What Makes Democratia – The Isle of Five Stand Out
Take on the role of a clan leader and decide how a small island develops over 20 years.
This democratic island, which has some astonishing similarities with Switzerland, is home to five clans who together look after the well-being of the island. Each player takes on the role of a clan leader and, together with his clan members, looks after one of the island's resources.
The game can be played with up to five players, each on their own smartphone or tablet (in the same Wi-Fi). You control the islanders and decide by voting how the island should develop. Again and again events break over the island, which can have disastrous to very pleasant effects on the clans.
But what is the goal of each player? Every tribe has a different utopia and wants to realize it. Will the island become a global trading platform? Or an ecological natural paradise? Will the players work together and let the island flourish, or will political intrigues and conflicts of interest in the fight for victory mean its demise?

This game actually surprised us by how few people are playing it. It has a solid game mechanic, and the game has been translated into English perfectly. Sure, the game is a bit plain, but with time and a couple updates, we believe this game will become the next polytopia.
It's a great game but we hope there is a Chinese version.
In this game you are essentially the president of the village of your choice, You have to vote on your peoples behalf and keep your people happy. Pro beginner tip: your not at war with other villages. If you understand that early on youll get far. Overall great game, simple graphics and a cool voting system.
This game is fantastic! Most of the negative reviews are obvious trolls, Communists, or Chinese propagandists. So dont let them get you guys down! Keep up the good work.
We would to have a friendly sparring match with any of the developers :) any way we can make that happen.
This game is great and Im happy to have found it but it needs just a bit more complexity. Whether that be buildings, having to deal with your different population types and their opinion of your vote, or something else. This feels like its on the precipice of greatness.
Hi! We downloaded this game a few months ago because it looked fun, but, to our unpleasant surprise, we could not play it single-player. We dont know whats going on, but when we hit the play button, it just stays with the little loading wheel. It would be really great if you could fix it, because this game looks really fun.
We cant play it! No servers for non-local play or all so game so we can at least play by ourselves.
Cant even get new people, only lose people.
While this game is fun, it gives a very one sided view on certain issues instead of being of a more open and scientific mindset.
No real clear objective very boring and above all difficult to control.
Every game could have some working done on it but this one so far seems perfect, remember us when this game gets famous.
The experience of this game is greatly enhanced when you play with friends our only problem with it is that it can be a bit hard to know what vote will please your faction.
Great idea, decent execution, but we cant get over the obvious free market propaganda. The invisible hand of the market is replaced by the visible hand of the state. This hurts everyone. Take some time to add more actions other than converting or inspiring, include a currency system, tone down the obvious propaganda, and this could become a great, full-fledged game. We expected more out of Blindflug, but we guess thats what you get for working with a Think Tank.
