It just hit us that we had never left a review on this game. We first played this game many years ago we had just started working and that new income meant we felt we now had ( our own ) money to spend. We remember the day we finally purchased this game , after spending days debating whether we should or not. Playing this game you can just feel the time and dedication the developers put into this project. Everything from the art to the music feels so carefully thought out and adjusted over and over again to achieve the perfect gaming experience. The day we finished the last chapter we cried despiste already suspecting how this game would conclude. We cant force anyone to download this game , nor can we alone be the voice of all those looking for a pleasurable mobile gameplay experience but we can say that we have never once regretted downloading this game. From tween us to the us now , this game has always held a place in our heart. P.s. Ty developers. Ill always keep our hopes up for another game from you. In the meantime ill keep searching the app store for a game that makes us feel the way inked had :).

So unique and different from so many games out there, thank you! Geometry, spacial puzzles, and very Escher-esk at times. Great to have a story teller too. Totally enjoyed it, even brought a tear to our eyes at the end. Wonderfully creative.
We are a very casual gamer and often quickly lose interest if it gets boring or too hard. Inked is one of the few games we finished and it was great until the end. Some parts were tricky but we managed to finish everything without hints. Now we have to start again to find all those cards we missed the first time.
Kudos to everyone involved in making this game. This was a lovely casual puzzler, with a lot of heart. We finished it within two days, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Get this game. You wont regret it. There were only 2 puzzles that we have to get hints on. The rest were balanced. Such beauty.

Beautiful game but aspect ratio wasnt correct on iPad. Couldnt get all the paintings in chapter 9 because it was offscreen.
Crashed three times inside of the first three minutes. All you can actually do is tap on the screen and a gray dot appears. You can move around a little, but nothing actually happens. This is a complete waste of money. Not a game, a complete ripoff.

Developer needs to make more levels. When we buy a $5 game we expect to be able to play it for a while. Im honestly quite surprised that it was so short. Please make more levels.

Inked is a delightful experience with puzzles that have just the right amount of difficulty. The art is charming and fits the storyline so very well. With a flawed, arent we all, hero/protagonist who is looking for his lost love. So very charming and unique which is the puzzle experience that we love. Calming peaceful aesthetic game. Reminds us of an interactive children's storybook. Game also has PS4 controller support and works well on M1 Macbook Pro! Thanks for creating this artistic game. Cheers.
Inked is an authentic artwork in an intriguing puzzle game following a story. The drawings sold us on Inked immediately when we saw Inked on the app stores game of the day. We sincerely enjoy the artwork, hand-drawn, detailed scenes, and characters. It is such a unique experience to play the game due to the incredible detail in Inked drawings. While you play the game, you will enjoy listening to a peaceful soundtrack that gets more exciting nearer the end of the game. The audio is perfect, and your character's feet produce noise like walking amid other realistic sounds. Inked's story is somewhat fun. The best part of the story is the narration. It is just enough to keep you feeling like your involved while you play. And Whoever speaks did well. Im 18, and Inkeds puzzles are perfect for us. We don't play other mind/puzzle games often. The feeling we get when we play Inked is that some puzzles are easy, instant gratification, others are more difficult, but we could solve them all eventually. Overall we enjoyed the puzzles. If you can't solve the puzzle right away, give yourself time and think about it, you will achieve it. Inked is simple to play, working perfectly on our iPhone. There are no buttons to push, no complex movements. Just move your character with your finger. Overall, Inked is impressive, especially Inked's drawings. We are satisfied with Inked, it's relaxing, and we finished all chapters in a day. It's like an Asain animation in pen drawing, and we enjoy it tremendously. Inked is worth the small cost to download. We would look forward to more games similar to Inked's sketches in the future. Tips: When you first download the game, ensure you go to settings, toggle ON iCloud save, and high-quality drawings. You only need to do it once.
The game exceeded all expectations in every way, the sound design was incredible, the music was beyond what you could expect even on a AAA title. Storytelling was smooth, but the best of all, the art was a spectacle. We give this game our highest praise 9.5/10.
We love how this game puts our mind together with memories, Im glad we pre ordered this game. We will totally recommend this to our friends.
We rarely write reviews. But there are games that are so apart from the rest, like Gris, Inside, Monument Valley. They elicit an emotional response because of the art, the story, and the gameplay. Inked is up there with those other games. Its beautifully rendered. We cant begin to imagine how they pulled this off using Unity. Plus, it goes to show the best of globalization: quite an international team put this together (if you stay for the credits at the end of the game).

This was one of the best games Ive played. PROS: Art, Music, Challenging, Fun, graphics, story and great value for the cost. CONS: Too short, we cant wait for the next one.

The concept was enough to convince us to pre-order, but the way that the puzzle elements are woven into the world is wholly unique. Its a relaxing, yet immersive experience on a mobile device. Its worth your money. The game doesnt treat you like you dont know what youre doing. Instead, it respects you, and crafts a stylized narrative that keeps you involved.

This is one of those unique games that comes only once every so often. If you are a fan of these story-puzzle-adventure games, then you must play this. This is such a beautifully crafted game its a true work of art. Bravo developers!!!! Youve really outdone yourselves. We would gladly pay double for a sequel. Thank you for this gem!!!! The level of difficulty is just right so didnt even need walkthroughs. Great great game cant praise it enough. Just one bad thing we finished and now have to suffer waiting for the next good game.
We usually dont care much for games with a story, but this was so beautifully done. The art style is fantastic and the story arc was cute enough to follow along but also easy enough to ignore if you dont care for it. The puzzles themselves were fun, albeit not very challenging, but new mechanics were added often enough to keep it interesting. They are also not too complex, so you could easily break up the game into a bunch of small sessions. Some issues we ran into: – Settings menu is in the upper right. Its white and practically invisible and took us way too long to realize it was there, even after the game informed us there were settings – Controls could be wonky. There were a handful of times where the object was snapping to the wrong location when we wanted to be one square over. We thought perhaps the game didnt allow it for one reason or another, but then eventually Id come back to it and get it in the location we originally wanted – Pathfinding occasionally behaved strangely. Id tap on an object a few squares to the right of our character, and instead of moving directly to right, hed try to take a longer path that went up and around and was blocked – Chapter selection doesnt seem to be working correctly. We tried to go back to find all the art and when trying to replay a chapter, it advances to the next/most recent chapter instead. It worked when we replayed chapter 1 but not anymore. The issues we encountered were minor and this is still a five star game. Would definitely recommend it.
Very fun game, each level adds a new element to the game. Definitely a puzzle that makes you think, but not too difficult for the most part. Finished it in 2 days and will definitely play again.
We just finished playing and without spoiling it for anyone else, the ending made us cry a little. The artwork is simple but breathtaking, and very original. The story immediately grabs you, pulls at your heartstrings, and doesnt let go even once the game is completed. The puzzles were just challenging enough to make you think but not drive you to madness. Well done team. Well done. Also, we want to address any negative reviews. Giving this amazing game and the developers ONE STAR just because you got a little frustrated isnt cool at all!!! This game was not difficult to figure out, the tutorial is thorough, and its easy to find the main menu. We actually really appreciate the inconspicuous menu (tiny dot in the upper right hand corner), anything more than that would take away from the artwork. At the risk of being a little mean, you have to have an IQ above 3 to figure it out lol. If you seriously get angry and purposely hurt the rating because you couldnt figure it out, its not the game for you. The game isnt the problem lol.
We finished the whole game within two days and we love the story. We love that we can reload from the check point if we made a mistake. Some level are a bit confusing but we passed after several try. Hope there was in-game hints. (Spoiler alert)Sometimes we think the Artist is too cruel, forcing the hero to do cruel things to the animals. But in the end the hero made the right choice and saved them. This game shows a valuable life lesson that we all can use sometime in our life. Someday we might become like the Artist, but after all we gotta be like the hero and do the right thing, moving on from the tragic that happened in the past, embracing the future with love. Great game.
We had pre-ordered this game back in January based solely on its preview imagery, and, despite its release being briefly delayed, so far, it has been entirely worth the wait. We have completed only a small portion of the game, but already we are utterly in awe of its simple yet stunning artwork, its delicate yet immersive storytelling, and its delightfully calming soundtrack. Although we have only played for less than one day and have completed only a chapter or two, we do not feel our praise is premature nor undeserved. We are not one to rate apps, let alone write a full review, yet we felt we must encourage others wholeheartedly to purchase this engaging and challenging – without being inaccessible or overly complicated – narrative puzzle game. Our advice – take your time with this game, and thoroughly enjoy the detail that the artists have penned into this blue-ink world. Let yourself fall into this game that requires thoughtful execution but encourages quiet, meditative relaxation. We would suggest this game for any age, young or not-so-young (such as ourselves), as it produces instantly enjoyable and exceedingly mesmerizing gameplay. We are justifiably eager and excited to play through the rest of this game to explore and discover all that this charming world has to offer, and we could not recommend this game highly enough to anyone and everyone. Creators, thank you.
First, what a beautiful game. The artwork and detail of the ink drawings are incredible, the game itself if a fun puzzler that, so far, has been challenging but not to challenging to figure out. Well worth checking this one out.
