Gladihoppers is a wacky 2d physics gladiator battle simulator where the mix of the 2d physics and regular 2d animation offers a fun and original gameplay quite unlike your average gladiator mobile game. The combat system features two different battle stances for your gladiator, each with their own directional attacks of varying power and speed that allow for more dynamic and interesting battles.
In addition to melee attacks there are also javelins to throw and over 90 items to customize your gladiator with; swords, axes, maces, shields, helmets, armor, pants, gloves and shoes.
Gladihoppers blends retro pixel art 2d sprites with 3d low poly environments to bring you a unique looking style and stunning visuals that provide an immersive gladiator experience.

Been playing this game for maybe since it came out. Never got bored of it, still wish it got updates every now and then. Id hate to see it grow to become incompatible with newer softwares.

We love this game. The controls are well thought out and theres a fun variety of ways to play! Ive seen bad reviews for this game complain about the game being too hard, but their main problem is not understanding the way opponents work. We figured out how the strength mechanic worked far too late, but knowing that the reason enemies use the same or worse Weapons but getting better results than the player changes the way you play the game. This game can be mastered and its fun to do so. We think something that could be added to the game is some sort of shop once you get to Romania which sells the best weapons for each class that only the player can have and some potions which can be switched through mid battle so the trainer guy throws different drinks, not just for healing. Also maybe a fast attacking class dual wielding daggers but low damage would be cool. We have gotten the rare roblox of sound three times while taking damage and the yeet sound twice while throwing javelins, which are really funny and unexpected. This game is perfect and it also has tons of stuff it could add to make it even better.
Could you add different wars with different factions including the ability to recruit new mercenaries to fight for you for a fee this would make the game a lot more fun and more interesting for new players.
Overall we find this to be a great game with good graphics and lots of fun (especially for mobile). And we have spent a lot of time getting better at it. There are so many game modes and lots of detail everywhere. Anytime you are bored, or just want a game to make time go faster, this is your game. Or if you just are a mobile player and want to have a good time. The multiplayer option works very well, as long as you are playing with your friends, this does work online, but doing a random player match takes a while to load. This game is almost all pros, we just have 1 or 2 cons: one being that, we bought the pass so that you get no ads, which is $ 2.99, and we thought this was a great decision, but when we went to play the game, it was a scam. Ive only played the game with the ad blocker for a bit, and it does remove random ads that happen in the middle of the game, but there is an option to get extra power-ups occasionally in the game that originally require ads, and we thought that this was going to mean free power-ups (we did this mainly for the gold), and when we went to click on it, the game made us watch a 60-90 sec ad. We the game devs are reading this. Please fix it. But over all. You have made a great game that is completely under-rated.
This has always been one of our favourite games to play in pc whenever Im bored and messing around, so we were absolutely thrilled to find out that theres a mobile version. The controls translate nicely and overall the game is pretty well polished, Ive never come across any bugs or something that bothers us, and like, the game has honestly never annoyed us when Ive lost. Its an incredibly fun and chill game.
We like this game, but can you add more minigames like Spartacus War? Just a suggestion though.
We havent heard anyone talking about this game and thats an honest shame, Ive had a lot of fun with it. The fighting/level-up system is fun and engaging we honestly feel like the gladiator in this game. However, more modes would benefit the game as well as adding a hard mode that could bring new challenges to the game.
We wish there was a bow like a ranged weapon that you could use more than 3 times also request could you add difficulty settings to arcade mode and a Thors hammer.
We love everything about this game.
The game on a webpage says that you can use a Xbox controller but we try to play on our phone with our backbone that is a Xbox controller.
We played way too much of this game in the past and forgot to write a review. Loved our experience and the skill ceiling is very high. Each battle felt important and high stakes for us, great way to relive stress.
Soooo we love the game we have 100+ games on our iPad but this one is top 3 most played it just never gets boring but we think you should. MAKE A MOVIE ABUOT IT idk sounds like a good idea anyway thats all we have bye.

This is probably our fav indie game and mobile game out there. We have not complaints at all. Only thing we hope for is updates. Not sure if that will happen but either way we will keep playing.
Ive been playing for a couple years now, just as a thing to play on trips when Im bored, we play a lot and we love the wide range of weapons, armor, and game modes but we feel like you could make the Spartacus war have a even harder game mode, we just beat it with ease every single time and we wish that the order for the difficulty for the empires were in the order as follows Rome: easy Egypt: mid Rebel: hard Native: VERY hard.

The games great listen to the other five star reviews we agree with them it is time for some new weapons or a new mode. We think a story mode would go hard. Like the war mode but it has a story behind it and there are cut scenes and stuff.
So we reccomend tje roman empire we manage one city and nobody can defeat our max tier Crassus. Also there are two hidden sound one on tthrowing a spear YEET! Two on an enemys death Ooof! Oof is quiet Yeet is loud.
This game is AMAZING! It has a unique 8-bit art-style, cool game mechanics, and a decent amount of content/game-modes. This game is really underrated and Id highly encourage people to play it, you wont regret it.
We picked this game up after a friend said: "hey, we know you like fighting games, try Gladihopper!" we know he said it as a joke since im into the more serious foghting games like MK. But we still really love this game! The only thing that's missing and honestly leaves us craving for it is a little gore. Just a little. Please? Anyways, great game. Five stars.
For a smaller game this is very fun definitely worth a play.

First off this is one of our first mobile games love the combat of the game but we just wish there was more to it like a longer adventure to the career mode Id pay high dollar for that.
The game itself is the best game Ive ever played. The combat just has something in it that makes it super fun and this game is also a good game to just use 1 or 2 minutes doing a fight or beating the game with 15,000 or 30,000 fame. But that is where the problem comes in. We felt happy and excited when we were talking to the emperor about making a farm or fighting in the arena. When we said we wanted to keep fighting we fought a guard that was no match fore our 1050 HP. And we thought then we could play the game for an endless amount or until we had 100,000 fame. But, we instead had to give up our progress with our boy having 30,000 fame as a statue. If the developer sees this, we just want him to make the game last longer because it can be a bit short if you are good at games like these. But the game is the best game Ive ever played like we said before. That is just the one issue with this game. Hope you fix it because we feel that not just us but many people will be happy that it goes further than just 30,000 fame. And maybe add 2 or 3 more arenas like a prison level or a level where you are a fighter for god. We think that would be really cool so we hope you read this dev! Excellent and very fun game though.

Btw If you also think this is a good idea copy and paste this to your review to spread the word. The Please add more updates we have a idea for a future update. Please excuse our bad grammar. Our idea is that you would have the same moving mechanics as in the Spartacus war. And you could go to places on the map, just like you could go to cities in Spartacus war. You could go to the blacksmith to upgrade your weapons and the gladiator arena to do fights and there would be side quests to get more gold like you could fight a ton of tribal warriors to get honor from the emperor and you could use the honor to get like special weapons or armor. And we think theres a lot more that you can Figure out to add to the game mode. Notes to developer developer you made such a amazing game which has filled us with joy. If we had one wish it would be for a full update of Gladihoppers if we spelled that right we think that theres so much more you can add to Gladihoppers to make the game more amazing so please do it would make us very happy Thank you.
Very very very fun we hope this game was more famous and downloaded because of how good it is but a suggestion you should add a Japanese category like samurai armor and katanas and other Japanese weapons like spears and other stuff and in the SPARTACUS war you should add the Japanese empire and make it easy or normal why not hard? Because the Japanese empire was very strong they owned Philippines and a part of China and Korea Indonesia Thailand and Vietnam So PLS this will make the game much more better and fun.

Is a really good game but there is little to do.
We love this game Ive had it for a long while but we haves some ideas. We think only being able to fight in Italy is kinda dumb saying that Rome controlled the whole southern section of Europe and also you should add more games to the arcade like were you can play as a solder besieging a town by killing enemys and going through rooms (stages) if the town/castle or even city either or and when you reach the final stage you go against the leader/commander. But otherwise we love this game and the made it put so much effort in it.
This game has been so addictive, but in a good way. Ever since our brother told us to download the game, this is our most played game. But we have a suggestion: what if there was an option to be Achilles. Like you be fighting against many people and they would only be able to hurt you if they hit your Achilles _____(what ever body part you want it to be). Ok. What if you made the directions to the Spartacus War more fluent. OK. Thank yo uh so much for making this game.
A higher difficulty level would be nice; in a couple of days ive done everything there is to do in the game and its a shame; the mechanics are incredible.
This game is amazing. We love the pixel art, and the game modes are extremely entertaining. The story mode is fun, and, the best part, its playable offline! We dont see why anyone would ever not like this game. We have played this game for years now. Its easy, simple, and cool.
We think this is a great game. Ive put many hours into this game from the career mode to the campaign. We would love for another update to come that adds more civilizations to the campaign or make the map bigger, or anything really. Then for the career mode we wish there were more options to choose from. Ive maxed out all our helpers so the in game money just builds. We really do love the game and hope that a new update comes to add more amazing content.
Its as the title says, its a good game! We played this like five months ago or so and we really enjoyed it. It was a good game to delve deep on for a good chunk of time, as you get more advanced it becomes easier so we dont think you can play this for a extended amount of time without feeling bored but thats fine! Some people are like that after finding out all the kinks of the game but others are very interested in exploring whats the absolute limit yknow? The game is good if you want to kill some people in your downtime. Its good! No! Its great.
