We wanted a short iPhone RPG, and this was perfect. Loved the classic story, sprites, sounds and music. The balance was great for a game this length. Seemed a little easy at first, then was engaging as it went on. We almost died at the bosses. Highly recommend! Ill definitely be checking out all of the other RPGs that this company has made.

There was a lot of foreshadowing that something bad would happen, and once we saw it we felt pain, even if it is just a game. This includes good gameplay for all ages and the story is very good, and the star system is spectacular. We hope more incredible games like this are released soon.

Thank you devs. One suggestion. The hero was a bit overpowered. We prefer it this way. We dont like long, difficult boss fights but many people like a challenge. If you update the game (or in your next game) considering offering the player a choice of difficulty levels.
For an f2p game its well created. The balance of the ads to generate revenue was done well; game executed this without shoving ads through your gullet. The artwork and the battle mechanics were retro and brought back nostalgia. Our original rating would be a four star due to the length but just because of the pacing and the placements of the ads Im compelled to hand over five stars. Well done.

This game was so awesome! It only took us two days to complete, but it was definitely worth it! The battles were well-designed and the monsters were exciting to beat! Cant wait to play the next one.

We normally dont write reviews but for this one we wanted to. For a free game this is a great game. It is simple and short (yes it is a very short game we finished it in about a hour or so) but the story it tell is amazing. If you are looking for a great simple and free game, we would highly recommend this one.
We love this game. We played it on our old phone awhile back and decided to do it again. Just wish second play through was a little harder.
Keep it up. There are so few games that you can just sit down and play without waiting for something to replenish or complete. Even FF has gone that route. Good story, and the characters skills complimented the party. Was a little odd at first that only one character would take a turn, but it totally makes sense now. Look forward to more games from this group.

It is a good rpg the final boss is pretty tough but overall the game is really easy. It had a decent plot but sometimes there would just be too many enemy encounters. We like that theres no reason to spend any money. But there is one big flaw to this game. Its music. We usually just turned sound off completely to avoid the same track playing over and over again.
This game is incredible to play story line and plot is amazing the ending is is just play the game it is really fun to play and the pixels feel like old times.

This game is a lot deeper than we first realized…. On the surface it is simple enough for a child to play, and potentially win…. But it is so subtly philosophical that a zen master have to meditate in order grasp the end game … Frqnkly this is a beautiful game from start to final notes.

This was a short but amazing game, we could go on for hours about this. If you are still contesting on getting this game, get it. The only thing we dont like (its more of a nitpick) as heavily as story was involved, they didnt go to far into the world and the people in it. Otherwise its one of the best games Ive played and we were glad to have found it.

The game was an excellent throwback to classic rpgs. Combat was simple and fun. New weapons and armor were frequent. An absolute joy to play which takes about 2-2.5 hours to complete if you max level. This game is a must play.
TRY THIS GAME AND YOU WONT REGRET IT we honestly dont write reviews unless its something want others to experience also. This truest was a remarkable game with a nice storyline and fun adventures. We finished the game in a day and honestly it was the best part of our day. We suggest being at least level 65 to defeat the Serpent and understand the usage of the skills for each character. We really look forward to future games from developers. This really had a touching ending and a easy flow of gaming.
Really a fantastic, but succinct little game. Only a few hours worth of play maybe, but well done mechanically, great visual style, and a touching story (maybe Im just sentimental though). Definitely recommend all the same.

This was such a wonderful game, but it was very short, with a bittersweet ending. The story was slightly confusing to us, but the game was enjoyable while it lasted. We just wish there was another ending.
The first Kemco RPG that Ive actually finished, either due to length, crashes or ads making it unplayable. Got to wondering if Id turned on an easy mode switch accidentally, and we did more grinding than necessary. Its exactly as advertised (easy and short), and even tries to have some philosophical meaning. Wish more games made the minimap, quest tracking and screen shots this easy, just not as intrusive on the screen.
This game is more about the story than anything else. Although it does require a small amount of strategizing, it wont matter much what kind of items you find since the game is so short. We personally enjoyed the story for its theme that most stories dont usually have which is about understanding the esoteric meaning behind being a Warrior of Compassion… This game was definitely food for our soul so we are very grateful for the creators.

Brings us back to the amazing rpgs of the 90s. Very well designed with great controls. Allows about 2-3 hours of game play. Storyline was ok. The options and control in battle were excellent. Will definitely be looking for more from this maker.
The story of the archlion king is one that is well thought out, and shows different sides of human emotions. Though at times it can be heartbreaking such is the way of life.

The graphics are amazing for iPhone/IPad and the amount of effort made into this little gem is amazing. We suggest rpg fans to play this game and enjoy it the full way through.
This game is awesome it has all the stuff we need to be able to even play this thing.
Fun retro styled RPG! Graphics wise it reminds us of Lufia on SNES with very simplified gameplay similar to Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. Awesome nostalgia! Kemco is definitely taking a step in the right direction! We are excited to see the next pocket sized RPG in the series.
Just finished beating it. It auto-saves often enough so you can play on the go, story is excellent, adventure is on point (reminds us of Pokmon), and even the 8-bit soundtrack is as good as The Legend of Zelda. Well done, Archlion Saga. Thanks for the great short story and good times.
