Galaxy Reborn: Second Empire is a Strategy game from Munkeez, LLC, first launched in 4th January 2018.
It’s rated 4+ and currently has 72+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes Galaxy Reborn: Second Empire Stand Out

Your goal is to build an empire consisting of multiple planets. To do this you will need to procure three vital resources: metal, crystal, and deuterium. Initially, you will mine your home planet for these, using them to build up your infrastructure, research new technologies, and build spacecraft.

This game offers a variety of play styles. Miners produce their own resources by building mines on their planets and colonies. Farmers search for resources left unprotected on other player's planets, launching raids to take those resources for themselves. Fleeters specialize in hunting other players space fleets, destroying them in epic space battles and recycling the debris left floating in space. Most players combine multiple elements in their personal playstyle.

As a new player, you have a degree of protection from larger players called Noob Protection. During this period, you can attack and be attacked only by other new players of similar rank. As your points increase, you become fair game to more powerful players (and can attack them as well).

Don't be afraid to ask for help. The player community is one of the best things about this game. Experienced players will often share advise and offer you some startup resources. You can communicate with individual players in-game or on Discord server which you can find from the game's website.

This Strategy game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:

Great game. Has tons of stragety best thing is that its massive multiplayer with community you can chat with. Make alliences and wage wars. Good admins. And community has came a long way too make this game what it is today. Give it a try. You wont regret it. This is text base game works well while on the run easy too pick up the phone and build something quick or set an attack.

Hi so this game, turns out, is accessible with voiceover. Not sure if you meant it like that, but as a blind gamer, we're glad it is. Also it's very intriguing to make a space empire. Now, if you could add notifications, specifically to see when a building or a research are done upgrading, and when your ships arrive at their destination would help make the game more playable. Also, not sure if this is an accessibility issue, but we can't seem to switch between screens when we tap on either buildings, research, or shipdefense and fleet screens. We can switch between those, but not to the map, which could be useful if you wanna colonize after upgrading some stuff. Again, we doubt accessibility was in mind, but since it is, could you please make it so that you could switch from the original building/research/fleet/defense screens and add the map tab, as well as the different planets you already have? That would be very helpful, and over all a great game.

So get this be us, im eating a cheese burger at 7:46 pm out of no where we start shating in our pants (later we found out someone put smashed laxatives in our burger). But we found this cool game called Galaxy Reborn: Second Empire, been playin it all day everyday non stop even after our wife left us and took the kids and such!! Im so excited to be apart of it.

We want to try the game but wont let us register our email.

So this game we have played off and on for over a decade, it is frustrating at times, it can be addicting to the point you lose sleep, but the reward of accomplishing what you set out to do in the game is why we give it a 5 star. You build an empire the way you want to and can choose the strategy that best fits your play style. You want to dominate the hall of fame with devastating attacks? You can build a fleet of the right composition to do just that. You want to ours resources in hopes to achieve the top player based on resources spent alone, you can do that as well. You want to build a shell so large that even the top fleeters will leave you be to play as you please, you can also do that. Give this game time, and realize that this is a war game, you will get attacked, you will lose resources, but its how you bounce back and recover is what really matters.

This is a great game. Mainly because it doesnt adhere to the pay to play/win. You can spend a little money but it doesnt set you so far apart from others that it makes the game lame. This game involves strategy and really hunting players down. You also have to decide how to use the resources that you have. 5 stars.

We started Galactic Empires, now Galaxy Reborn early on from the days of 2007 thru the decades but now the visuals equal the intense strategy of old. You may get crashed! But now you can actually see it coming. 2020 the year the Galaxy is REBORN! (these are solely the opinion of Avenger, we cant speak for you).

A player remake of an old Ogame clone. The best one out there for iPhone! Suggest having this app come up when searching for Ogame in the App Store. Really odd that it doesnt. This game is all about strategy. A rare find in this day and age.

One of the last few good mobile competitive games that isnt pay2win.

This game is one of the best we have ever played. It is a mobile port of ogame, and is a strategy game. In this game you need to build mines to produce resources, and later build ships to steal other players resources or defenses to protect your own. This game has a great community full of new and veteran players of all skill levels. This game features multiple play styles and it can be player more causally, if you stock up on defense, or more competitively, if you build a huge fleet. Best of all this game is free and isnt a pay to win, in fact money does very little for you. This will be a game you wont want to put down.

If you loved the game originally known as Galactic Empires, then this game is for you! Faithfully reproduced version of the original open source classic, but without the bugs! Major code improvements provide superior performance, yet it remains faithful to the original. Other O-Game clones rely on clunky eye candy and Pay to Win to retain players; THIS GAME IS DIFFERENT. The interface is simple and easy to use, even one-handed on a phone screen. It offers addictive, real-time strategy against other players as you build your empire by trading, exploring new worlds, and waging war, without requiring you to pay one cent. The available paid features do not provide anyone an unfair advantage over non-paying players. While there is a learning curve for new players, there is also an excellent online community that is more than happy to help you learn and grow. One of the things that killed the original version was poor developer and we administrator support. Again, this game is different. It was developed entirely by former players of Galactic Empires, not for profit but purely for the love of the game. The sole mission of the support staff is to assist players and help the gaming community grow. They have a public chat server on the Discord chat platform that is open to anyone interested in the game, and players-only chats for support and player interaction. This game appeals to players of all ages. Multiple game universes offer varying development speeds, suitable for casual or avid players.

While this game is enjoyable it has a few flaws which make it less so. The first issue is moons, they give players who have them a massive advantage. The advantage they provide is so great that they take all the guesswork out of playing and subsequently reduce competition to number crunching with battle simulators and timers. Oh and only the lucky players get moons, some players attempt dozens of moonshots wasting millions of resources with nothing to show for it. Maybe make a moon guaranteed after the 10th attempt? The second issue is the meager new player protection afforded to new players just starting the game. After newbies surpass a certain point threshold theyre open season for old players who have the experience and the resources to easily take them out. Further notes: -The competition for the coveted 8 slot is ridiculous. Maybe randomize planet fields in different slots to maximize the value of each system? -Maybe add another way to obtain resources other than farming other players or tedious mining? Previous iterations of the game had black holes and alien hostiles that could be encountered to obtain resources. These features made the game more interesting and allowed for more varied playing styles. -Include a better fleetsaving tool. Everyone has obligations in life and cant tend to their empire all hours of the day, every day of the week. Its stressful and annoying to have to worry about someone destroying months worth of work while you are busy and cant send your fleet off again to keep it from being destroyed. -Improve in-game messaging. Show sent messages and include a block feature. All of that said, the main reason we wont be playing this game long term is because it requires way too much time to remain competitive.

Anyone starting is facing a limited protection mode that is effective for very new accounts. After a few days, players with several months of resources and advances have free play to attack. Ship speeds and limited galaxy size make it impossible to hide fleets for any time, except those players that were in at the beginning so they have had time to accumulate moons and other advantages not available to new start ups. Add in the inevitable trolls that stalk competitive games with chat features and it all gets pretty mucked up. The original browser game this is based on (OGame) has a mobile display version and they regularly start new universes so start ups stand a chance to have decent game play. We played the first version of Galaxy Reborn (galactic empires) as a top 25 player until the trolls became too much. The same personality and no improvements to game play make this an unpleasant waste of time.

Cant even get it up and going half the time and now we have to create a new account and it wont even do that. Huge headache and waste of time and energy.

A player in game is threatening to destroy our planets 24/7 because we dont want to be in his alliance.

Only a couple bugs still exist, nothing major and the App runs much smoother than the original so, most bugs are fixed. It is a basic Word Based space game. Build resources (mines), research Tech, build Planetary Defense, Co-Op attacks, trade, join an alliance and DOMINATE, ours, Farm, attack for resources or just hang out. This game has it all. Money can be used but its not required and requires SKILL not money to dominate. Last game you will ever download! Get it, play it, and enjoy! Ive played this game non stop since the original launch, well, 2 months after the launch and have played it ever since. We were VERY upset when this game was Overhauled and this version was shelved. We heard it was released again and was ecstatic! Been playing it ever since and probably will play it as long as it is hosted! Thank you to the guys and Gals that rebooted this. Sincerely Smack.

So great to see this game restored! This reboot looks to have corrected the issues of the original while improving upon it. Awesome resource management and space warfare game. Money can get you perks, not the #1 spot. The community in this game is amazing and part of what kept us playing the original for over five years. Bring your friends, create an alliance or join an existing one and see who can rule the galaxy.

This is the ultimate strategy and resource management game. Starting with one planet and limited resources you build the empire and develop the play-style that fits you best. Experienced players will help newcomers and your alliance will become friends across the world.

Have evil opportunists taken your game and used it to line their pockets with play to win tactics? This is what happens when the geeks reclaim it, stabilize the code, correct the spelling, restore artistic discretion & send the ubiquitous bimbo lures packing. Demands chronographic math skills & that you accept it is not meant to model our universes physics.

This game is so good that we have Dj Vu.

A game that time and skill is your friend not money.

If fancy graphics and paying your way to the top is what you like this game isnt for you. You actually have to play and have some skill to succeed. A lot of of the player base is very helpful at getting new players started and learning the ropes.
