Community Insight:
We liked the pixel backgrounds of adventure bar story, but this has better and deeper mechanics.
This game is so fun! Spent a lot of time making recipes and battling. Est of both worlds.
Adventure bar story but better? This game is great. We can already see its improvements, since it brought most of the systems from it almost identical but polished. But just one thing… Ingredients quantity being limited to 100 is rather tight. Especially the most basic ingredients, which are used in many other dishes and also other basic ingredients. Like rice, salt, eggs, etc. Raising the items quantity limit up to 999 would be highly appreciated.
Its pretty fun. Old school graphics, turn based, stuff to figure out. Reminds us of Zelda and RuneScape in a way.
We really enjoy this kind of game and always will support these ones. Cant get enough of them.
This is a pretty fun tavern game. Its well worth the money. The combat isnt bad and has an auto feature that we enjoy using. The characters are distinct and cooking is fun too. The only thing that would make this game better is the ability to date people.
Really enjoying this turn based tavern management RPG. Deeper than it poos, it has a cute story nd engaging gameplay. Enjoying it so far.
We love this game! We have it for iPhone and switch. Playing it for the second time after a year and its just as good as the first time. This doesnt feel like a phone game.
Gameplay great Story nice Characters likable Details sweet Pretty much everything wonderful, we highly recommend it.
This game is so comfortable. Its nice and pleasant in a way things usually arent. Its just so nice. We want more like it.
Had our eye on this game for quite some time and as soon as we saw that it was on sale we bought it. Worth every penny.
The game is genuinely amazing and fun. The characters have unique designs and personalities and the game play is nice. The skit about how important writing a review is the reason we submitted this.
We played both the original Tavern story and this next installment and Im a fan of both! Great rpg action and fun characters and battle system are a nice creative improvement- the cooking system is fun but could benefit with category distinctions to make it a bit easier to cook. But a great game overall.
This game is awesome, we actually really enjoyed the story and had a blast running the tavern and collecting ingredients. Simple but very fun, charming game! Great Job.
Ive been waiting a while to find another game like adventure bAr story and boom, this is literally its sister game. Fun series, wish there were more games like this where you manage things in the background etc.
Bought this game on android and now Im buying this again on iOS. The game plays just like Bar Story where you find ingredients to make food for your bar to earn money. Its also a turn based rpg with random encounters.
Though far from a unique or unforgettable experience, we found this game to be an fun way to pass the time. We enjoyed finding new recipes and new ingredients. The combat was fairly simplistic and the leveling system can be frustrating but these are minor nuisances. Our issue with leveling was that we often couldnt spare enough ingredients to truly blast through levels with spare dishes. Especially in the late game. All in all a fun little game though.
We have a really busy and stressful job. We would come home and play this game for 20-30 min a night for months until we beat it. Fun, calming, requires careful resource management up front then gets ridiculously easy. A realistic and hopeful message.
Its a challenging, not overly So game very worth the money. No in app purchases or ads necessary, premise is wholesome. Its very fun to try cooking new foods.
We absolutely love this game! Im hooked its so addictive.
A great sequel to Adventure Bar Story, updating most of the game in great ways. Reuses most of the enemy sprites from the first game, but there is nothing wrong with that. Tons of new recipes, tons of characters and a fun cute story.
This game is a spiritual successor to Adventure Bar Story, which we played on our 3DS. The game play is similar Despite being a mobile game, we think its vastly an improvement! The graphics are beautiful, with a 3D environment, pixel sprite characters and item icons. Ive never liked 3D mobile games, but it turns out what we actually didnt like was the was characters who were portrayed in 3D on such a small platform. The combination of 2D sprites in a 3D environment works really well! Youll like this game if you enjoy RPGs. You run a tavern, make food, collect ingredients in dungeons, and have a cast of characters that make up your party that you level up and can equip with different items. Also, you dont need to pay anything at all to progress in the game! You can buy gems, but they also drop from monster battles not infrequently. Overall we are very pleased with this game and overjoyed that we found it! Very happy to be playing an RPG game on our phone that doesnt use energy or gatchas or need to use RL money to progress.
Never write reviews because this is where lots of lil kiddies buy terrible ptw games. Im writing this review because this game is a phenomenal game with dozens of hours of story progression, solid jrpg mechanics with a necessity to do more than mash the attack button, and a lot of fun. Sorta reminds us of the old ps1 game azure dreams. Mtx is all pretty much qol stuff, not ptw. Great job devs! Happy to see Japan pushing back against the waves of Chinese junk games out there.
Great rpg highly recommended! Please make more like this.
This game is an in depth business game and a traditional rpg. We recommend this game to anyone that likes rpgs but wants something unique.
This game is a dream come true! We love Rideon games and this is a technically a sequel to the incredible Adventure Bar Story. Everything is improved and made better. Definitely worth the price. If you love cooking, collecting, and great RPGs, this one is perfect! PS: Work with Rideon on more mobile games.
It would be unfair to compare this game to stardew, but it gives you that same sense of progression-by-living instead of by combat. The game essentially revolves around the dragon quest alchemy system, except youre cooking food instead of making items. Finishing recipe hints by guessing the right ingredient leads to more recipe hints. Bosses are pretty challenging, though you can always wait and eat more food to gain levels if it seems too tough. Our top two complaints: The game has fake iPhone X support (stylized borders). The cooking interface also gets pretty crowded after you learn a lot of recipes. There are filter and lookup options, but theyre not quite as robust as Id like.
We already got bored after a few days. We wish there was more to do on the game.
Sketchy terms of service agreement, with multiple vendors being sold/using personal data. No offline play.
None of our dishes show up or put in the tavern we want our money back! Even looked at the tutorial many times we dont get it.
Every time we try to play the game quits:-(.
