Maginary is the unique fiction novel where your are one of the main characters. It connects our real world with the world of your imagination through the iPhone.
Michael Sterry — the previous reader of this book — woke up in a strange, far distant land called Anzo. The only thing he's got is the medallion which somehow broadcasts everything into your imagination. You will need to use your brains, your hands and even your legs to help Michael survive in Anzo and get him back into our real world…
This unique immersive experience will allow you to get lost in your imagination with the help of:

This game had us hooked in the first chapter and Im downloading the rest of it now we almost never play for mobile games but this one is different its tons better than a lot of others Ive played definitely recommend if you like reading and adventure 10/10.

Its just the best game ever. We cant tell if its a book or a game. You get so invested in the characters you feel theyre real. The only other game that made us feel that was undertail. So yes Im saying this game is on par with undertail.

This book is so interactive and interesting! It made us actually feel sad for Michael when he left! This is such an amazing book and if anyone reads this book, HAVE HEADPHONES IN its so much better like that, the only thing we wish is that it would be longer, we finished the book in two days and we just WISH it could be longer. But next to that it was GREAT. Five out of five stars all the way.

This is really great. We bought the full version and let us tell you- it was WORTH IT. It took us maybe 2 days to read it all. We loved the part of the story where you had to run 1,000 steps to save them. That was really cool! Please add more stories, we cant wait.
Literally we were captivated from the first page and couldnt resist the urge to not let the main character down! Im already an avid reader but this makes reading a story that much more entertaining. Bravo.
We dont normally write reviews but we felt this game earned one since we just finished reading the book. It was a truly fun experience with creative puzzles to challenge the mind and amazing characters and sounds. If we had one complaint we would say it was to short. It was easily worth the price it gave and we would have happily paid double for the quality experience we got. This is hands down the most magical reading experience Ive ever had in our life. We are still reeling from the conclusion. We loved every minute of this and it was well worth the money we spent on it. Absolutely incredible.
This is very fun. Though we dont agree with the price of it, thats not what Im here for. This game is honestly more entertaining than we thought. Having to constantly move around and imagine is hard for us, but this book helps. Im a senior in high school so we dont really need our imagination for much. In all honesty, this is a stress reliever. Our little sisters even enjoyed it with us. Its like a family game. That honestly never gets old. Our pets tend to stare at us which honestly is makes us laugh along with the story sometimes. If your looking for something fun and interactive we suggest this. It doesnt cause us to feel overwhelmed or overstimulated . We dont feel under-stimulated either. For people who have Special Needs, or ADHD or ADD. We recommend it, as you tend to be captivated in the What happens next? How do we solve this ? Is there another ending?. As anticipation is what keeps us playing because we tend to forget that its just a game but it feels real. We love it. We honestly want more games like these.
Best $4.99 Ive spent in a while. Absolutely worth it. We love story-based games and this game takes it to a whole new level with its interactive features. Its also just really beautifully animated and the music is phenomenal! We loved the opportunity to tap into our imagination through this game – we dont get to do it enough as adults. This is likely the most unique app Ive ever used. Sort of like a digital The Neverending Story. Highly recommend.
This game is super interesting. Ive never played anything like it. Very novel idea with some cool interactions. It also has the most clever advertising ploy of all time.
Heads up, this game can be downloaded on the iPad, but if you buy the full version you will get to a point where youll need to walk a certain amount of steps. The iPad does not track steps (as far as we know), so we ended up re-downloading onto our phone and rereading up until that point. So, if you decide to buy the full version, its best to start the adventure on your phone! Overall this game was a lot of fun. We loved how immersive the world was with the sounds and changing texts. Im glad we finished it till the end, it was about 2.5 hours of reading.
At the time of starting this it has been amazing , the game has mechanics that we havent seen before , such as using different apps in your phone to guide Michael alongside yourself. It is something we have been enjoying and is much worth the price of 5 dollars, would love to see more stories made like this.
As our first time reading this type of interactive book we must say we enjoyed it. We feel the price was high for a first time but we guess there must be costs involved in this type of book. We do recommend reading it in longer spells if possible.

We wish the game/book was longer and more interactive. Despite our obvious greed, Maginary was intriguing, different and a lot of fun. We absolutely look forward to more like this from the developers.

Beautifully done! We will certainly look forward to any more experiences these geniuses have to offer! We would like to give just one single piece of feedback that we think would make this book a little better. We think it would be a little more immersive if near the end when they start talking about dates and specifically when they mention the year when the events are taking place, you guys could access the reader's calendar or something like that so that the year they mention reflects the real year when the reader is reading. For example: They mention that the story is taking place in 2020 and we're actually reading in 2021. It's really not a big deal at all! We just thought it would make this masterpiece just a little better :).
This reminds us of the visual novels we used to play on our laptop except more immersive. Why do people think everything has to be free because its in an app? If you go to the bookstore you have to pay. And the game cartridge store. This is easily worth the 5 dollars! Right now Im stuck on the safe combination because Im not hearing whatever Im meant to listen for. But we will get it! As a side effect, this got us outdoors and we met 2 neighbors while trying to help Michael get to the next page. Please tell us there will be more books like this.
This is the first interactive story telling App we have come across so far. Its especially critical for older App users like ourselves who truly RELY on interaction to sustain a sense of engagement with the story. We would especially love to see a presentation of fictional characters where the personalities involved experience arcs of development during their narrative journeying. For example, a suggestion would be a story in which the reader, as Hero/Heroine, must make choices at various junctures on the time line, thus leading the protagonist along one path of reality as opposed to one which is parallel and contrasting. We really hope and pray that more of this genre of App is in the making.
That was an amazing experience it was very immersive. Maginary just makes you want to keep reading and figure out what the heck is going on. We loved it we cant wait for more stories like these. All the characters were very well described and really made it easy for you to imagine them and what they are actually going through. It is definitely worth paying for.

This interactive story had you thinking outside of reality into the imaginary. Bringing the reader into their world made this a truly unique experience.
Definitely one of our favorite books to read we loved how interactive it was and there was things only you could do in the real world to move forward in the book and we think thats incredible definitely look forward to whatever else you guys come up with thank you for such a great time.

We're only on chapter 4 but we NEED MORE! We're blown away by the creativity and interactiveness that this game provides! The imagery is stunning, well thought out, and so wholly intriguing that we find ourselves getting frustrated that we have to turn it off to go do adult things Seriously, it's THAT good that we just want to play till the end with zero interruptions, but alas, kids and life. Crazy good price for hours of reading and puzzle solving! Please tell us there will be more like this in the future.

Now this. THIS WAS EPIC. Im sad that we cannot buy the full version yet. But hey we got something to look towards for when we can. The coding is impressive and the puzzles we saw where Genius but we do got to wonder how does it all work? We hope this goes far. Cause we CANT WAIT TO SEE WHAT COMES NEXT.

This app is absolutely mind blowing.It brings reading to life and is truly one-of-a-kind! Ive been ADDICTED to it for the past couple of days and havent been able to put it down! To say Im VERY satisfied with this app, would be an understatement! Seriously, if you like to read and you like worlds of magic and wonder and the concept of reading coming to life, so-to-speak, then you have got to download this absolutely mind blowing app. Its amazing! For some people, the fact that you have to pay the initial $4.99, to experience the full story and gameplay, would be a dealbreaker but that is a very fair price for the awesome content you receive imo! Also, the app developers are also human beings and cant just put effort into something for free… They need to eat too! Lol & it wouldnt be the amazing piece of art it is, if it was completely free so download the app, pay the reasonable price for the full experience and enjoy! & we can guarantee that if you like to read, you will definitely enjoy. This is truly one of the best apps Ive ever come across and Im so happy to have it on our phone.

Its so much fun! Its like those puzzle games but actually good! We like reading and this interactive story just takes the cake! So much adventure and twists, we are very happy we stumbled upon this.
Everything about this is magnificent. As an avid reader that has been reading for years, we have developed quite the imagination and this app really gave us some feels. We wasnt even mad when we had to pay for the full app because they told us in a fun way. We were sad to leave, and we really was attached to all the characters. We didnt want to see Michael go, but Ill always remember the interesting things about him. Our family thought we were strange running around the house, but it was all worth it. This experience is going to live in our head for a long time to come, and we will share Maginary with as many people as we can. Best app ever.
