Community Insight:
At the moment, this is the best Warhammer game for your phone. More of a 40K guy, so diving into the old war has been pretty dang fun. You can still have a blast without dropping too much money. Great job dev team. Now make one where you can control an Ork army.
Lots to take in but if your use to civilization games then you should be all set.
We like play into the warhammer games and this is a nice addition, tho wishing there was 40000 addition would be nice. Whether a portal to the future or something that would add that would be intriguing.
Only wish there is a Warhammer40k version.
Gotta remove that recall system, we need to be able to pick multiple targets with our armies and if we mistakenly send them we need to recall them back on our own terms. We are THE Chaos Lord they follow. Secondly we personally dont like when games like this only have one builder. Im not asking for 5-6 just an extra one or 2 would allow things to be more smooth especially when upgrades can go for days! It wastes time. If giving us more builders base kit is off the table, then Id like a slave system where we can collect slaves to force extra builds.
Ive enjoyed playing this game since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Its satisfying to find a group of players to join an alliance with and unlock all the top features. You cant succeed alone. Its a pay-to-win game that favors those who spend the most money, giving them a clear advantage. The biggest downside is that Hunted Cow Games does nothing to stop players from using botting software to cheat, even when honest players provide video and photo evidence of cheaters. The company apologizes and makes false promises to catch them, which can test your patience if you think the game is worth your spending your free time. Or simply put, this game is broken.
This game is really great. The graphics are pretty good but itll burn up a notebook if youre not careful. Its a grind when you first start out. And some of the ritual times are ridiculous. 199 days to study a unit And thats not even the longest one. Its just the one we happened to notice it. Overall Id recommend it. But if you want to compete beyond level 21 youre gonna have to invest. A lot of money and a lot more time.
We need to localize this game into Chinese.
Better than others like rise of kingdoms and all that.
Please add rotigus and when a one clean one walks and the walking trail be dark or some like death and can yall add something where the warlords can attack and we can see it like a mini army fight.
Great game. We really enjoy the cooperative gameplay mixed with competitive. Keeps you on your toes and shows the value of both mindsets. Keeps up the good work. We also would love to see the battles in animation.
Accidentally spent 15k warpstone on a random ritual because the server timed out when we used a time skip but otherwise its not too bad.
We keep learning more & more as we play. Very fun way they made this. Huge Warhammer fan on PC, and this is a cool way to play mobile.
This game is fun, but it has way too much repetition. Eventually, you get to a point where you join a higher level clan and you dont have to worry about getting raided unless youre far enough away from your clan then youre absolutely getting picked on.
Join an alliance ASAP. This will help with the time it takes to complete tasks. Nothing else needs to be said.
Its like clash of clans but way better because its warhammer.
If crusade had a osrs kind of thing.
Good community with their own discords and the like and good taking care of each other to advance in the game.
We will agree with some in that its not pay to play, and you can have a very enjoyable experience without paying, but paying gives an insane edge on everyone else, leaving it to the point some day one players can end up with 5m+ power and abuse and end up clearing swathes of servers. We wish the payoff for paying wasnt so egregious compared to ftp and thats the main complaint we have, very enjoyable mechanics and great design.
Played a couple years ago and quit, went to log back in using our Apple and instead linked a new account it made us make? Kind of a bummer considering we spent real money on it.
Overall love the game, the 2 star is for the constant minor problems that kill the game play, the constant glitching and freezing at times while not all time but enough to cost you when you dont need it to be doing those things, costing you a sht, ton of rss and if you are a person who cant afford losing 5m rss it can be alittle discouraging. Good clan mats can help but they have problems of their own too. So if you can stand or afford to take a few big hits , join up. If not dont start, we like the guys and conversations we have with our clan , they are from all over the world which is cool , they are the main reason we stick around or after the 2nd time Id had left a long time ago do to getting f by the glitching.
The gameplay is pretty decent for pve but the weekends are where the nightmare begins with pvp opening up. PvP is not viable until you get to the highest tier units which takes, without real money, more than a year of playing due to research and construction time; and that is if weekend pvp doesnt cripple you in the process and force you to resource hunt just to get back on your feet in time for the next weekend. Pve events and gameplay are fun, especially with the event and reward system, and the Warhammer theme is great. Alliances can be really nice and are a great way to help learn or develop in the game. Again, PvP ruins the game for two days a week and makes it almost unplayable on those days. Definitely pay to win.
This game use to be a lot of fun and one of the best around but now its so overloaded with toxic players its ridiculous there should be a penalty or something for someone who has 20million power to just attack a 3 million power player and constantly keep them from enjoying the game the stronger players only care about attacking players who cant fight back and theres no repercussions so it kills the game for a lot of people the number of inactive players because they keep getting picked on is staggering higher level players should get something against them if all there going to do is grief new players and kill the game for them because if this keeps up this game will die.
Awesome community, great events. We think this game is very well made it is perfect for warhammer 40k fans.
Im somehow drawn into this game and we truly hate games like this. We love Warhammer and we love Chaos.
If youre a fan of warhammer youll like the game.
Love this game Im a nerd for this franchise and for new people that dont know the lore its not for you but if you want to play and learn about the franchise well search up on YouTube warhammer total war Reggie or antikleeper to get started and then watch praximus then watch pancrease network to explain the awesomeness of what just happened.
We have been playing this game consistently for almost an entire year now so we feel comfortable speaking as both a new player who had never experienced an MMORTS before as well as now someone incredibly familiar with the mechanics of this game. Theres a lot to be said about the depths of this game. Almost every mechanic has its own section on the screen, which can seem incredibly overwhelming and daunting at the beginning. The major key in a game like this much like many other games in this genre is to find a group of players who are willing to show you the ropes and explain how to properly understand the mechanics of the game as well as succeed. We wouldnt say that this game does not contain elements of pay to win, there are certainly whales in this game who are willing to shell out hundreds of dollars to build their power as well as so much needed time boosts. However, with an understanding of the basic events and recurring activities that this game provides, you can easily be a free play player and keep your standing in the game. This is a great pick up and play game and we would highly recommend it.
This game is fun, but desperately needs balance. Higher tier units, even just 1 tier up, massively outpace lower tier units. And there no deincentive for LVL 35s to raid lower lvl bases. Instead, for player keeps, the defender should deal damage first. This would make attackers really consider who they are attacking.
The watch video and claim double does not work please fix it.
Aside from the sporadic living players that we encounter, the vast majority of bases in our high population region are dead and buried. Why did this happen? While we know Im not saying anything revolutionary, the game is one of the worst offenders regarding a prolific pay-to-win strategy that we have come across in quite some time. Unless you pay for packs that the devs were obviously high when price marking, youre stuck being a nothing amongst a bunch of kids with no self-control and/or mommys credit card. One of the absolute worst mechanics Ive ever seen in a game like this make it near-impossible to develop as a small/starting non-pay player who doesnt suckle at teats of the rest of the established pay-to-win players. If an attack is coming your way from a whale player, you can just teleport away to safety, right? Nope, you teleport and the whales march finishes as if you were still in the previous location (this pertains to your base, any tiles being farmed, basically anywhere your troops could be that they can attack, and we wont go into the ludicrous strategy for the mines and war camps). Was this an oversight or are we truly subject to one of the worst mechanics to be implemented in this sort of game on purpose? We had high hopes for this since there are few, good mobile Warhammer games that let you be anything but the garbage Imperium, and even then, youre restricted to the default good guy legions. All the promise in the world relegated to another cash grab that unfortunately Games Workshop has no input or care to adjust or guide to make interesting. We would give it 1 and a half stars if we could because while it becomes stale quickly and the mechanics are abysmal, at least we can play as chaos legions. Take this post as you will, good or bad, but remember that this could have been something interesting, engaging, but instead is as bloated and festering as anything in Grandfathers garden.
The game itself can be enjoyable but a lot of revolves around it's competitive side which is 100% extreme pay to win. Never before have we seen pay to win mechanics this bad and we play a lot of Korean/Japanese mobile titles where it's the norm. Yes, even worse than that.
We like the grinding direction and the Heros are perfectly vile.
If you like strategic games! Its good.
Great game love the fact that there is tons of ways to grow and make friends. Only thing we dont like is the fact is that we cant create a march formation on our phone but we can on our pc. When we try to make one on our phone it doesnt show all our troops.. Please fix this issue.
Thought we wouldnt enjoy it. Now we do.
Gave it a try as it was labeled as an RTS but its absolutely not. Its quite basic and honestly we found it boring. Theres no strategy about it. Tap here and upgrade and tap here gather, and tap here etc etc. Nothing about this game feels like Warhammer or RTS. Just Warhammer themed. Its generic and mindless.
No audio. Tried settings Nothing.
Seriously Im a couple days in and we have no clue when the tutorial ends. Everything is several levels up and its still telling us what to do This is not how we like to start a game. We want to make mistakes. Please let us make mistakes.
Great game, lots of fun. But our servers needed a merge for months. Weve asked and asked and they continually leave us out. Merge Ludwig 11! Quit holding us back.
Stupid system where it keeps ftp players down. If you do spend a moderate amount of money youll still be kicked down by whales as they have more tools than you. Fix your system. Not to mention there is no moderation on any server and is strictly governed by players while most whales are toxic. If youre thinking about playing dont game is toxic between the whales and the devs. Dont even get us started on the title system.
Ive been playing the game for about 6 month now and we have really enjoyed it. We decided to leave a review to give some of our ideas. Pay to win give you a way to early start to the game which is why we think the devs should make a free to play server getting rid of all micro transactions this lets all the pay to win and free to play people separate so its more even. Another server idea is if all the timers were brought down 80 percent but the server would be reset every 6 months to a year. This would provide a much quicker game for people that like that. The daily quest should get progressively better as you level up your keep like you can get up to 500 warpstone if you do all the daily quests for all level keeps but it should increase 25 warpstone Everey time you level up your keep past the level 12. The daily quests should also give you more components to craft armor or you can decrease the amount of supplies it takes to craft armor. Timers is one of the biggest issues we have with the game. Every time we look at the tier 4 units they take half a year to learn for a singular one. We think speed ups should be easier to get or the timers for the late game stuff get cut. You could also have two permanent builders and soccers and can buy an additional third one with warpstone. But overall we have had a fun time playing the game and keep up the good work.
There is an extreme lack of communication and what even seems to be testing regarding the deliverance of new content. With as much hype that was built up for this most recent event, all for it to be a reskin of the last event we got in combination with being the most utterly broken p2w event in the whole game(f2p players would unlock this gear after 30+ years). Or you can spend thousands of dollars to skip the line. The rewards are horrible, the spoils are not even updated and show as the previous undead event spoils. They dont want you to have fun playing their game, they want your money and thats it. Only reason its still here is because of the few people who put an unquantifiable amount of money into this dying game. We had some great times in this game and im sure it can be revived for a little longer. Just not under the direction of the leadership now, maybe once they kill off a few more large payers they will realize what they did.
While the game itself is fun and good its also a bit shameless in how much it wants money. Also the larger clams seem to bully the smaller ones into joining them.
When players can pay money to win fights, it leads to arms races where players fork up more and more cash to become #1. This game plays pretty heavily into your fear of missing out, too. Gameplay-wise, youre playing an idle game where you can login once every hour or 2 and progress almost as fast as someone constantly on. Not much interactivity or action. Theres a lot of lore inaccurate balances of units, and it seems like this game was designed by someone who doesnt play warhammer. Theres a few bugs present, but we wont post them here so players dont try to exploit them and make the game worse. The UI looks really nice. They have good looking artwork and models all around, but its not as high resolution as Raid. Cant blame them for that, though, since Raid is a cash cow.
We love games like these and the potential for fun is there. The down side is the pay to win aspect. If you cant spend money then dont bother with this game or games like these. We were going to buy a pack but there was an event where you get 1 point per-minute you reduced (speed up). Our server is only a week old and the #1 guy sped up 426k minutes. Well now Im not gonna spend money till we see how it goes lol. But seriously it is fun to play.
Can we get the UI adjusted around the new iPhone.
Im enjoying the game a lot we would like to see more skins for the champion though. It would be very interesting to see champions of each chaos god.
We like the game cool units, cool defenses, cool monster, and heros but Im literally stuck on the chapter quest it says attack level 2 people and even when we do it doesnt go up and now we cant continue the story.
Hey devs. Show us how strong our March is by showing us the overall stats of our troops + ritual+ buffs. For example.our overall March has 200% attack damage and 250% armorinstead of saying it has 20,000,000 power. Also add some new warlords/units or something! Just add something! Update the game! Increase the refresh rate for the armies or something! Also when someone attacks us, MAKE THE SCREEN RED OR SOMETHING! Theres no visual notification that someone is rallying you or attacking you. You get a little mail after the attack. Let us SAVE reports. Let us SHARE reports to the team or to the world chat. So many simple features other successful games have that you do not. We quit spending money on here until they decide to add some new features or something. It definitely feels like the devs have given up on the game and just letting it run to make money.
