We had been reading a book on how to play and didnt catch on at all, so we searched for a game app that hopefully had a tutorial. The rules are broken into lessons so you are only learning one concept at a time. The robot storyline is worth the groaning in exchange for such a helpful resource.

This is an incredible program divided into 57 lessons to learn the fundamentals of bridge. You can also play against robots to gain experience. We had a slight problem syncing our iPad to our iPhone, and they solved it right away. We recommend it highly.

We started with the lessons which were broken down into very manageable bites. We had played Bridge before, but many years ago. Really easy to follow and pick back up. Now, we are doing the Daily and Quick tournaments, and its really good to be able to see how you do against other people in Duplicate style. The only suggestion we would have is to be able to see how a group of friends did on the same deal.

This is a fun game to learn and enjoy! We did ok in practice and Just Play, but when we tried the tournaments we finally had to face the fact that we are a terrible bridge player. If you play well, this will give you lots of fun.

Ive been a Bridge student for quite a few years and Ive tried many apps in addition to in-person classes. Tricky Bridge will get you playing faster than any other app Ive tried. You decide for each lesson how much practice you need before moving on. We particularly like the option to replay hands. If you are an experienced but not expert Bridge player Tricky Bridge is good for reviewing. The only downside is there is no skipping ahead.
We really enjoy the play and that you can see what the bidding of the other players means. However, the robots bid a bit over the top with few points, rebidding 5 card suits and often not supporting our suit when they have 3 or 4! We have written in repeatedly, but so far never heard anything back. That is disappointing. All in all a good game.

Starts out slow and cute characters, robots, with little sound. But extremely effective in learning the complications of bridge. Starts with the VERY basics but builds fast.
Tricky Bridge is the best! Ive been trying to learn the game for years and this app has it nailed. The robots are a fun and entertaining addition to really thoughtful instruction that gives you one new thing at a time to get your head around. Really looking forward to the new lessons beyond 57, but we cant put down even the regular practice games.
