„Nominated for Best Mobile Game at German Developer Award 2018"

Immerse yourself in the challenging world of QB – A Cube's Tale, a labyrinth puzzle game featuring innovative gameplay that will put your strategic thinking to the test.

FREEMIUN
The first 20 levels of QB – a cube's tale are now free to play. If you enjoy the game feel free to buy the full version and puzzle throw 80+ tricky levels.

In QB – a cube's tale, you roll through a total of 80 levels to reach each of the final black cubes. Over the course of the game, new cubes are introduced, each with their own mechanic, which make your journey more difficult. The trick of these colored cubes is: It depends on which direction you enter them. For example, one destroys the field in which you are moving. And before you know it, the goal is unattainable and the level starts again.

But do not worry, you can play each level as many times as you like. For example, to find the perfect way, because then up to 3 stars are waiting for you as a reward. With the collected stars new levels are unlocked. So you can skip a level if you have been particularly successful in another. If you have collected at least 190 stars, it gets tricky:

Because then you can enter the "Challenge Mode", where you have to solve a number of levels with just a single attempt. Here, your skills in 4 stages with 4 levels of difficulty will be put to the test.

Of course, your progress will be saved in the iCloud so you can continue playing on all your devices.

Features:
• Labyrinth puzzle in isometric 3D
• innovative, direction-dependent gameplay
• more than 10 colored cubes with individual mechanics
• 80 levels that can be unlocked via collected stars
• Challenge Mode
• iCloud synchronization

Community Insight:

We played this game after beating its sequel, which was graphically far superior, but this one still holds up beautifully and is equally as enjoyable and satisfying. 10/10 recommend to everyone. We do have one remark that we hope the developer sees, and in he meantime others can take this as a warning: After fully beating the game, all stars and all challenge levels, we went to the settings and deleted our progress so that we could do it all again (the game is that enjoyable). We once again beat the core game with all stars, and unlocked the challenge levels – but the challenge levels no longer work. When we attempt to start them, it briefly shows the by Stephen Gobel screen and then returns to the challenge start screen. It appears deleting your progress causes a glitch that prevents the challenge levels from working. We hope the developer sees this and fixes the problem, but in the meantime, anyone who wants to replay the game should simply do so without resetting their progress.

Played the free games, bought the game as we enjoyed it and now it wont progress past level 30 – played that several times and even deleted it and reinstalled but it stops at #30. The next window shows level 63 and up with no #31 to #62. Thanks. Great game! But would like to keep going.

We really enjoyed this game – very much worth the price to unlock the full game. Desperate for more levels.

This is an elegant puzzle game that doesn't get the attention it deserves. We're always looking for great puzzle games. Maybe it's just us, but we were totally unaware of this award winning puzzle game until we eventually dug deep and long enough to come across it years after its release. It got some attention and respect in Germany but it's been under the radar in the US. It's the perfect type of puzzle game for mobile devices. The levels can get fairly challenging, but in a way that makes them rewarding to beat. Check it out.

We like the game and purchased the full game. Now it will not let us access the game we paid for or reinstall. We asked the developer about the issue but they didnt bother to respond.

Edge was such a fun game! One of the first from many years ago. This, obviously, reminiscent of that. Only if the cube disappeared into a puff of smoke after the level was conquered!!? What a great shout out to Mobi?? This is very fun nonetheless. Worth it. Well done.

If enjoy puzzles you will enjoy this game. There are 80 levels that will keep you thinking.

Its great for our anxiety ands its the first time we ever played a game like this. Just wish there was an undo button. And can someone please give us a hint for level 78 before we delete? Been stuck for weeks.

Please include an undo button. We are much more likely to continue with the game if we dont have to start all over again. Otherwise a lot of fun.

This game should be a lot more fun than it turns out to be. Quite tedious and not enjoyable. Wanted to like it more, sorry, cant explain why its not meeting expectations.

Love this game. We challenge ourselves to one a day, always going back to get 3 stars every time. Im on #50 now. Our ONLY request is a last move undo. Mistakes can be frustrating.

We like this game but Im stuck on level 10. Every time we win it shows us we won but freezes and wont continue (play button inactive) but we can reset and go to all levels. Halp, we wanna keep playing. Ps we tried deleting and downloading the app again but no luck.

Excellent game. Unfortunately it can no longer get past the Made with Unity screen. Ipad Air 2, IOS 13.6.1. Edit: Reinstalling the game did fix the issue indeed. Rating updated to 5/5. Thank you for a wonderful game.

We absolutely love this game. It's very relaxing.

Very good puzzle game. Some of the more difficult levels that come later in the game take 50 or more moves. Its frustrating to be on the 49th move and double tap or go in a slightly wrong direction by accident. An undo last move option, esp for the devilishly difficult levels, would be a nice feature.

This game gave us days of innocent pleasure, and perhaps honed our powers of memory and logical reasoning. It is just frustrating enough. Some levels were really tough for us, but we got through the, all. We may work through it again, trying to find the best possible routes and earn the three stars that come easily at first and only with difficulty later on. Really, an excellent diversion.

Such an entertaining game. We beat the whole thing in 2 days because we couldnt put it down. Its very similar to chess but with a new block-based landscape with its own rules.

This is a clean, polished, sneakily-fiendish little game with tons of levels. No fat here. Just great puzzles. It ramps up the challenge in very a subtle way with each additional mechanic, but its always a clever combination of complications and intuitive minimalism. Pure and almost perfect.

This game seems to be the bad result of what happens when you dont program something natively. We are very disappointed in the reviewers who said there was no lag and the gameplay was smooth. This couldnt be further from reality. We challenge someone to compare how unresponsive the cube movement is in the game as opposed to the absolutely buttery fluidity of something like Monument Valley. We are constantly having to swipe in the same direction multiple times to move one space in this game and we are running this on the absolute top of the line (at the time of writing this review in April 2018) iPhone X! We would love to play Lee of this game but instead of being fun and relaxing, it is frustrating.

Challenging enough to be fun but not frustrating. The graphics are clean, the mechanics work well. A game of logic not fast reflexes, for some reason we kept thinking of Monument Valley.

Love this game so much. Im already on level 49 because we cant put it down. Each puzzle is satisfying to solve and overall the game just feels great. Snappy, no lag, no nonsense. The only thing we miss is an undo button and the ability to see move count even after you get three stars.
