The cards are beautiful and whenever we think theyre going to run out of ideas for new sets, Im always proven wrong. You might think its impossible to catch up, but there are so many friendly players who want to help! We just wish the in-game forum was used more so we dont have to turn to facebook to know whats going on. Anyway.. Play PackRat.
Feels like a scam. The higher the risk, the higher the reward, thats the purpose of putting higher bid options. Yet, there are many plenty of times Ive won more in a game from the smart bids than the higher ones. Theres no consistent winning schematic. It just shoots out random numbers. At the very least, winning solitaire should reward you with more than half of what you paid to play. It costs $100 for 1200 tix. We blew through 1200 tix in flip rat, lost all our tix and not even one flip card. Dont be fooled by the win up to 25x or whatever it is they have on there. You could win that, but after hours and hours, days after days of solitaire and flip, we have never won that much. As all things, the system is set up to make you fail, however, they take no effort in at least making it feel promising. Anyways, dont waste your money on this game.
This is a relaxing kind of game that Ive been playing for years. For the past 2 months, the iOS app has been glitchy. Even though Im up to date on our iOS version and this app version, sometimes whenever we pull open the game, it doesnt go beyond the Packrat screen. Sometimes, it asks us to log on to Facebook however, we dont use Facebook for our login.
Swipe feature isn't responsive. We preferred it when it was first released. We don't like how the status shrank and the spacing of the cards in our pack doesn't look right in order to accommodate the scrapbook feature, which we will never use.
We have no issues with the app and Im SO glad to be able to play on our phone.
13 year player returning from a break. The new interface was a shock and Im not a fan at all. Cant play with tablet horizontal, its much less intuitive, less responsive, etc. Have loved this game and had a paid account most of our years playing, so its really disappointing to log back in to find it now looks and plays like an app a high schooler made for a class project.
We played packrat from the beginning.we recently due to circumstances not related to pack rat had to pause for about two years.we came back just as they were rolling out the new app. We love the app, it works great for us and its so easy to click on cards to get extra credits and draw cards.Looking at the beautiful artwork of the cards using our phone, we see such beautiful detail that we hadnt even noticed before. The set designs are fun and gorgeous. Before we left we only played co-op but we decided to try FFA upon our return and that has added a lot of fun and opportunities for us. Many reviews here are upset about changes that Have been made,But Im going with the flow and they dont bother us. Im back and Im loving it. Im so happy to be back. Try it you will love it too.
We have played this game since near the beginning. There have been plenty of changes over the years. Some took awhile to get adjusted to but we always found the game fun. We still do. We look forward to playing another 13 years if the devs will stick with us! Thanks for a great game.
We have been playing since 2008. We have made many friends playing this game. We love the beautiful artwork and creativity of the card sets. Yes there have been changes and while they may not be something that pleases everyone at least the developers are tryin to keep the game going.
We played this game since 2009 and am leaving for good. The new version is terrible. Whose genius idea was it to put gold bordered cards on a pale yellow background? Fire them. The old color scheme was vibrant but the new is just blah. The card spacing is odd, most of the packs we followed are gone and not a single aspect of the game improved. No redeemable features to warrant paying let alone playing this.
Not sure why they changed the design. It was fine before.
We were using the old app and much preferred the interface. We cant resize the screen and everything is awkward. We were getting tired of the game so this may be the final straw since we cant use the old version anymore.
