Community Insight:

Love this app, great for keeping track of your collection. We have struggled with the deck builder as we would like it to utilize the scan function to make it easier to save deck lists.

Some things can help streamline adding our whole Collection would be full card scanning, instead of attempting to sift through many different sets for a variety of cards. Second, our wife and we share our collection. And as we are both active duty military being able to have this list accessible on both of our phones would be incredibly beneficial. Also, if we cant log in, does that prevent us from seeing this list on any other devices.

Great app, however Im noticing still alot of cards not getting picked up or scanned in, how often is the database being updated? Paid for the extra 1000 slots.

It is great for keeping your collection up to date. The export function could use some work. We have to manually manipulate the data before we can import it anywhere. Also, the is a bug right now with Dragon Storm. The app doesnt recognize the cards as legal for some reason. We have 12,000 logged in the binder, so we obviously like it and am vested in it.

We think this is a great app out of the box. We cataloged about 400 cards in the first week we had it. The scanning ability is great, but there are some clunky pieces to the UX that could use some improvement: after scanning a card, you should be able to directly add it to a pre-existing deck. Currently, you have to go into the deck, hit +, and then find your card. At scale it becomes tedious. after scanning some cards and adding a quantity, you cant add them to a deck. This happened with our Gandalf the White card. Scanned, added qty, but when we try to add it to our deck, the app cant find it. Its listed in our cards though. the app needs bulk functionality. We should be able to scan 100 cards, bull select them all, and add them to a deck. Doing one at a time is the worst. most of the time the filtering doesnt work. If we select show only cards from today all our cards still show.

We really love the scanning function and the ability to choose foil/nonfoil along with the way it shows all the card with that scanned name. And we love that you can look at the whole release of cards by their set. The search ui could use some work to not be so clunky. But right now, we are unable to export a csv file that can be read on either deckbox or moxfield, which is making this system useless for us.

This app is fine but it does take a long time to scan cards. We do enjoy having it though and we recommend it to anyone who wants to keep a digital binder of their cards. If there are better options out there its too late for us to get on board with those so it would be nice if the developers would optimize certain features like set recognition and scan speed.

Not the perfect app but far, far better than most every other competitor. One suggestion to the developer would be adding the ability to filter cards in your collection by set (without viewing the entire set and toggling the cards in/cards not in our collection filter from the set view within the See Cards By Set search menu).

Good till you go to proper check of a lot of different basic lands. Gotta go hunt them down very time consuming because it could be in 4 different locations.

$0.99 for 100 slots and $5 for 1,000 slots. It would have been nice to know that before scanning 242 cards.

This app is precisely what Ive been looking for. We have physical binders to organize our cards which is great, but theyre not always practical to carry around with us (three binders of about 500+ cards each carry a lot of weight). This app is a fantastic way to catalog our collection for quick reference and craft decks before going through our collection and physically assembling it. There is a cost to upgrade the amount of cards stored, but to us it is a worthwhile investment.

We have two mtg databases and we use this one to see what cards we are missing in a set and always nice to know exactly how many different cards are in the set. We also have the card format rows of 4 because we own only 12-pocket binders for each set and the app shows where they are placed by card numbers. The only thing we dont like is we cant create a deck when the cards are not on your database. Sometimes we compare the two databases and sometimes the values are different. Otherwise nice job.

The cards are expensive and enough. We have over 50 commander decks, not willing to pay $25 just for our commander decks. We were excited this has a great scan tool, just not worth the $$$. Online (free without limit) is a much better value. We would have paid $5 for a yearly sub (w/reasonable card tiers). The developers of this obviously are not collectors or at least of this economic plane.

Way better then other premium card tracker apps. Up to Date Database. Scan tool works 98 percent of the time and can scan black cards and full art cards without a problem.

The app is great, we love being able to have a digital library of all our cards. The ability to sort and search is easy to use, and scanning the cards works well minus a few errors. We do wish the card values was better, we have many cards that say they are worth more than the really are, which is disappointing.

Its a great app for managing our decks on-the -go, checking if a certain card is in a deck, and supplementing our deck-building / deck-modifying process! For a next feature, Id love to see the ability to automatically add cards and create a commander deck by selecting a precon deck.

We love using Card Binder to store our collection and search for cards. A couple features that would be great. Would be the addition of filtering cards by sets, as well as the ability to add custom tags to cards that could be filtered.

It works amazingly, but we just wish you had more card space. Until now, we never knew the value of our cards.

We reached around 14000 cards and suddenly all our card space upgrades disappeared. We would have to buy them all again. Before that, was pretty good for purposes.

Love this app! Best mtg card scanner and practical features on IOS by far.

For everyone who is struggling to use this app, remember that the camera is only looking for the card name in the database and your select the version or type of the card you have. We do not recommend using the auto-add feature as any app in the App Store does not have a perfect auto add feature. If you have a huge card collection like us, this app is perfect for sorting every card you have. Just keep in mind that the creator has to make money somehow. At leased Im not paying for a subscription and instead a 1 time fee for more card slots which we prefer much more. It is however a little buggy when looking at your stats of how many cards you have or you estimated card collection worth. (Im on iPhone 11) Adding cards like token creatures you will have to manual add by looking up the name of the set that the token card is in. And some other cards you will have to look up manuals because it has a weird name like a backwards A. Other than that this app is awesome and we highly recommend it.

This app is our go to for our collection but the one downside is when it comes to etch foils they dont show the price/value, which we heard it the card database they use for the cards to keep them updated. Wish for a card value graph for price changes.

We love this app and we use it all the time, but can you please add waste to the basic land selection? Also a way to see the tokens associated with the cards in a deck would be awsome.

We have had this app for about a year, and it is great. We mostly use the explore feature to browse through cards and to add cool ones to our library to add them to decks. One feature we would love if you guys could add is to be able to sort the cards shown in explore by set. It could be a really good tool before drafts so you can see all the cards before you play. Overall, great app.

Starting with 100 slots is practically nothing. A 5000 slot option would be nice. But otherwise, it is very helpful.

Having to pay for more space by number of cards is ridiculous. We have a book app – we can scan books, search the internet for them, have an unlimited library where we can take tons of notes on each individual book – it was a one time 5.99 fee. Lets us organize everything however we want. Should be a one time upgrade fee.

App only gives you a 100 card capacity an wants you to pay for more storage. Would be better if you did more space for free.

Only thing we wish we could do is create a type of wishlist. Like create a deck or something of cards we want to either buy or get. Would be a perfect 5 if it had that. But as far as scanning, collecting, tracking. We really like this app. Only wish it didnt cost money to keep track of more cards. Honestly worth it though if it keeps getting updated.

Ive been playing mobile for a long time. With the latest update brother of war release, our iPhone 12 is running hot and battery drain is noticeably worse. Please work on fixing in next sprint cycle.

We got this app today and so far its worked great. Theres been a few glitches with the scanner here and there, but they have all been easily fixable, and its been rather easy to add cards to our collection. We did at one point have a bug that prevented us from scanning of loading new cards, but that eventually fixed itself.

Love this app. Its so, SO useful for looking up cards on the fly, keeping track of your collection, and quick value checks. We REALLY wish they would add a wishlist feature! We know we could make a deck titled wishlist, but unfortunately it tracks the cards as if theyre in your collection and adds to your total value. We want our stats to be accurate so Id like to not have to do this. Please make a wishlist feature.

Not interested in building a deck Just want to inventory our cards and assess their value Found this app confusing to use we could not get past the first scanned card A tutorial on you tube would be helpful.

We made diamond our first month when we paid 30$ , Ive become a better player , more often and smarter hasnt happened since our first month this game is garbage.

This is a really useful and well put together app. Theres just one issue. No matter how hard we try, Ionize doesnt work. Ive scanned dozens of other cards with no issue, but this forgettable bulk Izzet rare just wont work. Ill gladly give the extra star when this gets fixed.

We love the app for managing our collection and it initially synced between our iPhone (better card scanning) and our iPad (better Deck management). But once we got over 1100 cards, it just stopped syncing. Now we have to create a .csv file and transfer it back and forth every time we make a change to keep both updated. #frustrated.

If you play Magic the gathering or just collect Magic cards this app is a must have.

Keeps the collection organized and tons of great features. Really solid app. Thank you.

This keeps track of price points of each cards and totals per deck/altogether. Issue is you have a 150 card limit and then its 99 cents to get another 100 slots. If you have lots of cards this can be an issue. Otherwise this is practically perfect.

Super easy to organize, but very difficult to merge previous scans with new ones. There should really be an option to merge imports with your current library. It would be really nice if there was also an option to multi-select the cards you have in your library so you dont have to go though every single card to build your deck files.

This app makes you pay to expand the number of cards that you can scan into your collection. This wouldnt be a problem if there was an unlimited purchase option. However, the app makes you pay 3.99 for 1000 cards. This might sounds like alot but we can assure you that it isn't, especially if you plan on scanning in your whole collection. Even if we only scanned in our moderate-high value Modern play stock, we would need to purchase the 1000 card expansion umultiple times (if that is even an option). There is no way we could afford to scan in our other cards, without pawning an Underground Sea. We like the design of this app, but there are alternatives that don't have a ridiculous paywall for collection expansion.

Not sure if it was just malfunctioning but the scan function started causing rapid camera flicker. Not a problem for most but if you deal with migraines or seizures be careful. The good new is it did scan the card successfully.

We would give this app 5 stars but there are a few missing features. First it would be great to be able to search by set for cards you don't own. Currently when you search you can search by title, type, color and price, but it would be great to be able to search the set too. Also when searching by set for cards you do own you really need to be able to hide the sets that you don't have any cards in. Also would be great is there were more teirs for buying space, just 100 and 1000 isn't enough, at a 5000 tier at least.

Good app but there seems to be a really annoying bug where if u have multiple foils of the same card, it just disappears.

This is a good app however its impossible to add our card to a deck Im pressing the add to our deck but that does nothing please help us.

This app is a great way to catalog your collection digitally and you can even export your collection to CSV. The app allows you to scan 100 cards for free and then pay for some extra space which is well worth it. Most apps with similar functions ask for a subscription fee which is far more costly than what this app is asking for. You also know when you pay for more card space you are supporting a developer that is active in discord and communicates well with the consumers. The app itself is visually pleasing and we enjoy that we can have badge icons in display the current value of the cards as well as the number of those cards that we have. You can also create decks as well. The scanning is fast and responsive and we didnt even have to take our cards out of sleeves in order to scan them accurately. We are very pleased overall and cant recommend this enough. We do have some suggestions: 1. We would like the syncing between the devices to be a little more responsive. This may be an apple issue, but we have noticed that the app on our iPad and iPhone dont always speak to each other. 2. We would like to be able to import cards into a specific deck without necessarily clicking on the card, scrolling to the bottom, and then clicking add to deck. It is fairly time consuming and there are many apps that offer more efficient ways to accomplish this. 3. We would also like to be able to organize our inventory with more filters and options. Again, this is an amazing app and those are just our suggestions/wishlist and are in no way criticizing the developer. We know it is a small team and understand these type of things take time.

This app is definitely worth it. We purchased an additional 1000 card slots to track our collection. It updates prices and the estimated value is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Awesome app wish it had more space for free users.

This app has so many great features for all Magic fans! The scan feature is a little clunky but still works. And the explore feature allows you to find cards that youve never seen before. Also, for $4, you can increase your space by 1,000 cards, which compared to other binders, is a steel! Great app, just fix the scan a little, and it will be perfect.

No matter what we do we cant scan thersnipe. Otherwise everything else is perfect.

We love this. Scanning our cards and adding them to our digital collection has never been easier. However, there are a few improvements that we think could be made. For example, some simple custom organization tools could go a very long way. As of now, once a card is in your collection, theres no way to organize it other than on the main display with the rest of the cards in your collection. Being able to sort cards by set name/number would be great as well. Id also love to see support for horizontal viewing if we want to turn our phone sideways to look at the cards that way. Great job on the app! Ill be recommending it to our friends.
