Rite of Passage: Bloodlines will take you to a place thrown into turmoil. The prominent Livingstone family living on a small island is being targeted one by one. We loved this game until the BONUS CHAPTER. We could not pick up anything in our inventory that was passed being seen on the screen. The game took us to the STRATEGY GUIDE every time we tried. Very frustrating and disappointing. Unfinishable.
We just love the Hidden Object games. Lately though with everything going on there are hardly any new games that are coming out for iphone or ipad. We think Ive played every Hidden Object Mystery and Adventure game that has been released. Until we found Mad Head games. Alls we can say is Thank you so very much for putting a game out that has a storyline that you can follow and not have an unbelievable twist in it. The storyline had us hooked from the demo. Usually some of the developers give you a good start but then the plot becomes so far fetched that you forget what the main story is about. Not with this one. The graphics are beautiful, the voice overs are spot on. The games are long and not just an easy guess to solve the puzzles. The length of the game is well worth the money. We see no reason why anyone wouldnt want to pay the price. We did read that one person said that the graphics were to small to see on the iphone so they deleted the game. Too Bad. We do have some trouble seeing games and details on our iphone but we wear our readers and if needed we enlarge the picture where it allows you to find the list of things you need to find. We hope that you will continue to put out these games because they are very enjoyable and the workmanship is EXCELLENT!! Great job! Peytons Gmom 29/22.
Loved the graphics, loved the story line. But at times image was too large and things needed were hidden by the game controls. Hated the find items and put them in their proper places. So frustrating as the items were sometimes too small to ID and wouldnt stick to the place they needed to go.
Its a small criticism but the vomiting sea shell was a bit odd. Also those darned collectible fish are too hard to find.
We did not bother finishing the trial version. Moving through the game was agonizingly slowriding the boat, going down streets, and going back in game to find something. It was not easy to understand which way to go, so we were tapping here, there, everywhere to figure out which street was a real street. Objects to find were TINY. Too much dialogue, boring characters, and too many useless photos to look at. The puzzle of shooting the gun was horrible. We have nothing good to say about this game.
This game is pure pleasure. Everything comes together perfectly. The graphics are terrific, the puzzles challenging, the HOPs varied. This game completely absorbs us. Thank you so very much. We have so many new games for iPad what gifts. We wrote several reviews ( spending hours on them) but they were never posted perhaps we said mask too often? But in them, we thanked Lynx and others for keeping us in the know, keeping us mentally strong. And developers, please know how much your games have saved us during these rough daysallowing us to be engaged and mentally active when we have walked and read, when the isolation grows heavy. Stay wellwe are connected.
Much detail in all scenes with an interesting plot. The hos are very full and a bit difficult so we enjoyed them. Keep them coming. Thanks for your hard work. Wishes for a Happy New Year for all.
Although the game was intrinsically good, we rate objectively and there were so many technical issues that the actual gameplay was miserable. For the steep price charged by Mad Head, the quality assurance should be en pointe, and it wasnt even close! Firstly, lets begin with the good: The game was lengthy, it had an interesting storyline, and a comprehensive journal. The tasks were challenging and enjoyable to complete. There was an excellent mix of HO puzzles and mini-games. We were provided a gimmick in the form of a magical shell. We wont go into details so as not to spoil it for you. On the negative end of the spectrum, the graphics lacked visual acuity and the morphing objects and collectibles were almost impossible to find without straining your eyes. The gameplay interface was almost non-responsive at times, especially when completing the story books. It was almost impossible to find and place the items. The game needed a way more sensitive gameplay interface. It was difficult to acquire, as well as use, inventory items. However, one of the worst errors occurred in a couple of the HO scenes, where text was highlighted and you had to find those items. Well, it turned out that the inventory bar OBSCURED several words, leaving you to guess which items to choose. There is NO EXCUSE for such poor quality assurance. We wont reward incompetence. This game should have been a 5 star game, but the technical glitches have brought our rating down to 3 stars. We dont want to pay such a high price for such a technically flawed game. The developer needs to fix the lack of touchscreen sensitivity. We have written to him, and its basically fallen on deaf ears! Eventually, you guys will have more games (EIPIX is going to launch this week!) and you might not want to waste so much money on problematic games. We dont reward greed. We dont mind paying, but the game had better be lengthy, enjoyable and have perfect quality assurance. So our rating will remain at 3 stars, unfortunately. Happy New Year to all.
Why does it say 25% Launch Discount in app description, but when unlocking it in the app it says 13% discount? Which is it? 25% or 13%.
Graphics are dark and gritty, hard to find images. Puzzle information is vague or some of the puzzle did not work properly. Had to use the hint button a lot. HOH puzzles, the words of images to find, were hidden under the guide button. Does anyone-player someone not envolved in making thegame actually play the game before sending it out. Too many mistakes.
Tried the game on an iphone 8 and objects were way too tiny, so we deleted it. Possibly this would be good on an ipad or larger phone though.
