Community Insight:
Question: Who was the first black man admitted to Yale University. Multiple Choice answers: Edgerinn James, James W.C Pennington, Dr. Henry Louis Gates Jr, and Michelle Obama. We find that very disappointing and disrespectful towards Michelle Obama, Instead of adding her you guys could've at least put her husband instead. Because last time we check Michelle Obama is a WOMAN not a MAN.
Why do something to show the Memories within black culture if youre going to drown it with adds. We rarely do reviews but this situation deserves one, needs we would of liked to see more movie/show trivia questions as well.
We love the app. The ads dont let you exit. You have to exit the app and start the game over. Once thats is fixed. Its five stars for sure.
Some of the questions had no connection to black history/culture, one was factually inaccurate and another was misspelled. This was all in the first 10 minutes of playing.
We loved playing this game. However there are too many ads and when you try to exit out of them , it doesnt work. If there was a paid option to remove the ads Id be willing to pay a fee.
Less questions about the same people, movies, and shows. Most of the movie questions are about black panther and most of the TV show questions are about Martin. Just be more broader with your question, but still an amazing game.
We love the concept of the game but the questions are too difficult. There should be levels in the game or something. We understand they wanted to make the questions difficult but there should be easy questions as well. Also there are too many questions in the game about Jordan Peele and the movie Get Out. That is not the only black movie. Please try to incorporate things about tv sitcoms.
Great game, every morning while riding the T to work our girlfriend and we challenge each other to a game. Its a great way for us to bond and learn at the same time. Finally a game we put her into that she doesnt think is stupid. For those wondering, she wins most of the time.
We LOVE this game! It really helps us with Black history and facts. Our favorite category is Black Girl Magic where you are asked questions about Black Women specifically. It means a lot to have an app that provides representation across the board and celebrates the contributions of Black Women! We will be playing this daily.
Ive been playing this non stop since we downloaded it and our favorite part of playing is learning something new about black history.
We love game shows, so the fact that we get to have one in our hand to play with our friends while learning black history…. So much fun.
This game is AMAZING! Ive been playing non-stop since a friend recommended it to us. The questions are very well done and really challenge you! Im so glad this game exists because it represents Black culture in a way that should be celebrated! Our culture is so influential and Im reminded of that constantly while playing. So much fun.
The game would not load and we were unable to finish a game with our friend. Also the questions were very difficult in comparison to other trivia games, and this is coming from someone who does well playing jeopardy. We deleted the app because once it finally loaded back up the game with our friend had disappeared and neither of us had won he only had 1 point and it was our turn. Very disappointed in this experience.
Sometimes when we press spin it doesnt work.
