It is strange to us that the one game mode that does not exist is the one it's based on? Like the OG is a deck of cards, none repeating, and seeing how fast you can go through it? They have a deck game mode that we spent three weeks unlocking and it doesnt even time you? It just tells you how many sets you got? Dude there are 81 cards. We can do basic math. What's the point of that. We want to be timed and/or we want the multiplayer mode to be a full, non-repeating deck. It is so bizarre to be playing and have the same cards show up over and over in the same game. The android rip-off only had one game mode but it was the most obvious and appealing one.
The game is pretty decent. Its free to play too. But, we really wish that there would be a single player mode, and that you didnt have to sign in to play multiplayer mode. We downloaded this because the other SET was not free. This game is alright, but we wish it was like the other one a little bit more.
The only reason we rated this 5 stars is so it would show up on the list of reviews. We like this app. We play it sometimes. The bad thing about this app it that you need to pay to play REAL Set! We got this app, hoping we could play Set against people. We were wrong . The only ones you can play are; 1. One minute Set, where you have to find as many sets as you can in one minute. 2. 6 Pack, where you have to find six sets in one pack. 3. High Five, where you have to find five sets in one minute. There are many other games, but you have to pay for them. There is also multiplayer, but we cant play that one because of restrictions on our phone . You can only play three or four set games, none of which are real set! Its fun, but once you get high scores theres really nothing to do. If you want to get a Set app, pick a different one.
Our friends convinced us to get this app. The game seems fun so far.
We love this SET game! The ones made by the actual SET company are very old and one of them cost money. This one is free and is very fun to play. We love that you can customize the app to make your sets different colors! We play this like everyday because we dont like that you can only do the daily one once. GET THIS APP.
Great game, recently the ads cut in too quickly: you now have to watch an ad before seeing the score.
We paid for premium when that was a thing. Now you've changed the app and put several game modes behind a new paywall. Give them back to those of us who've already paid.

This app used to be great before the recent update. Now, it saves your data on the cloud instead of locally. Sometimes when we open it, it doesnt remember that ive bought other game modes, even when we have wifi. Do better.
Every time we progress to the next level an ad pops up but it wont allow us to click the X forcing us to restart the app from the beginning so Im not really progressing :(.
This is such a fun and tricky game! The goal is to find some that are related in some way. The worst thing about this is you dont beat your high score. We totally recommend this game and Im very picky with games. The only thing we dont like is we cant figure out how to get gems. Our friends and sibling loveee it. Our whole class plays it. If you need to waste time we recommend this game. So fun and tricky! Makes us smarter. But we dont get how to play new modes. If you dont pay or something there are 3 modes you can play 1. 6 set, where you find 6 sets 2. High 5, where it times you to see how long it takes you to find 5 sets. We dont remember the rest but we recommend this game.
We love this card game and the app version is fun but it seems like the Multiplayer setting where you can compete against others is only for those who want to play with friends. We would love an option to be matched randomly to other app users for competitive play as we dont know anyone else who used this app. We also wish there was an option for a longer timed session. We keep doing the one-minute game over and over but it goes quickly and we cant seem to improve over our previous best so its become less fun. A two minute or three minute option would allow for more varied play.
Pretty great game except the creator recently decided to change a basic card game into a gem and coin buying game which is absurd and we lost all the game features we already paid for.
Got introduced to the game from a friend and downloaded the app so we could play for fun. Paid for the premium that gave access to all features but am upset with the new update that has blocked what ive paid for (deck). We dont mind the new features (expert & mania) but hate that if we were to get them we would need to spend more money. There was no need for currency we just wanna play our game :(.
We have used this app for a while, and it generally works well. However, the most recent update removed access to several game modes. We already paid for premium in the past, so we would like to retain access. We also really miss the leaderboards! We hope that could be added back in with a future update. While it is fun to try to beat our own PRs, it adds extra motivation to see where you stand :) Even just including a percentile would be fun.
The new update is laggy and sad, we miss the fast sound in the old version.
Nice idea, but a clunky app. There is no button to click when there are no sets out. There is no button to click when you want to get further into the tutorial.
Guys we love this game like we lowkey got all our castmates to play its a problem (this sounds like one of those bot reviews under games but actually im just ADHD).
We love this game so much. Its such a good time passer and its difficult but not difficult enough to make it annoying.
Fun game, but when a set isnt accepted we really wish it would have a dialog box that either says set found or invalid, so you know why it wasnt ok. That would really help.
Our elementary school teacher got our entire class hooked on this game, and we havent looked back since. Its a beautiful game with just the right balance of strategy, luck, and reaction time to be loads of fun! Ive been a fan from ages 7-20, and it never gets old.

This game is so much fun to play and is challenging! So if you are looking for a game where you have to think it is great! Our only thing is that we cant figure out how to play multiplayer. But overall great game and really fun.

We love this game so much. We have a daily average of three and a half hours on this game. The design is so cute, it has such an easy interface, and interesting game options.
Great design! Ive played every month for over a year now, so that shows how solid the app is. Premium is well worth paying for. Two suggestions: 1. Multiplayer can be glitchy sometimes only works if you send the invite to your friends phone number, not their icloud game center icon. 2. Fix deck mode! Any time there isnt a Set out of the 12 cards, you have to start the game over, which makes it almost impossible to play. The developers should add the official rules of being able to deal out 3 more cards when there arent any sets. Math shows that there is a ~1/13 chance there wont be a Set out on any given dealing. Since that is true, and there are 24 possible sets, and the game ends whenever there isnt a dealt set, it makes Deck mode incredibly hard to play, which shouldnt be the case when it is the most classic game mode.
A phenomenal way to stimulate your brain. This is a well designed app that translates the physical card game perfectly onto a digital platform. We highly recommend it and probably will purchase the premium option for the extra game modes soon.
Our friend got us into this game a few months ago and its super fun. If youre playing against others its super intense, but still a fun challenge to play alone. Incredible game design.

This is a really well designed and good app.
We used to play set all the time in 4th grade and we were so good. But then we forgot about it and im kinda trash now, but thanks to this app im getting to a much better again.
We would appreciate if we could play upright and also if we could shuffle them once in awhile. But that also just might be the rules so what do we know.
Im an avid set player and consider ourselves proficient. This is the first time im playing it in dark mode and its a new challenge to see the cards in different colors am we somehow missing the option for light mode ? Its frustrating. Also the graphic for the striped shapes could be changed so that the stripes arent so close together. With the dark mode and the color options, it is more difficult for the eye to differentiate patterns, which is also frustrating. The games are pretty good, though there is no option to pause (which should engage a blank pause screen so there is no cheating). But we like that it seems to be programmed to always have at least one set somewhere on the spread, so that there doesnt need to be a no set button. New players might benefit from a hint button, though. Overall pretty good but the stripe pattern designs and dark mode are our biggest issues so far. Our fastest average set time for a full deck is 4 seconds per set found on a normal traditional deck, but in this app that average has slowed significantly. Verdict still out if this is a flaw or simply a challenge to overcome. Perhaps just personal preference.
We love it, EXCEPT we cant seem to skip the ads. No option to pay to be ad free.
We love the game and think the app could be improved upon by having helps. If you dont win by the times end please show the set. If you need a hint, etc. It helps to have the sets show in the multiples (high five and 6). We would love a shuffle game- where there are 3 cards shown and you have to say yes or no to it being a set- brain training. Thank you for the game.
When we tap on the locked game modes, a loading icon appears for less than a second on the left side of the screen and then nothing happens. Not sure if theres supposed to be an option to upgrade to a full version or something. Im on iOS. Otherwise, its fun and runs smoothly, and the card randomization seems very reliable.
We love this app but sadly we cant play with our friends. We contacted the developer but didnt get a response.
After forfeiting, there should be the option to show what we missed.
A great implementation of a classic game, the variety of modes is impressive and each is intuitive. However, in the speed mode we have found that there are some configurations for which there is no solution (as verified by online set solvers). We think for this mode at least one set should be guaranteed to exist.
Have wanted one for a long time, and this doesnt disappoint! Looks great, no huge bugs, and lots of different modes to keep our ADHD brain happy. We would happily give it 5 stars except for: 1. Multiplayer always just searches forever and never matches us maybe theres just not enough people using that mode when we want to? Either way, Id like to see some different kind of multiplayer mode, so that we can actually use it! 2. The timers dont pause when you click the (?) icon, which is fine, but it means theres no way to pause in the middle of a game other than leaving the app. For sprint and other fast modes thats fine, but when Im 7 minutes into a 10 minute level we dont want to give up just because someone wants to chat with us for a minute. 3. Only some stats are available, and it would be nice to have some sort of stats for everything, even if theyre silly or arbitrary. All the modes Im best at have no Game Center comparison, so we cant feel smug about our skills!! Its a great app, and as someone who has played SET their whole life, it makes us very happy.
Love the design, the game modes, very fast and clean. Tried playing online with a friend and it was unusable. Tried for 5 minutes, invited each other, added each other as friends, the invite appears then disappears, when we were both in we couldnt start the game.
This game is great and super addicting. The only reason we gave it 4 stars is because we can never play multiplayer. More people need to download the app.
We often play the Deck mode as it resembles the actual game you would play with your cards against others. We wish the developer found a way to reshuffle the cards when none of the 12 cards make a set. Instead 70-80% of the time, the game gets stuck and ends abruptly, forcing you to restart the game.
Great game. It will keep you mentally sharp. But this app has too many long ads.
