We have been playing for less than 10 minutes, and already this blows our mind. Graphics, great. Fun game, check. Underrated, CHECK CHECK CHECK! Only ONE PROBLEM. ADS. SO MANY. But at this point, ill play this with ads anytime, even if its kinda absurd. Keep up your amazing work.
This is our favorite game on our phone by far, and we just love it! Our favorite part is the bomb quests because they are just relaxed fun and great music too! If it gets stressful, just turn on the sound and listen to the great music and you will have a great time.
UPDATE: our bad, its $3 to get rid of the ads updated to 5 stars since thats a pretty good price for the amount of game you get Fun game, probably worth 5 stars. But the ads. The ads are AIDS. Genuinely havent seen this many prompts for an ad, maybe ever. If youre looking for an ad watching simulator, this is it! If not, Id pass on this. Edit: holy cow. Went and looked at other reviews and they also complained about ads and this caused the ad amount to be reduced! That means it was even WORSE previously and the reduced amount is what Im SUFFERING to deal with. This is absolutely insane and the epitome of the cancer that is mobile gaming.
This game is really fun to play and it feels nice to power up and well overall just the game itself,but the little dragon boss is getting kind of boring and easy to beat and the game could add some more mini games like the old game boys/game colors overall we will give a 5 star review but please add more functions to the game, Oh and btw this app is crazy underrated.

Easily the most underrated app Ive ever seen. Our friend got us into it and Ive been playing it nonstop. Its so simple but its still so much fun and keeps us entertained constantly. There are ads but not an overwhelming or above average amount. All in all, amazing game. The nostalgic feel makes it feel very personal and we hope it continues getting updates in the future.

This is one of the best games we have ever played in our life. We found this game because we were going on a looooong trip, and this game sounded like a good idea (It was a good idea) Before we knew it, we have 100% the game without realizing how long we played this masterpiece. The bosses do get a bit repetitive, but we saw that you guys updated it recently. Keep up the good work in this game -A big fan.
Its fun and so cute! The only problem we have with it is that there are so many ads, but if youre fine with those its a really good game.
The game is fun and has great vectors that make the design pop. Like retro gaming device where you had to start over if you died since there was no memory or save state. (1) considering adding an optional setting (enabling checkpoints) for players who dont like retro progress gaming (2) please add option to change app icon ( provide different styles (dark, light, color, ect) (3) the ads are overused. We get ads help provide income but having an ad that plays the timer ends you click the x then it takes you to another screen that adds another 15-30s then after you finally click done and X. Get back to the game just to get sent immediately into the same ad. No. Ads are simple 30s-1m and then its done. These layered ads are nonsense. Its mental torture. Be bigger then layered ads, subscriptions. Thats all. Thank for the game.
We live everything about this have BUG the left flipper often has a delay in responding. We thought we were missing some easy shots at first but after some testing its clear the left flipper frequently has a delay after tapping the screen. Ive yet to encounter an issue with the right flipper so thats kind of odd. Im playing on an iPhone 13.
So glad we found this game! The developer did an excellent job with this. The visuals are so good that we forget Im on our phone, it feels like Im playing on a vintage gaming device. The controls are flawless, very easy to use. And the action is fast-paced yet not stressful, because of different boosts you can use. Everything about it is just extremely well done and makes for an enjoyable and nostalgic experience. We immediately paid the fair IAP to remove ads, and support the developer, which makes the game even better because you go from level to level quickly with no interruption, and for boosts you dont have to watch ads either, you can just collect the rewards by clicking a button. Its just super fair and well done. The progression is really enjoyable too. This is now our go-to game when we have a few minutes here and there. Its so easy to pick up and play. Thank you developer for doing this all right. Dont change a thing, its perfect! We highly recommend this game.
Bricky boy is spectacular honestly. We think the most refreshing part of it is the ability to remove ads for free. It removes ALL ads. We were expecting to still have to see them if we wanted to use boosts. Honestly though do yourself a favor and get the ad free version first if you have the spare cash. Earning cosmetics is a lot of fun because of how good the art is for their virtual console. We think they nail the feel of the older game and watch style games. We do have some minor gripes less so annoyances and just kind of minor changes id want made. The bomb the bricks sections need some stakes. Id appreciate a timer or having the bombs also take health like the normal balls do. Some of the changes after removing ads are just clunky. Previously to get triple coins youd watch an ad as a boost. Now you just hit a button to triple the coins, but its a bit jarring as opposed to just automatically tripling the coins we get. Overall great game, a great example of what a mobile game can be. It utilizes a lot of the strengths of being a mobile game. We hope the devs are well and keep making more stuff.
We dont really care for phone games, but we love this one. Im a big pinball fan (the machine and the windows vista ones haha), so we love that aspect. Took us like 10 minutes to decide to buy it (aka get no ads). We love decorating bricky boy we hope he gets more lewks in the future. And maybe give him more head space! Cant see some of the bigger decorations cause his forehead is too small lol. We would also love to see more variety in the bosses in the future! But as it is, 10/10 for sure.

Everything about this game is just perfect, we love the little bit of whimsy tossed in byway of the little face at the top, we love the levels because they dont really feel that repetitive and its not to easy and not to hard. BUT one gripe we have is that you should be able to change the background, and we mean the little pink bit (haha) over and under the brick boy, we personally would like it to be just black because we feel like that would make it more immersive but we think people should be able to chose other than that frickin fantastic.

This is the perfect pick up, play for a few minutes, put our phone back in our pocket kind of game. The skins are fun, the noises are awesome, but the ads are annoying. We like how you have a free option to remove ads, but we want to just pay for it. You deserve the few bucks and Im too lazy to watch all those ads. However, the button to buy the no ad version doesnt work, it just says purchase was cancelled when we click it. How do we fix this.
This is honestly one of the best iPhone games Ive ever played. Im so impressed with the graphics and design, as well as the entertainment level. Even though youre playing sort of the same levels until you die there are great side quests and enough random games in between to keep you entertained and not bored. We always get bored of iPhone games quick as theyre usually too repetitive. Also love the nostalgia design its so comforting and cute and doesnt even feel like Im playing on our phone. Like its a real Bricky boy!! Great offline play too for on airplanes. No ads in offline, although you do have to skip a lot of prizes since they often require you to view an ad first, but we dont feel like we missed much this way game play wise. Kept us entertained an entire flight and we even got asked by our seat mate what we were playing! Great work.

Takes us back to our game boy obsession of decades ago. The controls and game play are straight forward. Fun mini game within the main one. Breakout and pinball combined, with a hint of Mario.
This game is great but some recruits would be nice and we dont think there will be anything to do after getting all the skins so some new content for that would be nice for long time players.

This game is so much fun and we love the little details like the cosmetics for bricky boy. However the addition of the free removal of ads after watching 15 ads is absolutely brilliant. We were able to do exactly that in a couple of days and now im excited to play this every day. Thanks for this and the monocle is jst perfection! :).
We really love this game its is very like pinball with a twist even if your not into pinball type games you can still really get stuck play this all the time with cool boss fights and quests this is an amazing game.

Just started playing recently and we love it! Something about it feels so nostalgic and comfy. We are lovin it so far- our new favorite casual game to grab when we have some time to kill. We hope there will be future updates to keep the game fun and maybe change it up so it doesnt get too repetitive, because we really enjoy it right now and would love to see this game thrive ^_^.
We made it to level 69 yesterday and hadnt even used our continue yet. It takes a really long time to get that far! Please update so we can continue where we left off. Super fun game.
Some suggestions: the ball effect should be carried to another level? More boss and boss attack? Currently the game is less challenging.
The game is fun and we enjoy playing it, but the bosses seem to easy to defeat, especially the dragon where you get special rewards. Then also it would be nice if the game paused the ball when one spawns till you tap the screen so youre ready.
We love this game but Im leaving three stars instead of 5 because the advertisements are annoying & have caused ball glitches, freezing, or game failures/crashes. We like the new update a lot but some of the same issues are reoccurring. We made it up to level 60 but an advertisement couldnt properly load which made the screen turn black so we lost our place. We had to reload/refresh the game. We couldnt finish the 60th level & got bumped back to level 1 which is very frustrating. We have lost balls/hearts too whenever the game malfunctions causing the left & right flipper to stop working while Im pushing or hitting them with our fingers. Please fix these problems so we can give you 5 stars.
Youll have a lot of fun with this game for a few hours, but after a few runs it becomes very repetitive without much variety, the bosses get old, and there isnt much to do, the game could be amazing if it received regular content updates, but it seems like development on it is dead.
The button to get rid of the ads wont work.
Even if you click the no thanks option when given a choice to watch an ad they still force you to watch an ad.
We got this game a few months ago, and it was great! Then there was an update that made it have TONS of ads, but recently they dropped the ad count way down and its back to being amazing as the devs add more content, now we have all but the diamond skins and daily styles. Keep up the great work.
