Age of Dynasties is a game set in the Middle Ages, from 476 to 1492 AD, in which you have to rule over your kingdom. Different rulers will occupy the throne in your stronghold and each will have their merits and their manias. Sometimes you'll have to make decisions while playing the role of an insane king, sometimes a wise king like the legendary King Arthur.
Year after year you'll have to play the role of decision maker to maintain the stability of the kingdom.
Will you succeed in obtaining the loyalty of the vassal states and putting down the rebellions that want to depose the rulers of your dynasty? Will you be able to prevent war and famine from decimating your subjects?

Im aware it is 9+yrs old however we would love to see more content from it. Other than that it might be confusing at first but it gets comfortable the more you play it.
Ive had this version for a while now and the updates are great! Cant wait for more updates with more content.
Decent game, a little bloated in mostly the same game mech & features, particularly the numerous kingdom factors are differentiated only in name and the gameplay loop simply comes down to trading one factor with another. Flavor and theme-wise it can give similar dynasty simulation vibes as Crusader Kings on desktop, but with much less historical accuracy as to how feudalism and the peerage systems work. The game has a lot of artwork which we like, but having to scroll through 200+ character portraits only by left and right arrow is not ideal. Also, they could improve their QA a bit, particularly with the localization. Its immersion breaking when our character receives a nickname only to see it in code: . We know developers care about their reviews a lot but without an in-game bug reporting system all we can do to alert to issues is through a review. We dont speak Italian but this seems to be a nickname for warmongering kings, which we have to imagine this bug would appear very commonly for their English players.
The game has a series of really fun concepts that it fails to execute on in favor of making itself into an ad farm. You balance like 16 resources and every decision you make gives you some of each recourse and takes away from another. The choices you make to give yourself more resources may even have more widespread effects on the game at large, but the UI is a little too clunky to be able to easily tell. The problem is what you do with all these resources you collect. Nothing. Instead, every spy and general assigned, every relationship you build, every upgrade of your military or defenses costs XP. A resource you get through in app purchases or by volunteering to watch ads. You get about 6-7 per turn. Each turn is one season and 4 seasons in a year. Each ad you watch gives 50, which coincidentally, is about how much you need to do anything. If you dont watch ads with at least some frequency, you WILL have a miserable time. Your wife will hate you. Your armies will be managed by morons. Your Diplomats and spies will be worse than useless. Your administrators cosmetic. The game has a lot of really fun and cool concepts. The AI art and chat features are rudimentary, but well implemented. The story and character traits are good and the decisions well made. We dont know how poorly the game was doing financially that you had to make ads a mandatory part of playing, but youve done your game a disservice in the interest of maximizing profit.
Decent game, couple strange but usually funny bugs like when our 1yr old nephew tried to poison us? Or when our king died from severe battle wounds but thankfully was saved by his heirs lol. The cultural conversion isnt occurring despite having two cities over 100% influence (115% and 108%), Ive tried waiting a few turns years have passed and the cities remain under our influence yet not in our control. We remember the guide saying the city would automatically be converted to tours added having 100% influence, unless theres some hidden stat we missed like military presence to prompt conversion.
Love the game honestly the game play keep us entertained and we love the battle feature. Our only problem honestly is that out of all the avatars to choose from there is literally not one african american avatar. Before the update there were like three to four we didnt complain but yea id like to see that change. Probably wishful thinking.

We would really like to see more characters with longer beards and braided it would be really nice and more character pictures for the children as well.
TLDR: dont buy anything from their store because they will then intentionally put more ad to get you pay more to remove them It is a fun game to play so we bought xp from the store. Before the purchase the ad occasionally pops up which is acceptable but after the purchase it pops up MUCH MORE frequently and annoyingly, trying to get us to pay for ad removal as well. It made us so upset bc our purchase and money and willingness to pay for the game is not respected. They just want to rip off people who would pay to appreciate the game. Im not saying that they should remove adds for any purchase but they shouldnt make it more for their customers on purpose! Very disappointed despite a nice game they made.
So far, this game works great with voiceover, apples, screen reading software thats about all we can say for now, but we wish the music would keep playing. It doesnt matter that its not in stereo, but we still wish it would keep playing for a little longer as its so good. Ive always liked the middle, ages, knights and kings, and offer to things like that. Keep up the good work, and definitely make sure that one reviewer who had the bugs transit with voiceover. Of course, that software is for people who are blind, or visually impaired, like us. However, by the people might get help from it too if somethings not working, right.
This game is just what we wanted out of a royalty sim except even when you have a female character they are still referred to as male which is annoying and ruins the immersion.
This is a great game we wish we could pay for the ads to stop. It makes us want to stop playing everyone couple turns. It throws a lot of information at you at once but extremely fun and extremely addicting.
Okay great game a liked very much even brought a lot of XP and heirlooms but the game will not let us get in the royals palace and we do its crashed and closes the game do u guys have any plans for a update.
We only gave it a one star because we purchased the 5000xp and never got it! Doslalsicks.
Great game it is very fun but it has a few bugs. Mostly minor things that are sort of funny like how our heir we selected was our daughter and we made her a character (obviously all female features) yet any time we interact with her it refers to her as he lol.
This game makes you think and is enjoyable to play without it being a cash grab or having too many ads though when you want to do other chores (when you have no big problems but want to do something) when you press back after going into a menu it will take you all the way back and that bugs us a little.
We like it a little but we still dont understand its to much going on and we think Im a little bad at this game so we think we should stop playing its just to confusing to us.
Amazing game, fun and keeps us interested in playing 24/7. But still crashes a lot, and also half of the time you make in app purchases the game takes your money but doesnt deliver the product.
Hi we really like this game but sometimes adds will pop up and we can't close out of them when we are using voiceover and then we have to close out the app.
Please make attacking enemies easier. We lost a city and now that Ive come back for it, we absolutely can not attack it. Please advise. We would pay for six ACTS and a CONQUER game mode. Ad free, of course.
Had an issue with the amount of ads shown when going back and forth between screens, and wanted to see if there was a way to buy a no-ad version. Reached out to their team through IG and not only got a response, but they realized it was a bug and fixed it right away. Very happy with the gameplay as well, its quite complex for being so compact. The ability to play a game as deep as CK3 while only having to click on one action at a time is a blessing to someone who works full time. Our only recommendation would be to allow the picture vs selection fields to adjust. Its a little tight when scrolling through 10+ selections, the ability to expand the selection area would be great. And some sort of in game chat so we have some community cohesion (no pvp, just chat). Something to think about! Thanks again for the help and good luck, its a great game. The game is awesome. We left you all a review as well on the App Store, Ill write another in a month or so. Your small team has made one of the best, original grand strategy games out there. Even though you market it as turn based, you would probably have a better audience targeting the 4x strategy community (Sid Meiers Civilization, Age of Conquest IV for example). This lacks the character modding that turn based typically has (gear, stats, skills) but what youve really done is make a one-tap 4x grand strategy. Its amazing. You get all of the control and balance of a 4x, without any of the confusing movement or panning the screen to see your empire. Id really focus on that niche of gamers. No one has come up with a game like this, and we really hope it doesnt change into the p2w games that everyone is trying to push. Thanks again for listening, stay safe.
Since the new update it will no longer allow us to attack cities of kingdoms Im at war with. Love the game otherwise.
We really like the game and believe it needs a upgrade to make it more interesting and exciting.
Definitely like how in depth the story is and how every decision is a strategy. For example some decisions youll have to look at your lowest stat categories and make sure to do the decision that increases that, or other decisions you will have to make just to make sure to increase the overall percentage chance of completing an action. Example being warding off barbarians in battle. We definitely feel its a great game, especially since we lost our first king in 6 years but learned from it and have had his heir, his brother, reign as king for 23 years so far! Thumbs up to the creators on this.
We feel like this game is finally what its supposed to be with all its mechanics either that or we finally understand it after coming back to it after a couple years, either way Im happily playing it now and you dont spam adds which just makes it so less toxic.
This game is just what we like on the boarder of complex and yet still easy to play. It really needs to be more user friendly. Make it easier to read text or scroll. It, a phone game, give us more space to read our reports and act options.
We love the idea of the game, but some things dont seem to work. We cant actually choose the crest it will show and we also dont know how to marry in the game, that might be us though. Besides that it is a great game.

The game is pretty decent so far but to restricted an difficult. Itd be slightly different if the ads for experience actually worked but way too many things depend on experience and are extremely expensive in it. Makes it hard to do anything.
Im playing on a IPhone XR its not our phone because it works for other apps perfectly but the freezing gets annoying it keeps glitching a lot and we love this game its really fun but just not the freezing.

We like the game but the constant game crashing is enough to make you want to just delete the game. Its always turning off and freezing up. Fix that and the game would be worth downloading.
Very challenging and fun medieval game. You really need to be aware of how you are managing your long-game/strategy vs. Your short-game/tactics, our you may find yourself deposed by a pretender to your throne. Only issues are that it is prone to crashing, and the family member screens are so big that on an old iphone (5c), the save/exit buttons are inaccessible off screen.
Has so much more it could do but the game as of right now is unplayable at the end ur left with being worthless and not able to destroy ur enemies due to lack of xp also nothing works cant change lineage and cant marry anyone it be cool to marry ur enemies and things like that to gain territory this could be a really great game.
Its fun and getting better, but you need to fix the bug where everything freezes every time there is an advertisement. Even if it is just some thing that people are using speech to text software have, thats sort of the whole point of the game isnt it? Gl and ty.

We absolutely love the new version of this game, but once we get to a certain point, the game crashes and we are unable to continue and we have to start over.
Its fun but it seems like age doesnt matter after our 2 year old child had an illegitimate child. We also hope events like that would pop up so that illegitimate children dont just pop out of anywhere. And a better tree and not one with just possible heirs like who am we all related to.
Ok we really like this game. Its very fun and sometimes ita interesting to see how everything plays out and all of the events. But, however, there is one thing that always makes us really upset: the game is painstakingly difficult at times. For example, right now our dynasty isnt doing the best, and Im trying to get free xp. Well, it wont let us because it keeps saying that it cant show us an ad right now. Which we understand but our kingdom is over here going crazy and we need an advisor to help us. Also, when we do get enough xp to hire an edvisor, they only ones available will be for stuff we dont need. Like for example, lets say our factions and our iron are really low and our church and army are doing very well, they will be advisors for the church and the army, but not for the factions and iron. Also, sometimes our dynasties will die out really quickly but that parts probably just us lol. Well, thank you for listening to what we have to say we appreciate it. :).
Theres a glitch that crashes the game whenever we try to look at the family tree or line of succession.
Ive kept this app on our iPad for many months, hoping for an update. The game is fun, but we keep running into bugs that increase our frustration. Still not fixed. Sometimes the bottom of information text in choices is cut off, both the description and the stats/choice results. We can scroll but its such a tiny space. We usually skip reading the description of the action Im about to take just to focus on the stats effects, and we have to squint and be careful our scrolling isnt going to accidentally click the choice. Someone else tried to point this out but the developer misunderstood the complaint. We finally decided to play it anyway, but now Im running into other bugs. Sometimes an area of the screen seems to freeze such that our tapping doesnt register, so we have to kill the app and start up again. And last night, it kept cycling us through the same situation / set of choices 4+ times until we killed the app and then it stopped. And sometimes rewards ads dont play, or they play partway then die before we get the reward. Other than that, its fun and addictive. It would be our favorite game of this type if not for the bugs and UI issues. Id be thrilled with an update to resolve some of these things.
The app starts but when we go to put our dynasty name in we cant get out of the keyboard to hit continue. And we cant scroll down either. If this gets fixed Id be happy to change our rating.
This was the most entertaining game we had found to play in a while but had to stop after a couple days. Our IPhone 8 kept freezing up both inside the game and even when the game was closed. Our home button would freeze as well and restarting the phone several times did not fix the problem. We couldnt find a consistent reason this kept happening (it was worse when it was trying to play ad videos but sometimes happened other times as well.). We felt that this was the best choice game we had ever played, but the freezes were so frequent it made it unplayable.
Weird how when Im 8 we could have kids XD.
The only thing we would change- THE ONLY THING (off the top of our head XD) would be to make everything fit on the screen perfectly. We have an iPhone 11 and Im not sure if it works on others just fine, but on a lot of stuff we have to scroll, and it would be absolute perfection for us to be able to laze around whilst playing great job guys.
We made our 4 year old son the next heir and he had a son at 5 years old and another at 6.
Ive only been playing this game for a couple hours now but we can already see this game becoming a personal favorite if you like games with choices we highly recommend this gameThe reason im giving it a four-starBecause the game does lag quite a bit but when youre actually playing the game it is a very fun and unique experience we highly recommend it.
We love the game just wish there was more freedom to boost your various stats. Limit times throughout the game you were given an opportunity to boost a stat to any measure. Only one that that is doing bad. We are visually impaired this game is compatible mostly with our device and talks to us usually. The main dialogue screen reads as English. The effect reads in a foreign language. Our only true complaint is there is no how to. Example how do we designate an error. How do we promote a person on the air list to take over. One small last critique those free XP videos are very nice for free to play players. Unfortunately theyre not always compatible with a voiceover program on iOS products. All in all great game curious to see where were at next.
We Love the game, been playing it now for a couple days…but!!! Starting this morning the app keep crashing every time we would open it up. It causes us to lose our progress as well. We really enjoy this game and we hope the developers see this and help us out. Thank you.
