The basic rules of Crazy Eights are simple and quick to learn. (You'll find instructions and explanations in the app as well)
Very EASY and so much FUN!
- Play against four AI players (total of five players on the table);
- Each player is dealt 6 cards;
- The remaining cards are placed face down on the gaming table. This is the "stockpile";
- One card is revealed face-up and game play begins;
- Shed your cards, matching the rank or suit of the revealed card;
- If you CANNOT discard a card during your turn, then draw a card from the stockpile.
YOUR GOAL IN CRAZY EIGHTS:
- Get rid of your cards as quickly as possible by matching the rank or suit with the top card on the discard pile. The player who gives away all their cards first, WINS.
- When a player plays an EIGHT (8) the current Wish card, he or she must decide the suit for the next turn. Next players should follow the named suit or play an Eight (8).
WHAT ABOUT THE SCORE?
Score points are summed up at the end of the game. The application automatically calculates the final score based on the remaining cards in your opponent's hands.
Cards are worth as follows:
- Crazy Eight (8) = 50 points
- Face Cards (J, Q, K) = 10 points
- All Other Cards (2-10) = points equal to face value
- Jokers have no value (shh, don't tell them)
In Settings you can adjust the rules to your custom style

We loved this game then we wasnt playing for a little while then we started playing again and adds started popping up all the time and it is starting to get really annoying .we want to be able to play real people not robots.
Love Crazy 8, but this game is really no fun. How can we typically only get 2 suits and never ever draw the missing suits? It makes playing NO FUN.
If you dont like to win, this is the game for you.
The game isnt loading correctly and when it does it cheats and gives other players cards you have or if you close out and come back it starts the game in a different direction. NOW theres a new glitch where you have to restart the hands several times before everyone gets their cards! We like this game but Im tired of constantly having to fight with it to play a full game so please let us know when you get it fixed and Ill come back.

We like the game bur they interrupted our game 6 times to ask for a good review.
After rating the game, it constantly interrupts the game with the rate us pop up window. So annoying. We would give it a half a star if we could.

Thank you for keeping this crazy eights game free. We play during our work breaks and is helpful for us to relax. Im glad to see the randomness issue is fixed, it was a pain to see player 3 get most of the 8s. Good game, please keep updating. :).
Love the game, but need smarter players. Players need to take a card, rather than play a Joker to someone that only has one card left.
Game has bug that causes you to have a card you cannot discard. Please fix. Otherwise great game.

Ive played this game a lot. Ive won too many times on the easy mode & lost too many times on the hard. The problem with this game is that it cheats. Harder doesnt increase the skill needed to win, it just means you wont win, period. Easy doesnt mean it takes less skill to win, it just means the computer will ensure you win. For example, if you are playing in the Hard mode & have one card left to win, the computer will have the player before you throw down a Jack to skip you, or a 9 to reverse direction or will plop down a 2 to increase your card count. If one of your opponents has 1 card remaining, the computer will stupidly put a Joker down to make sure that your opponent can place down ANY card for the win. You will spend hours playing at the mercy of when the computer allows you to win. It isnt random, it will produce cards to ensure you lose. There is no happy medium.
Its a fun game, but never works properly. Right now you cant get a full deal unless you hit continue constantly. Another issue is that the same robot player always has 3-4 eights every hand. Unrealistic and as much as we would enjoy, too many deals to play a hand lost us.
We emailed the developer and got no response. There is a serious bug that spoils at least one hand a game. Cards are dealt faced down, so you dont know what you have, or one of the other players picks up half the deck (it is clear that they have many cards that they couldve played), and in a more recent bug, we got two identical cards in our hand. Im off to look for a better game with a more responsive developer.
Ok so its fun but we didnt like it because we wanted to play the actual game of crazy 8s and the is no skip or draw 5 or revers cards And we just didnt enjoy it so Im giving this a 1 star.
Terrible game! Downloaded and tried to play our first game and got to a point where we needed to pick a card from the deck and it would not let us do so! Waste of our time! Tried to get help and that was a mess too.
Cards moving in weird directions. Duplicate cards. Lots of bugs.
Im really getting sick of them making the computer have all the 8s. They completely control the game and choose if they want to win or not. U dont win over luck.
We have never seen the moves the computer plays. Evidently the tutorial and help stink How can all the nicknames we put in be taken.
This is a super fun game to play. We have the difficulty set on hard and its SUPER challenging to the point where Im cursing at computer characters! Zany can die in the fiery pits of hell as far as Im concerned It is def worth the download and will keep you entertained for hours.
Although it is a very basic game it really is all you could ask for. You can even choose how the AI avatar looks. Its a fun yet simple card game any age can play.

This is a great game. Our only problem is that an keep getting a pop up message telling us we have to have an internet connection to play. We hit ok and go on with play. This sometimes happens every few minutes.

We used to love playing crazy 8s as a kid so cool to find it as an adult. We like the app, keeps good stats, seems fully competent, only knock is the gameplay is a little bumpy, graphics are super smooth but other than that, its very fun.

This is one of our favorite games now. It keeps us occupied and the color scheme is very eye catching.
We play Crazy 8s with friends all the time(w/real cards) and this game is sooo unrealistic in the outcomes. So many times Ill get within a card of winning and then find ourselves drawing 4-6 cards before getting the matching suit. And by then, the game is over! Whereas the computer players always seem to pluck 1 or 2 cards to be able to move again. We love Crazy 8s, but we find this game a bit of a frustration. At least there arent too many ads.
We like to play card games in free time, this app make it much easier. Only, maybe, you need to speed up game little bit.
