Wordbox is a classic word search game that faithfully recreates the feel and gameplay of the American board game Boggle. It's been carefully handcrafted for your phone, and sports most of the quality of life improvements you’d expect from a modern rendition.
Playing is as easy as swiping along adjacent letters to spell out words and pick up points.

–HOW TO PLAY–
Connect words by swiping along letters in the grid to spell them out, then release your finger to enter the word. If you've found a recognised word, the letters will flash green and your score will be increased!

–WHY AM I SOMETIMES SEEING ADS?–
Wordbox depends on showing the occasional ad to help pay for server costs. There are many features that rely on connecting with our backend in order to work, such as logins, user data backups, multiplayer games, leaderboards, ranked high-scores and the daily challenges. The amount of ads shown will be at the lowest minimum required to make sure things are running smoothly. Keep in mind that making any direct contribution to the app, such as buying any item from the in-game store, will disable all ads forever. Thank you for your understanding and continued support!

Since Electronic Arts essentially abandoned the Boggle app we have not found a really good alternative until now. Though it is free we felt compelled to spend money on alternate dice to support the app designer as a show of appreciation. The only thing we can think of that would make this app better for our preferences would be to be able to play landscape as well as portrait. Thanks, Glenn! Well done.
Dictionary could use some updating, but excellent otherwise.
We really enjoy this game. Its straightforward and easy to play with others, so Ive found that it can keep us busy for a really long time. While its great to challenge others, its also fun to do solo, especially with the daily challenges.
4 Star gameplay – giving 5 stars for visibility and hopefully improvements in future. 1. No intrusive ads 2. Interface is confusing and it took awhile to figure out where ranked play is. 3. High scores indicating past winners seems to be broken. Otherwise high scores are a nice feature. 4. Gameplay is smooth but scoring needs consistency work as does word placement as many rounds there are ridiculously few words that can be formed overall. May review that says some people are getting super high scores either has been fixed or is a suboptimal player and mind jumps to cheating rather than that someone is that much better. Cheers to the devs – hope to see some positive changes in future.
Been looking for a game like Boggle that we dont have to play with others online. This is it. We also love the fact that we can change the timer. To a faster game or to a longer game.
If you think youre good at Boggle, just see how few of the possible words you actually have found. Humble humble.
Solid Boggle game without any major gimmicks, pay-to-win mechanics, or intrusive ads (there are ads for the free version, but they arent excessive like other mobile games). The only issue we have is with the daily challenge. Its pretty clear to us that there are some people playing the daily challenge twice (its supposed to be a one-time game) resulting in some unnaturally high scores for the number of words found. We think they do it by playing on one account and then switching to another. Not sure if theres a way to crack down on this, but would be nice if people played fair.
Wordbox is pretty simple to play. And for $2, you can go ad free. Works for us.
Its crashing at the end of any game with more than 4×4. Everything else about this is great! And at least it doesnt crash until the end of the game, but rebooting each time is a pain. Please fix :).
Repeats the same words if you play 2 games in a row. Also repeats a new word that you make in the next 2 games. Disappointed.
Setting the game duration to 1 week doesnt work! The app restarts after we switch to other applications and come back to Wordbox. So our work is gone and new game starts up. It happens after a few minutes or a few hours, sometimes the same board is there when we return and sometimes it starts a new game board. We use the one week feature to eliminate the pressure of limited time to find words, Id rather have it be a relaxing experience. Note that we are not shutting down the app, just switching to other apps. Otherwise the game is fun to play and we like the options that are unique to this game. Ill be happy to upgrade our rating when this is fixed. Thanks.
It only runs in portrait and theres no way to make it rotate.

Ive always loved the game Boggle. Ive played other word games, but we hadnt found a great one, until now. We love that you can change the time limit for the game, too. Great gameso good for the mind, and just a break from the news and all things unpleasant. We highly recommend this game.
We love this game and the way its constructed but the only problem Im having now is that we are seeing the same boards as we just have done. We hope it fixes itself. Thanks.
Much better than the plastic, subscription junk offered by Hasbro. 6×6 and 5×5 modes don't end properly though. When the time runs out, the game just hangs. Please fix this.
The same player wins the Daily Challenge, always. We noticed this particular player when she started because of her name ~ and believe us, she wasnt that good. Then all of a sudden, she became the top player, every day for months now. Its discouraging, and makes us not want to play. Theres no point, when the only way you stand a chance, is if the cheater decides to take a day off, and good luck with that.
Utter trash. Multiplayer completely doesnt work. Dont waste your time downloading this broken app.
We really enjoyed this, its very boggle-like and has many neat features.
This is the classic boggle type game. No annoying pop-ups, no cheesy prizes or rewards to earn, and SO engaging and fun! We love all the options to compete for your own best score, compete against others, or just play with various timers without competition. The daily challenge is the BEST! Please keep this app updatedif we needed to pay a download fee we would.

Having so much fun with this game. At first we thought it would be too simple but it is quite challenging.

The inability to copy the long multiplayer code to share with whoever youre playing with is a huge issue with this app. We shouldnt have to write it on paper or take a screenshot. We should just be able to copy it. The app is great otherwise.
We really enjoy this game. Its the classic boggle game that we grew up playing and there are NO annoying pop up ads in between rounds. We would gladly pay a download fee for this since we use it so often. Our kids, 7 and 8 and future word nerds like their parents, also find it engaging.
Ive come across several common words that the game doesnt recognize like lien or page… Also, it repeats the same boards too frequently. There are better apps out there.
Better than wordstacks, or the games where a set number of letters are given in a circle and 99% of the words found are bonus. This game offers three levels of finding words, 4 letters across/down, 5 letters or six. This game also offers different time limits to find words, and assigns scores similar to scrabble. Its problematic in that sometimes there are many more consonants than vowels, and it can be very difficult trying to find words. Its also odd that whenever a word is found, the game makes a banging noise. There was a recent update where 5000 new words were added. Hue is a word, but this game doesnt recognize it.
Classic boggle that would be improved if there was a way to save your preferred game settings. Log in is super buggy.
The icons and buttons arent intuitive. The design doesnt fill the whole screen, some of it is very small text. When in the game, its hard to track what letters your finger is swiping on.
