It a cult game invest and get sucked in.
We have enjoyed the game so much so far. You dont even need to spend money to a certain point. You can definitely have fun without having to spend a dime. The only reason we dont give this a 5 star is because there just seems to be so many QOL things they could add that they just havent seemed to add over the years. 1 being the game can feel very slow battle wise. But nonetheless its still fun! :).
Great game but they rerun this anime so much yet they cant update the art on the event tabs? Sup with that.

Used to be big on Brave Frontier, so Grand Summoners has really made us feel nostalgic in that sense. Very time-consuming, theres a lot of different aspects that you have to get used to. Overall we enjoy it, lots of story, collectibles, and new events.
Ive been playing this game for years and have spent countless hours grinding this game but we have just quit after this last update. The level of greed that has been put into this game is crazy. We love the game but they have probably recently spent more time trying to figure how to squeeze more money out of this game than introducing better or new gameplay.
Game was good back in the day when it first dropped collabs, now its turned into a heavily pay to win gimmick having only guaranteed 5 stars on PAID summons only. ($20 is average cost of one summon) absolutely needs a rework on summon with the cesspool of 5+ year old units still circulating on every summon IF you manage to pull one that is. Rates are abysmal. Youll have to save gems for an entire year to guarantee yourself one unit of your choice. They dont listen to their fans. Sad to see it crumble to greedy devs.
We love it though its Japanese version gets a lot more attention its still amazing.
You can for grind so and get so little in return. Just on the dandadan crossover we summoned over 20 times and didnt get Okarun, Momo, Aira, or Gigi. Summon rates are the worst of any gacha Ive ever played. Kinda have to be a whale to enjoy.
Grand summoners is a really enjoyable and fun game to kill time, and it has great art and constantly updates. We do have a couple questions/suggestions, though. We think it would be much better to give out more crystals to players, as that method would gather more players and F2P would be more manageable. Second, and the biggest problem by far, lolis. Why are they even in the game? Im seeing little kid looking characters in bikinis and its genuinely disgusting. We cant exactly just ask to stop that, but it would be amazing if you made the art more normal. And lastly, we have a question. During a battle we randomly tapped the screen and accidentally made the entire game sped up by a lot, and its very annoying. How can we change the games speed back to normal? Overall, though, a great fun game that has a few bad things, in our opinion. Thanks for reading.
No front, Ive been playing the game for a few years now with multiple accounts.. And we have to say Ive spent a few bills but this game is truly better than others and has amazing crossovers. A fun F2Gamble as you will be catching yourself not getting majority of the characters and equips unless you spend actual TIME grinding. (this where the P2W kicks in) Endgame is a struggle for new players as you need the meta during certain situations and boss fights. They do provide a unique auto play system thats allows the user to totally customize how the characters use their abilities and equips as well. All in all itll treat you well if you treat the game well.. No different from a loving partner lol.
Game is okay but needs more f2p friendly options.
Honestly this game is pretty cool but the whole gacha system and the fact that you need 1500 crystals just to get one character that you want guaranteed makes this game a true joy killer especially if your a new player and needs more good characters the requirements for you to actually succeed is for you to pay and not only that most of the stuff you pay for isnt even worth the price and its so annoying that the game has these crazy requirements just for u to get stuff that dont even guarantee any good units so as the title says this game is pay to succeed and we see from the other reviews Im not the only one who thinks this so please at least make some changes.
This game is , in our opinion, a good game, but we have three major issues with it. First Im tired of always having to redownload files after closing the game for awhile and then having to redownload the files again, it takes so long we sometimes give up and just dont open the game again. Second the banners are terrible because you keep single character you ever released in each banner and when you do a 5 – star summon you get an old character that doesnt fit in the meta or cant do any good support or dps in the game. Third this game has been out 5+ years and you dont offer guaranteed 5 star every summon, its crazy doing a summon and dont get any 5- star character.
After the game Summoner War (Similar Game Mechanic) ended, we were devastated. Upon searching for a game similar to SW after 5 years since it shut down, we stumbled across Grand Summoner. We have to say this game is nicely made and makes you work for your victories. The strategy that goes behind this game is out of this world and we enjoy how the game provides new content ever so often, to keep the game fresh and exciting as ever. Hope this review helps in making you decide on playing this masterpiece of a mobile game.

We love the game but we have a problem with the fact that after a while getting crystals is either a huge grind or you just cant get enough to summon characters u want, we personally agree with other reviews saying that free to play isnt very optimal and is seriously difficult. If there were to be more ways to get crystals without having to pay for it then we think more players would enjoy it.
This game is fun but also there is not enough content to do to earn gems after the main story. Getting the units you want also requires 30 unit shards that cant be shared across other characters that they come out with later. It should be reduced to maybe 10 or 15 so people can get the units they want and not have to spend so much money especially for free to play players.
Ive been playing for a couple of days now and we still cant understand on why we cant add certain characters manually to our team at all. But we can add them by using the autofill option. We tried evolving the characters but we still cant add them to our team at all. Not sure if its a bug on our end. Please help.
We saved up 700 crystals for the DanDaDan event we GOT NOTHING BUT THROW AWAY CHARACTERS. 0.20% CHANCE!???? We HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF HITTING THE LOTTERY! Fix your pull rates. Asides from that its an okay game.
Games pretty fun. Easy to use. Gotten a lot of characters without paying. Just takes patience to earn crystals but it is doable. Would recommend. Especially for the crossovers.

The game has a good gameplay loop, if youre into RPGs,Team composition and building up characters give it a try.
We have been playing this game for a few years now and love it but it has a few issues. The main issue we face is the inability to get crystals to summon with unless its new content or crossover missions. Once you have completed the main story and side quests you are out of options to get free crystals unless through crossover missions or new content that rarely comes. Even with the crossover missions you only get enough for 2, 11 pulls which is very poor odds to get the banner unit(s) that you want. The only other issue especially as a new player is the complex battle mechanics and the inability to make a decent team until you have 1 of 8-12 specific units.
Been playing for years, very fun, sadly some content is very hard to do solo if you dont have certain units.
Do not play. Developers are thieves.

Every time we go to check our units the game crashes and we have to rest it then it works. And every time we get on the game we have to update it and we get on every day. Games fun but has to many bugs.
Awesome game might be frustrating to get gems but very fun game.

We remember like 10+ years ish ago we played this game called Brave Frontier or something like that. And we swear its almost exactly like this game. We used to play that game for hours on end everyday. Even got our entire family into it. So glad we found this game.

Loving this game so far, and the only issue that we really have is overwritten by the fun multiplayer. We may have lost our old account, but Im already on par with it, and we just started.
The game has tons of content to play. Most of the game modes are beginner friendly but some of them are pretty tough even for veterans of the game. Theres tons of playable characters to choose from to build your teams and conquer the world of grand summoners.
Love the game but its staring too get tiring too have 600 gems go down the drain.

Please do a dragon ball crossover and please make it easier to get gems or dont make them so expensive.
Ill try to keep this short and simple. Its the most fun gacha ive ever played, and has some amazing crossovers. Its constantly getting huge updates that change gameplay in major ways. Its fun for both casual and serious players, and its easy to start. The problem? Its a free game, and devs need money. Its INSANELY pay to win, and some stages straight up require specific units that newer players and even some experienced are guaranteed to not have. Its easy to get into, hard to stop playing, and frustrating to try to get the best units. We love it and hate it at the same time.
Love the one punch man crossover.
We started a year ago and havent stop playing since. Beat game ever. Makes us want to grind every day.
