Community Insight:
We really love playing picross games. The story about the fox and the deer is so touching, and we love the challenge.
We love the game sm. We played it again after years and we finally got to the ending, it was so bittersweet though just when they finally reunited again.
We have played a lot of different monogram games, but we particularly like this one because the music and sound effects are really relaxing and soothing to our mind. We may be incorrect, but we believe the soundtrack is done by the artist Fearless Motivation Instrumentals which we have listened to many many times. We avoid paying money for games but we did pay the 2.99 to remove ads on this one because the ads popping up really broke our relaxation. We dont mind paying if it is a reasonable price, which this one is, we appreciate the work of the game creators on this one.
The music is amazing, so relaxing. We could spend hours just playing this game. This game doesnt feel like a puzzle where we have to use our brain. The puzzle combined with the amazing story telling from two sides, truly the developer is a genius for creating this game. We love it.
We love this app. Our only complaint is on the 30×30 puzzles, it is very hard to see the row and column numbers because they are so small, and when you zoom in on the grid, the numbers don't get bigger to fit the zoomed in view. Otherwise, this is one of our favorite apps.
Really enjoyable and challenging at times. Just curious how to unlock the finale. We completed all other levels. Any suggestions.
Started playing this before bed to help relax. Ads arent too bad but after awhile we bucked up and paid the 2.99 to remove ads . Only suggestion is that you add hints.
We played this when we had the idea to survive. When we cleared this game around a decade ago or more. We didn't relate to the story but around the beginning of last week, For some reason or anything we downloaded this again and we cleared it again for reading the story. We might be getting apart from the real world or anything that we need to deal with, yet surely enough we could stay in the story this time all around. If love was anything comparable or something that could be substituted it wouldn't be something that again touched our soul this hard. Thank you and we think this is the ultimate monogram game for anyone who needs some healing or an occasion that needs to start life over again from scratch. We noticed that to see the ending we also have to clear any stage again but it is a decent safeguard to help us stay ready for it.
Ive played this game multiple times now and we really enjoy the story and love the art. The difficulty goes up as you go which is nice.
Best functionality of all the nonogram games we've tried. We've solved all the puzzles twice now and just reset each time and start over.
So we just recently completely finished the game. Im so sad Im done but we have also been playing it for about 3 years, Id only play it when we were extra bored or on a long road time, etc. The aesthetic and growth of the game is so nice to see and Ive never had a single complaint about the game. There are ads that pop up but its not to an annoying amount. We love the co-joinment of the wolf and deer and the storytelling as well. All in all, Im sad to see the game end but we throughly enjoyed our time with it. 10/10 experience.
We play this most often while waiting such as in doctor office waiting room. It is our go to game when we are unsure how long we will be able to play as it auto saves where we are at. Nice story line and cute images. Wish it allowed a neutral backup option or ability to transfer between android and iOS as we had to start over when we replaced our android with an iPhone.
Did all the 15×15 and 20×20. We want to unlock the next levels without doing the 10x10s. They just dont do it for us. Too simple and boring to commit to.
We enjoy this game although we wish it was more challenging with less of the smaller grids, and more of the larger grid sizes. The ads are beyond annoying. Most of them are at least 30 seconds long and they pop open download windows. You can close the app, reopen it and start a new puzzle faster than it takes to get through an ad.
Is there anyway of getting a light color background. It is especially difficult when it is this dark, to even see the box outlines As for the game looks interesting and easy yet a little challenge to play, if only one could see the background with the squares marked.
Whats the point of paying to turn ads off if we still get ads? Not worth the game. We lost $3, sure, but in reality it was taken under false pretenses of we will not have ads if we pay $3 and we still see ads.
We love this game so much! It is cool seeing both sides of the story. We love the music and even learned to play it on the piano. It was kinda hard with the 30×30 at the end but was worth it to see the finale. The ending was truly beautiful and almost made us cry. We would like more games like this. For those who cant get the finale, its easy: just go to animal selection and click finale at the top and you get the three puzzles right there. We recommend it the ending is worth seeing.
This game works for us on a lot of levels. Im obsessed with nanogram games and Ive done every puzzle in a lot of them. But few games have the ease of controls and mechanics as well as aesthetic beauty and challenging puzzles as the eyes series and out of those this is by far our favorite. We use the grid controls when doing larger puzzles and they move very smoothly. You can also have auto check and map color on outside of lives mode which is very nice because in other games we feel like Im missing out on part of the experience by turning off the lives mode and seeking the challenge. There arent even that many ads and every ad is short and skippable unless its one of the ones that give you extra lives. Also we havent played a single story based nanogram game with a 30×30 and this game has three grids worth of them. This game is fun and you should try it. Its perfect for beginners and experts and the story is very sweet.
We dont really write reviews but this game was too good not to! Ive been playing for a few months and just finished the story version today and it was awesome! The story levels are challenging enough to keep us playing but not enough to discourage us. This is definitely worth downloading and at least trying out.
The game is so addicting, the music is so calm, and it has a cute little story.
We thoroughly love this game and its variety.
This was the very first nonogram we ever did, we were very interested in the story and was playing until we finished. We loved the characters, story, and art, but sometimes we do wish there were more stories other than this one. We also love how there is the story mode and a non-story mode where you can finish pictures not related to the story.
Great game, great backgrounds and colors on cards etc, but all of the puzzles are brown, black, grey, tan etc. Drab and boring and harder to discern between colors and backgrounds. Bet you could change this with a tweak or two. Thanks.
This is a great game. We are really enjoying it. Simply stunning pictures. Unfortunately, we think the creators need to do some research. Female deer dont have antlers. If you wanted a deer with antlers, you should have made him the male. Lost 2 stars for just being dumb and ruining your beautiful pictures with stupidity.
This was fun to start with, but with the first large 15×15 puzzle, neither the row numbers nor the column numbers are correct! So impossible to finish. PLEASE CORRECT! Oops! What appears to be 1 2 is actually 12. Makes sense now.
We have finished both the deer and the Wolf and we are locked out of everything else am we doing something wrong please help.
The story feeling is beautiful and the game is challenging in such a wonderful way, its truly addictive.
So, uh, apparently if in restrictions, you turn off advertising, the game self-combusts. Let us explain. So we have an overbearing mother, and until recently she had advertising in settings set to Dont allow. She also turned off the App Store (she does this all the time). A few weeks ago, she turned the App Store (as well as advertising, among other things) back on, so we thought You know what? May as well try this game again. It worked. Anything we complained about in our older review is no longer present if ads are allowed in restrictions. Games good. We like it. Previous review: This game looks really cute! Our only issues are that it heats up our phone waaaay too much, is a massive battery drain (even when its plugged in) and will often cut out when Im playing. We have an iPhone 11, and a new one at that, so we dont think we should have these problems, but we do. Ill consider downloading it again if these are fixed.
A wonderful game!! Im almost done with it and its taken us a very long time to play! Im struggling with the finale chapter as the grid is now 30×30 and near impossible to fill without zooming, but Ill persevere to see how the story ends.
It took us like 2 years to finish this puzzle game. Its the best nonogram game Ive played. Very pretty.
This was very interesting in that its similar to sudoku but different in that you need addition. Once you get a strategy going, you can advance levels. Tip: put in guaranteed tiles first. For example: if there are 10 tiles in a row and 3×5 squares in that row, what are the tiles that absolutely will appear? The middle 5. Conversely, you can cross out where the tile cannot be. For example, if you match the last number in the row, that means who can cross out all the spaces after that. Itll help you place the intersecting column tiles.
Ive been playing this game for a while now, and its really good! Okay, if youre thinking about downloading, read this entire review. There are two storylines you can follow about this really gorgeous love story between a deer and wolf and it can be really sweet to finish a puzzle and read the next story. The Nonograms arent too hard but there are different levels, and if you want something more colorful you can quit the story and instead do small little colored puzzles. Its super fun and as we said, a great time passer. It can be really relaxing and its not one of those games you feel pressured to keep on doing, just the right amount of pressing addiction, we would say . We would definitely suggest this game if you like: relaxing time passers, Nonogram puzzles, colored puzzles, following a story line, and gorgeous myths.
This game is great. We dont have any complaints except the fact that the puzzles are really big. 36 puzzles for one piece of the story? Other then that, this game is beautiful. The music is calming, and usually we dont like to play puzzle games, but we MUST find out the story. We love the game, it even encouraged us to check out your other games! Continue to make games (or dont, you already have enough great ones). In conclusion, this is a great game.
Got this game back in 2016 and just now beat it but dang was it thoroughly enjoyable all these years.
Im new to nonograms and have download every one we could find. This was our first and remains our favorite. Playing on a phone, an undo option is a must. Many times we reset the puzzle rather than trying to figure out what we accidentally clicked. This is especially true for the 20×20 games.
One of the best nanograms Ive played. Really enjoy it, and enjoy the story line. However, apparently the creators of this are unaware that female deer dont have antlers. Only males, the bucks do. So it sort of ruins the story line with a feminist deer with antlers. Its kind of stupid. But good game anyway.
We love the game. But please give an option for a lighter background color. We are 70 years old and the dark color is hard to work with. Thank you.
So far this game is gorgeous and relaxing. We paid the $2.99 to support the game and remove ads, but there are still ads everywhere. The only thing that changed was we now cant click the remove ads button anymore. Im pretty sure this is just a glitch and not intentional.
We just finished the game and we just thought the ending was missing something but other then that it was fun.
We really love the puzzles, but we had to take off a star because the ads block the story. When you're buying the game you're buying the complete story more so than just the convenience of not having to sit through ads.
We love puzzle games, and anybody else who loves puzzle games probably knows theres two kinds of puzzle games: the relaxing kind and the thinking kind. For some people, these are one and the same, but for us they are separate. What good about this app is that it has both. Because this app doesnt account for the different colors the way most of this style of puzzle games often do, many of the smallest puzzle size (10×10) are super simple to solve. Think half of the board is instantly filled in from the get go. These are our relaxing puzzles. Theyre super simple and we can do them without too much thinking and we can literally fall asleep doing them. But the problem is that going up to the next puzzle size to get to our thinking puzzles is difficult on the phone. This wont be an issue for people with good eyes, big phones, or who dont mind not having the whole puzzle or most of it on the screen at once. You can zoom in! Im just not used to that and we dont foresee ourselves getting used to it as it hasnt happened yet. So we do have to break out our iPad to play the bigger sizes and we recognize that thats partially because of our own preferences, but we also know Im not going to be the only one with these preferences and Im definitely not the only one with bad eyes. Also, it doesnt rotate. So we cant even use the stand on our iPad case. Again, not a fault directly of this app, just another complication that we still think worth mentioning because Im not going to be the only one with the issue. In the end, totally worth it. We spent the $3 to get rid of the adds because this is a beautiful app and the puzzles are great. There are issues but most of them are more like complications and almost none of them are actually the fault of the app.
Whenever we play the game, it always starts us back from the beginning. We never get the chance to see the actual story, since it doesnt save on the first place. Its a really good nonogram game, but you dont even get to access most of the content.
We love the puzzles, but it locks up after everyone. The screen turns black and we have to force close and restart. We hope this bug can be fixed because we want to keep playing it.
Do not purchase! Off by one errors throughout. Column and row clues do not match figure.
Interesting need more story form picross like this , best way to do them , beautiful.
We think this is the best logic type puzzle game out there. It is so well thought out. It has a beautiful story line. Good puzzles at every stage and pleasing music. We do it many nights before bed. Worth keeping it on your phone or tablet. Please let us know how to clear all puzzles so we can redo it easily.
We enjoyed this game greatly and the story line was very nice! Hope to do more picross games from this developer! Ill play all of them! Keep up the good work.
Puzzles are not too easy or too hard and the tiles and art are beautiful.
We played this game 100% through, we completed everything. There were minimal ads, the story was sweet (a little hard to follow sometimes but oh well) but it is evident that this game was created with love, as a result we loved it too.
We absolutely love this game but even tho we completed both halves of the story, the final puzzles dont unlock.
