexico, specifically between Guadalajara and Hermosillo, could be Culiacn and maybe more down south of Guadalajara like Morelia…Mexico only starts with less than a dozen cities and those missing cities are key to being able to defend ourselves from a random US invasion.

We love this game, but wow it feels super slow. Especially during the 20s and 30s. That fact that you can bring back a colony/country is great, but we feel like we should be able to puppet it or change the boarders so we dont lose all that progress. We love going in and playing Germany, but never have we been able to beat France or Britain, and if we try to beat them they always have more strength than us. Im sure youve heard this a thousand times but the AI are just too powerful. The furthest Ive gotten was 1922 because we could bring back the German Empire but it just made us lose. We do play this game regularly since we got it but theres some problems and we know you have other games to work on.
Please get rid of the 20% troop retirement, its really difficult to get an adequate amount of troops if you lose 20% of them in 10 turns. Its a ludicrous amount, 5% is much better Or you can just make it an option instead.
Can you please fix the turn glitches and no name countrys.
This game has some issues when it comes to the moving troops. The game is fun and eventually theres a time when you took over so much but theres that gap of enjoyment. Its the best way we can put it. The game has a middle point that is just very bland. No world events happen and its you crushing smaller countrys, and you wanna get off. Other than that its very fun. For beginners its somewhat complicating so tutorials are a very good option.
Ive got 50k soldiers on a ship in the Atlantic just chilling while a war is happening because we cant figure out how to unload them.
Its good but there needs to be more gameplay settings(if at all possible) and there needs to be a better tutorial.
