Community Insight:
You must update the Backbone for Ronin The Last Samurai.
Audio stops working after each battle. Basically can only play a few times a day without paying. No option for subscription or anything we can see. Also while the main graphics are pretty nice, the UI is confusing and dated.
The characters are all the same, and there are also bullet knives.
Thats good. They took the reference from Sekiro.
This game is really fun but we would have better time controlling the game with a controller.
This game is fire, feels like a pocket version of sekiro.
The combat system in this game is amazing with all the parry and slash seems cool and some of the bosses have an interesting attack pattern and how u get a skill every mission is interesting.
Really fun and its nice and simple, challenging and fun.
Does tomoe have a coverage period.
Definitely a cash grab like everything else, charging $$$ for items that arent worth the price. The chests rarely bare any fruit, but if you dont mind the grind, this game is worth the play, just not worth the pay. As far as the technical and mechanical aspects of the game, it is very well done and highly responsive. It is sad to see a game this good fall into the money trap. But believe us, despite this, it is still far better than 90% of the other games out there. Thats saying something. Would love to see this on a console. We agree with some of the other reviews that the content is limited. Also, the random loot algorithm should at least recognize character specific items. Spending money and then constantly getting loot that doesnt even apply to a character you have is a bit annoying. How many times can we draw and get items/essence for the blazelight bow or armor for Tamoe when we havent even unlocked or use her.
We started playing this game a while back, but we hit a plateau in the adventure mode, and it didnt seem like we were leveling up enough, as a free to play playerso we took a break for a while. Recently though, we got back into it and Ive been enjoying it a lot more, especially with the new faction feature. The only comments/suggestions we would have are, maybe make some kind of clan vs clan challenge, or eventand please make an option to change your faction name! That would be great.
Literally a samurai enjoyers dream.
Its really good, its hard but not too hard, only suggestion id make is maybe adding an offline mode so we can play on the go without worrying about internet. Also different armor skins would be cool so we could customize the armor color, and a character editor as well. But Id mainly like to see an offline mode please and thanks.
After watching the advertisement, it will automatically open the App Store.
Vagabond vibes, almost like it was taken right out of the manga.
Very good game enjoy playing on the bus.
We love this game so much! But there arent many items so we had some ideas 1:kunai a throwing knife for both characters that you can collect in chapters by defeating enemies 2: this item that is exclusive to tomoe you sometimes get potatoes from killing strong enemies and you can make potato soup healing half your health 3: ninjato this short straight katana is used by the male character forgive us we forgot his name :4 oni mask this mask is an upgrade in chapters and can be worn to increase attack speed thanks for reading! We loved this game hope it helps.
Am blown away. Game is seriously beautiful and fast. NO LOADING on a 14 pro & really fun too. The aesthetics are exactly what ive been looking for in a samurai game. One suggestion!! Would really love more of a story added. Other than that, im very pleased.
This game is just a blast to play and the combat is unique.
We love paying for good games. We did so right away for this one because it started out as a AAA game. But even with paying, there is no way to get rid of ads. They are required for the normal path of the game. Additionally, the game quickly hits paywalls around the 3rd stage where you will need to play impossibly hard enemies hundreds of times to level up your gear to continue. There is no end to the paying. It is, unfortunately a pay 2 win game without an upper limit to the cost Another beautiful game ruined by corporate greed and unethical practices.
The scroll art backdrop is beautiful and the fighting system is great.
Its the best samurai literally on the phone wowwwwww we hope you update this game forever and do not stop update it and thank you for Arabic language all love from Egypt.
Im iranian and loved your game its wonderfull.
We were not expecting this to be so much fun, wow.
We thought this game was too good to be true, but they actually made a mobile game that feels almost exactly like Sekiro. How they did this, both legally and technologically, is beyond us, but Im sure glad they figured it out because this is easily the best mobile game Ive ever played.
Ok so we will rate this a 4 because its a good game and good difficulty but the only problem is that it takes like a year for you to get another character and when you on the second chapter, the last boss is very anoying because our skill doesnt work on it.
It was fun for a while, the difficulty was challenging at times, but manageable, until it wasn't. The inability to move the block and attack button around through settings coupled with their awkward placements and sometimes unresponsive nature has caused the difficulty of the game to spike SIGNIFICANTLY. Also the fact that the parry windows for the later stages are literal .005 seconds and some attacks are impossible to counterflash makes this game infuriating for no reason. Once changes are made to at least being able to modify WHERE we can place the buttons or modifying the counterflash to something manageable we'll consider redownloading.
We have recently switched to iPhone. We have a lot of progress on our previous phone. How to transfer data to this device. Game doesnt have a better option to log in which is universal for both android and iOS.
This game forces you to watch ads to do anything. Not worth it. Either you have to pay real money or be stuck watching a bunch of 30 second ads. DONT GET THIS GAME.
The only currency that has any use is the micro transaction currency, gold is only used for upgrading equipment or what little passive skills there are. Support for the app just links to their Facebook page instead of a legit support system. Other than keep grinding the main storyline for one or two white items and maybe 1000 gold, there is nothing to do. Free rolls to get better equipment are given out once per week. Its sad that No Mans Sky had more content but here we are.
This is one of the best mobile games, we havent seen any forced ads yet, combat, quality, and difficulty is amazing. This game feels like an actual console game, yet its on our phone. A mobile game that actually can be hard, is extremely rare. It feels so much like sekiro too. 10/10 mobile game. It could be our favorite.
Definitely somewhat difficult, but not unplayable so far.
Just picked this game up and we already love it. The combat is sekiro like with the deflects and counterattacks and the combat feels really smooth. Really cool so far would recommend.
This game has hidden potential thats not like other games bc of how much more you have to actually work for your kills they dont jdut come easy.
We like it because our fat Russian friend recommended it.
The game was good, but once we finished the first chapter the server couldnt connect.
The game is fantastic and have cool graphics.
This game has been one of the best game you can find on mobile. But has the potential to have a chat system and multiplayer. Or way to interact with others online besides the scroll messages.
Really fun game easy controls which is nice.
We love this game. The artwork is stunning, like youre looking at a moving fight scene in an ancient scroll. Gameplay is difficult like Sekiro beautiful graphics and overall a great game.
This game is a very good action game.
We love this game so much we play it everyday but would live controller support!!! We have a backbone and play EVERYDAY.
PLEASE PLEASE ADD CONTROLLER SUPPORT RHE GAME IS A 9/10 IT WOULD BE A TEN BUT THERES NO CONTROLLER.
Buff nhn vt n qu mnh, mc d ai cng thch lm chin binh hn l mt c gi.
This game is amazing it is better than the other games on the App Store.
A few days ago we were trying not find a cool fighting game but there werent any that caught our eye until we found this. We recommend this game.

Gameplay: Combat Mechanics: The combat in this game is quite exciting and challenging with a wide variety of enemies to face all with their own weapons and abilities. As you progress, the enemies get stronger and learn more attacks. A balance of new enemies and old enemies with new abilities. While their attack patterns are quite predictable, theres always new enemies to face with different fighting styles. You can collect a wide variety of different items and armors which increase your stats and give you buffs. Each armor changes the look of your character and as you upgrade it, it looks even cooler. Our main complaint is that there are only two different characters to play from and the second character is quite a hassle to unlock. The combat itself involves timing your slashes, parries, and counter attacks. The tutorial does a good job of explaining these mechanics. It takes precise timing and fast reflexes making you feel like a true Samurai. Graphics/Visuals: The game has a very unique art style called ink wash painting which gives it the look and feel of traditional Japanese art. It feels as though the game is being painted across a piece of paper to tell a story rather than being played. Colors fade and bleed into each other. The art style is consistent throughout the game and looks really cool while in battle. Story: Much to our surprise, there isnt really a story to the game. With such a fine art style, cutscenes and character dialogue would be especially cool. But the game lacks both. Despite the lack of a story, its still a solid hack and slash rogue-like game. Two full stars for this category. Performance: From our experience, no major lag or frame rate drops have occurred. Everything seems to run fine. One full star. Controls: The controls are intuitive and simple. There are only three buttons to worry about and theyre all conveniently placed on each side of the screen. One full star. Bugs/Glitches: There was one time the game completely froze after watching an add to gain an extra life which forced us to restart the app and lose our progress which was frustrating. What we think caused the bug was opening the notifications screen on our iPad right before the ad finished playing. Zero stars. Feedback: More content and characters would really give the player more to do. After some time, the game can get a little lack luster. Giving players more insensitive to keep playing is really all it needs. As of right now there are only three different weapons for your first character to collect which really isnt enough.
We have been playing this game for 5 months and for some odd reason it dont really shock us too see that the game will choose not to load and also kill in one hit instead of if being the other way around when our weapon lvl is 11 on stage 2 smh.
Great game please add Backbone support.
