Ive played this game for years now but the newest update paywalling an already small player base is greedy. If you must make a financial change please force ads on free to play players but still allow them to play online. This isnt a good first impression and as someone whos paid in the past we will not consider giving money until this is reverted. We know you guys can do better.
Amazing game so fun should add no gi.
This game was a good concept , and we had it for over a year. However, it has always had periods of technical difficulties. Also, we were not a fan of the game mechanic rework at the start of the year , though we learned to live with it. Now, the expectation that users will pay to download a game that seems very much still in beta when the user base is huge, and there are major changes to the game regularly seems to be ill advised. We used to occasionally pay to turn off ads, but for the past couple of weeks now, we cannot even open the app anymore, as it gets stuck authenticating, possibly because do whatever update was supposed to charge us to play. Im not going to try anymore, so youve essentially lost a paying customer.
Its good but if your going to update it so we have to pay to play online than you need to fix it.
Bring the feeling of a real tournament.
Its a really interesting take on Ju Jitsu with the card game style and especially with the new update where things are no longer percent based we actually like more, especially since the power cards can give that extra advantage leads to more intense matches, kinda wish yall kept it at 12 turns though. Also Im am convinced half of the people we go against are bots as its inconspicuous timing on submission happens to be when we hit go. But we guess its cuz its a low player base as it is. You guys did great overall though and its awesome seeing how we can play our favorite techniques and especially with the allocation system adds that personal touch of how Id design our own style to the game. 10/10 imo.
Messed up the game w update. Was realistic before everyone has different trait/endu in life,perks stupid.
Unfortunately most of the time you get completely locked out of the game. After nearly winning a tournament, the game failed to register our last match forcing us to reinstall, causing us to lose all of our data. After creating an account Im now completely locked in the menu due to being unable to name our character.
Is relley good and Im doing jiu jitsu.
We FEEL LIKE YOU SHOULD MAKE A NCAA WRESTLING GAME WITH THE SINGLETS AND HEAD GEAR AND STUFF.

We think this game is good and all but we think you should make it easier to get a better belt faster, our overall rating is 4 stars.
Most of the time your locked out of the game.
The game is fine and some will like it. But its seems that its not much about skill but it has more to do with a little strategy and a lot of luck. Since its a card game and its online you have to guess what the opponent is gonna do and hope you pick the right cards to counter it. Its mostly based on luck in our opinion because you will never truly know what cards their gonna play. Great game and we didnt find any bugs. Animations are decent, and it resembles real BJJ. Its not for everyone but you should definitely try it and see if you like it.
Everything we get on the game it says Failed to verify last combat what do we do.
This game is a good game but it just needs a little improvement like, it would be cool if this game had 2v2s we know in real life its unrealistic but it would be so fun.
We have one request our iPhone quits playing music/podcasts when we open the app. We dont have any other games that do this. Id play this game a lot more if we could listen to a podcast while doing so. As far as game goes we love it.
We dont mind the idea of turn based gameplay (ala jRPG), but cards just lose us. It may as well be any card based game. They all play the same. Also, the fonts are so tiny on our iPhone 13 Pro. Our struggle is just reading the cards more than anything. Would be a lot cooler if cards were reduced to simple actions that you can chain together. Nice attempt, but not for us. Edit: thanks for the response dev, we actually started playing it on our iPad which is MUCH better since the text is so small. But Ive also grown to appreciate the game. We wish it was faster to act once you pick you card so it flowed faster and we saw the move, or didnt rather than see the card first. Overall good job.
We practice both BJJ and Muay Thai on a regular, and we were surprised on just how good this game is, haven't seen anything like it, probably won't see anything like it again. Very good job.
We downloaded the game, went through everything and got to the game loading page. We sat here for a good 15 minutes and all we had was the wheel of death in the bottom right corner. We removed the app and reinstalled it again. Still nothing. Not sure if this has something to do with the last update or not. When you get the issue fixed let us know and we will attempt to load it again.
Ive been doing BJJ for about 14 years now, we started when we were 4 and now Im 18 and in college. Finding this game was so awesome because when we go home, we can do more jiujitsu we hope this game gets more players and never shuts down. We love it too much! P.s. We would love a battle pass thatd be so awesome.
Love that a bjj game exist. While we do think the cards system and how the matches flow needs some work, it a great start. Our biggest issue is the fact that Ive loss multiple match along with ranking points due to the app crashing or freezing during match making. Get that fixed and Id gladly go back and give 5 stars as Im sure the gameplay will continue to improve.

We would just like to say, this is the most realistic martial arts game we found, and this game is good enough, Im leaving this review which is very rare. We love the belt systems and card systems where you have to calculate how you use your moves. However, some things we would personally like added is a section where you as a player can spar with AI of all belt levels (ex. 2 strips blue belt vs white belt or 1st degree black belt vs 3 stripe purple belt), just to make the game more realistic if possible while not using that method to XP farm, for example, put that feature in the quick match area (thats if it is not added). There can also be some bug fixes as well as we sometimes get booted from a match. Other than that, awesome game and keep up the good work guys. :).
Its a great game but a career mode with different promotions and titles would be amazing Ive been trying to add our friend and it dosent work we tried sending the link but we dont know how it works.
Really want to play this game but it keeps on crashing.
The game crashes on us too much im playing on a 13 pro max we wouldnt expect that to happen considering the kind of phone it is.
This game is great when its working which right now is about 1/10 sparring matches, and 1/20 training matches, the first day we played, the game worked fine. But ever since then the game crashes whether sparring or fighting either right before it starts or right after we win, creating no way to level up and move through the game. We hope they fix this crashing issue. Its not our internet or phone, it happens with everyone we know who plays it. Maybe its just an apple update that the game needs to fix. Other than that, we enjoy the game. Please fix, thanks guys.
The game keeps crashing. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the app yet it still crashes. Over and over. Otherwise the game is great. If there was a way to level up skills without having to be on certain levels it would be even better.
Looked very interesting but doesnt even load for us tried with and without wifi plus restarted our phone whats going on.

We just downloaded the game and not even five minutes in we deleted it. The game will take about a minute to load into the tutorial bout and then right away it will kick us out, Ive closed and refreshed the game but nothing seemed to work. Please fix this issue.
We have lost MULTIPLE matches due to the app crashingits really not cool. Not to mention the amount of money we have spent on the app. Kind of ridiculous.

We never thought that Brazilian jujitsu would make a good video game until we saw this one. Holding a decent belt in jujitsu ourselves, we thought that the sport that we love could never be captured in a video game because of the infinite variables in each match. While this game doesnt cover everything (because its a game), it is clearly addictive for people who fight, or non-fighters alike. Its in its beta stage currently, but Im sure its going to finish out to be an even better system. The game crashes quite a bit right now, but reloads quickly. Even with that annoyance, we still cant wait to play every match. Thank you for a well thought-out version of the lifestyle we treasure so much. Please think of some more ways for players to advance more quickly in their skills, add new avatars, and all of the other goodies we see in other games. Last thing, we love that there are no weight classes that prohibit a light player from competing against a heavy player, only changes on how natural attributes are distributed in your initial character. Great idea.
This is a fun game, but it will glitch and kick you out of the game. This results in you earning a loss even though the match was in progress. It has happened to us 7 times and caused us to add 7 losses to our record. Other than that, we enjoy playing this game.
As of now, we dont know the state of whoever is working on this game. We dont know if its a team or one man, or if you all have other jobs and this is part time. Either way youve done a really nice job making Jiu Jitsu into a fun game. Opening crates is always tedious, but we have respect that you didnt push it and the crates dont feel like intrusions. The animations are simple but interesting, we think the struggle of submissions could be portrayed a little better but its still quite good. We like the way the card game is done with the simple three base stats, its easy to understand and it works well with the cards. We love how you can play to your strengths and win even when your opponent may be stronger. The one problem we think we currently have is balancing of those three, strength seems overpowered, someone with high strength but low anything else just seems to manhandle their opponents until they win by points. Sometimes against those opponents you can get a lucky submission, but other than that its like you have no power unless you get the first takedown. Aside from that, this game is really enjoyable if not a little frustrating sometimes, and we believe that you guys or girls can make it great. We believe in yall, this game is good and we hope it only gets better. You keep working hard no matter your situation, Im sure itll pay off.
Great game , lots of potential. But, it crashes constantly. Lucky to get all the way through a match. Never finish two in a row without it just bouncing you right out. Hope its just a beta test thing.
The game occasionally freezes right when a match starts or ends. Ive found that Ive lost a lot of ranking points even from matches that Ive won. This happens with different WiFi and T-Mobile data with decent signal. Connections aside, Ive been dropped from a match when someone messaged us on WhatsApp and created a push notification. The game needs better retry logic to handle connections.
Crashes all the time during fights and we lose points because of it. The matchups dont make sense a lot of the time. Needs a lot of improvement. Pretty frustrating. Could be more customizable and upgradable at least at first.
This game is addicting when you get used to it! The grind to get new cards is a little tough and the game is in need for a few new modes and things to collect. Great game but needs a few things tweaked. Also the game has crashed a bunch of times in matches.
