Ive played this game for several years. We like that it provides a good challenge, but it doesnt take forever. Im consistently impressed with the puzzle creators creative category ideas.
A fun and quick stirring of the brain.
Free Daily Puzzles stopped working march 16th, the update seemed to not have fixed it. We entered in one of the Start Here puzzles and when we came back to the Free Daily Puzzles they were working again.
Like the game a lot. Its a nice twist on mini crossword puzzles. Theyre clever and just challenging enough without being overly complicated, which keeps them interesting and fun to solve. The only drawback for us is that you have to drag the letters into place instead of tapping to place them, like you can to remove them. It can be frustrating when playing on a small screen like your phone where its easy to place letters into the wrong spot, which often times results in bumping other letters out of place. Making this an option in settings would be great. Other than that, it is a really good game.
Our husband and we love this game, competing to complete them without using hints. Four stars because there is not an avenue to earn hints rather than paying for them.
We know that for a long time there were rarely ads, but now its insane. Used to love this game.
The addition of ads (and long ads) after every little game has ruined what was one of our favorite apps.
This is a a different kind of crossword that doesnt take much time but makes us think. We highly recommend it.
Great mind teaser!!! Play it every morning while having our coffee, along with several other mind teasers. Trying to keep the mind working!!! We are in our 80s.
Perfect for a little stress break or to forget the bus ride for a few minutes.and sometimes pretty sneaky.
It would be helpful to get one clue per game to help with difficulty in understanding what direction the game is going.
Excellent puzzles on a daily basis, always gives you something to think about. Great to have these little mind testers before going to bed each night, and have several days to solve the more challenging ones.

We love this game (and Red Herring as well) and would love more chapters please!! We personally love it when we have to figure out what the theme of the puzzle is, especially when its not so obvious. They are mini crosswords after all so its nice to have a challenge within the mini game! PS Left a prior review as the last release had spelling errors etc. Once developers were notified they were corrected very quickly so wanted to thank developers & submit a better review.
Only thing we dont like is that when a puzzle stops us, Ido not get to see the answers.

Like the ones that have challenging themes or are a play on words. Wish there were more updated sets of 50. No updates in a few years and that is disappointing.
We like this app; it plays like a crossword puzzle where you choose combinations of letters to fill in the correct word from the clues given. And most of them time we dont even mind the ads, considering its a free game. However, they have started running ads for gun sales, which seems terribly inappropriate for this medium, as its available for anyone at any age. Its very disappointing considering the number of innocent people being murdered every day, and Im playing this to try to get mind off the bad news. There are plenty of other companies that will pay to run ads on your app.
Fun, but way too hard. Seems designed to make you need hintswhich of course you have to pay for.
We used to love this carefree game when there were unlimited clues. You took all the fun away and made this almost impossible.
This game does not work at all with voiceover like seven little words does. If you can fix this, we might be able to enjoy this game, and give a better review.
A cup of coffee and the mini puzzle every morning.
Game is kind of a combination of crossword and Jumble, usually 3 to 4 words, but theres a clever theme to each puzzle, sometimes not apparent until AFTER you solve the puzzle. Solutions are usually fairly easy so makes for a short relaxing activity, though sometimes a hint is needed. And yeah when you run out of those hints you have to purchase more, but its inexpensive and worth it for this fun game. Kind of addicting. Recommended.

You need to give some free hints. Maybe have them earned by the number of puzzles done correctly. If there were some hints, like there used to be, we would have rated it 5 stars.

Ive been doing these for years; even bought a season pass. Hint: its all in interpreting the title correctly. We really like it.
Love these! The categories are often surprising. Sometimes it clicks in at the end.
We had to restore our iPad and lost our hint stash. They never responded to us. We had about 300 hints on our other iPad and they just disappeared. They want you to buy hints, but they apparently have no accounting system to keep track and fix issues. Why would we buy something that could disappear and we lose the money we spent on it.

Okay, we have been playing this game for several years now and because the daily theme might be too obscure we would resort to the free hints, which we had many. But when the designers removed the free hints we figured we would be playing the game less. Instead, we now look forward to it each day to challenge our mind as to what the heck the cryptic means, then figure out what the words are. This often means we need to resort to other sites to get clues (we've long since have used up our free clues), but that just adds to the challenge. Makes us realize we're more of a sleuth than we thought.
Love giving our brain a little jolt every morning.
