We find Word Checker very useful for the solitaire crossword dice game Q-Less that is getting popular. We like this app best bc its isnt specific to the word scores we have in Scrabble, and the programmable anagram function is extremely useful in determining if a Q-Less roll is solvable or not. If anyone reading this hasnt checked out Q-Less yet, give it a whirl, in conjunction with this awesome app. (Im addicted).
We love app because our friends callenge every word we write and sometimes Im right and they are sorry.
This app works well for Scrabble and most of the ads are short and not too irritating. Tonight there was an ad that we could not get rid of. We actually had to delete the app and reinstall it to get it off the screen. Please keep junk ads like this out.
It didnt transfer our Lists from our iPad to our iPhone.
We enjoy this app but it doesnt include all available common words.
Have been using the app for quite a while set to Collins 2019. We also use 2 versions of the official scrabble dictionary. We have found words that are listed as accepted in the app but are not listed in either dictionary.
The worse free app ever. Too many ads. There is an ad with nearly every word check.
Great tool when playing Scrabble on iPad.
Any time we type a word it never has a definition. Plus its loaded with annoying ads.
We are trying three other dictionary apps only to be frustrated. We frequently play scrabble against the computer and the definitions here are brief and to the point. We love, love, love this app.
Good simple scrabble dictionary. Would love to see horizontal support added. Also clean up bugs with invisible text next to toggles. Also more definitions.
Here are a list of problems we have, 1st problem we have is the tokens, it says we do not have enough and to watch a five second ad to get five tokens. Fair enough but when we click on the video choice instead we get an at least 15 second ad instead of five for the same thing and we are NOT paying for this app 2nd problem is that when we go to the settings we do not know what the toggles are so we can not really know what we can change with the app for us 3rd problem is that when we want to see if a word is valid one of two things can happen, 1st thing that can happen is we get kicked out of the app when we try to see what it means and the word is not in the app where we saw it two seconds ago. 2nd thing that can happen is we see an ad the second we see if it is valid or not and then after the ad or when we click the x button we get kicked out and it is infuriating and like we said we are NOT paying for the app.
Miss two letter list in older/other scrabble dictionary.
Word checker plus a basic definition of the word is all we need. Great little app.
Easy and comprehensive word search.
Use every game to check and resolve disputes. Awesomely simple and very fast. Priceless.
Literally how? We have this group of friends that argue CONSTANTLY about this kind of thing. This app would have settled so many arguments. Once we were playing Spikeball and they stopped the game to argue about what the optimal playing strategy was. Playing any kind of word game like scrabble/ bananagrams/ boggle is soooo much simpler now that we can just defer to a single app and not have to argue about what dictionary is and isnt valid.
Annoying to have input disappear after a short time of being minimized. Either extend the time, or retain so we can cancel the next time we use it.
Great way to keep the grandkids honest and teach them words from another generation-vocabulary.
Would like if the anagram section was the first screen to show.
Within one or two minutes of using the app opened an ad with music. We didnt mind the rotating app in the middle of the screen, and liked the result of first few searches, but making noise we couldnt figure out how to stop was an instant delete.
Missing words on the screen. Obviously not compatible with latest iPhone and iOS.
Would love this app if we didnt have to pay for commercial free and definitions.
We loved this so until the recent update. It automatically clears after being minimized for a few minutes. This is annoying. Please fix it.

We put this right next to our Words With Friends app and refer to it all the time. Great, quick help with finding the right word.
Besides definitions, can find anagrams, and keep lists of common word combos for Scrabble – a handy tool for those of us who like a little help sometimes ;).
Very useful but the ability to create update and save word lists and anagrams would be a homerun! But love it.
