Community Insight:

The pawn promotion is broken. When a pawn reaches the last row it keeps standing there. It makes the last level unplayable. Even when we managed to win it with this constraint, nothing happened. The game froze. Very underwhelming and inexcusable for +$15 price tag. The idea and the design are nice but the game overall feels unpolished and clunky.

Works exactly like the PC version we had for our kids. Perfect for children starting to learn how to play chess. One problem remains: WHEN IS FRITZ AND CHESSTER 2 being released?!? Our son is done and wants more.

This seems like a good iPad version of the old game we used to teach our kids to play chess with and we were excited to see it available, unfortunately it doesnt seem to be well maintained. We cant get off level 1 as the Chessometer seems to hangFritz asks What does it say, can we join the intermediates and then nothing happens, you cant click anything or get back from this screen. Shame about that.

We cannot hear anything from the app on our iPhone X. We would like a refund.
