Im a beginner. There are no commercials. Its fit our needs for learning chess. We play the 2nd to the lowest level for puzzles. We just learned how to share it, so soon Ill be playing against a friend. Enjoy.
Players are not timed on moves and will waste clock instead of moving pieces. This is especially prevalent when you have them in difficult positions. Game needs timed moves. Overall very fun to play against others from different nations, but the excessive cheating makes it annoying. But no ads makes up to an extent.
Browser play is tough. Also: great on the TV. Thank you.
Thinner game teaches you and even younger kids how to play chess we play chess with our brother and he is onlyday 2 years old and he is so good download now and become a master at chess.
If you're looking for a mental game to while away some hours and work out your soft tissue, then Chess is perfect for you! In all seriousness, this application is a wonderful way to improve your chess skills, even for new and intermediate players. Few actual humans. Just bots playing same openings over and over again.
Either the player pool is very small or the app has some horribly inefficient queuing system running behind the scenes. Either way, no one is going to sit around twiddling their thumbs for 30 minutes waiting for a game to load.
After the update Im unable to replay our games, the screen is just stuck on the end result.
Works flawlessly. Our son and we really enjoy playing together.
This game is fun. Im completely new to chess so Im using this to learn. When you get up to certain levels the computer is impossible to beat. AI is always 5 moves ahead of you no matter what you do.
Great app! It has a very aesthetic and simple theme but includes everything you could want, matchmaking, puzzles, private rooms for playing friends, and more! Us and our friends get on and play 2 – 3 games a day.
This is the only chess app that we found for the iPad where the black & white pieces are correctly oriented when 2 people to play. A friend and we play every week using this app. We tried several others, but this one we like the best.
Wish you could message your opponent besides that thumbs up.
This app has many glitches with AI pawns capturing ours, even when we move them two squares where they are past the attacked square.
