Ive been playing this game for over 3 years now and love it! Its our favorite mobile game. However, we have been stuck on level 178 for a few months now due to a game glitch. We reached out to support and they were unable to help. We can still play the events which is great, but will be unable to move on in the main game which is unfortunate.
This is truly a go to idle game. Is even a good game to introduce you to playing idle games for the first time.
We paid to have the ads removed & theyre still popping up. Save your money, this game is a ripoff.
Its a bad sign when we have to upgrade a character 5 times in a single episode just so we can automate that one location. Devs are getting greedier each day and greatly increased the requirements to get thru each season. In no world should it take a whole week to get thru a single season. Uninstalling asap and putting this dev on our scammer list. Doesnt even deserve a single star. The idea of the game was stolen from other sources cause this dev or group lack any cognitive ability to create anything original.
Ive noticed that when we open the app and watch the add to double up what Ive earned, its not doubling the amount. Other than that it does that a while to finish a level the higher the season.
Good way to pass time/blow off steam, However when it comes to the upgrades its not always accurate, if it says it will increase the income up to x10 it will be accurate but if its anything over that it only doubles or triples the income, speed as well.
It was fun at first. Didnt care for the dialogue/story, frankly. It was an ok time waster. We originally liked playing the events, but that ultimately is why we uninstalled the game. Im convinced the algorithm for what cards you get (in events) is fixed. When we needed x amount of cards to upgrade, Id constantly get cards we already had. Oh, but we can purchase a gold crate (or whatever they were called) for 100 ice diamonds. Cool. Welp, pulled more cards in already had. Oh, out of ice diamonds? Why not purchase some for (a stupid amount of money imo) to get more? Or watch another ad (always the royal match ones for 30-50 seconds) for peanuts. Wow, cool. Btw, getting more ice diamonds for free you have to complete tasks in the events to get them, so depending on the algorithm, good luck. We get most games are like this (meant to make money by ads and in game purchases) but it got old quick. Also, forget being in the top 50 for events unless you purchase the crates and happen to get lucky with cards. Also we had to turn the music off because no matter what event or anything youre in, it was the SAME MUSIC . We also did a free ice diamonds thing by downloading a game. We were supposed to get 150 free diamonds, but never got any even tho we completed the task and said so within the game. We played maybe 4-5 months. Im good.

Super fun game but the ads are annoying. Whenever we watch one, it freezes at the end and we cannot collect the reward. We have to close the app and then maybe itll work. Frustrating when Im trying to first place in the events. Otherwise, fantastic game.

We like the game a lot, but forcing players to spend premium currency even during a tutorial is pretty slimy.
We were enjoying the old balance of the game, you need to idle a bit but with many events you never gets boring. But the event balance is horrible. We get that this game needs to make money, but seriously? We hate that even if you tried you only half of the milestone rewards. If you dont want people to earn rewards, then just dont give it. Before it feel so much better, you can see theres a chance to clear out the rewards, then other people can fight for the ranking. But this time isnt, we were checking on the rank find out most people just like us dont have a chance to clear out. Very disappointing.
The games alright. You can get by without spending money. But you guys really to work on your multiplication skills. If something does from x216 to x12916 Its not gonna go up by being multiplied by 10 smh.
Ive been playing this game for a while and would watch ads for bonuses and boosts, but over the past week, the ads seem to have gotten longer. The first one we saw this morning was a minute long and that was followed by another fifteen second countdown. What gives.
Before the big update a couple months ago we were able to finish almost every challenge game. Now Im only making it to half. It feels like if we dont pay to win we wont make it through them.
Well we liked this game a lot until a few minutes ago when we figured out that the Events you can play that feel like theyre against other people are a total lie. Even though there is a Global leaderboard, they are all fake players designed to get you to spend real money to compete. Games that do this should be banned or forced to expressly say that you are not actually playing against other people, but against fictitious accounts and forged scores. Thank GOD we dont spend money on games like this.
We went to open the app and check our event. The game deleted all our progress. It was like we just installed it for the first time. We had thousands of bottle caps we were grinding for. Thankfully we never spent any money on it. All the progress gone. We were on season 16 or 17 and now Im on one. Thats ridiculous.
Stop shoving the cursed tutorial down our throat and let us play the game. Also give us back the 139 gems you stole from us by forcing us to buy things in store.
We love this game and as we progress through it we play even more than we usually play a game! Last week our screen time went up 68% from the 32% it was at just playing the game! It gets more and more fun as you play it and we love that they keep adding the updates and we cant wait for what will come next to this awesome game! Keep up the great work.
We see developer responses on other ratings saying the tutorial is short. Im on season 4 and its still having cutscenes every minute or so and forcing us to click what they want First season we understand, but end it there, or give the option to skip. This is an idle game like 50 others on here, we dont need such a long intro to teach us how to play it we promise.
Fun game but you have to watch a ton of adds to make any progress. There are periods where ads are not available and you will miss out on a reward you need to make progress in the game. This is most frustrating in the events where you only have 1-4 days to complete. If you fall behind early in the event because an ad is not available there is no way to complete the event.
Most of the time is taken up by 3 things. 1:cutscenes that are absolutely stupid 2:random characters popping in to spout some useless info 3: that stupid little arrow that doesnt let you click anywhere else and forces you to spend materials to move past it we could look past the cutscenes and random butt ins if it wasnt for them CONSTANTLY having a very noticeable red arrow telling you where to click. This is a 17+ game but they act like we are fresh out the womb.
Previously ads watched to help gain resources in the game would play for 30 seconds newest release serves over a minute long ads making the game far less enjoyable to play.

Idle Distiller, to its credit, has more effort put in than most other tycoon games. But if you want any chance at being competitive in any of the events youll have to watch so many ads to get the premium currencies.
We cant collect the rewards from watching ads.
We understand the need for ads but, this is excessive.
We would love an option to remove ads for a fee.
We love the game. But the ads are too numerous and tiresome. You have to watch ads to get extra idle money, earn bonuses, etc. We spend more time watching ads than we do actually playing the game. Id like the game more (and would give it 5 stars) if it had an option to pay a one-time fee and be ad free.
We enjoy this game, and play constantly while at work or studying. However, we are logged in at least eight hours a day while at work (to get the caps and pelicans) and play throughout the day. The events are nearly impossible to crack the top 50 unless you pay your way. This current event, Im in 96th place and have played more than we care to admit.
This is a fun addicting game but we really wish there was an pay option to remove the ads. If you want more bottle caps (ad), want 2x (ad) want free gems (ad) we can only do that so many times before it starts to bother us and we stop playing the game.
Even if you spend $20 to make the prize at the end someone its always going to pass you. One day you are in the top 3, the other day you are in 35th position, wait more 2 hours (playing constantly), and you will be in 56th position in the challenge. Spend you money and keep doing nothing changes.

Theres very little to do when leveling up. You mostly have to wait it out until youve saved enough cash for an upgrade. Adjustments to resource allocation dont really seem to be rewarded vs. Just waiting the clock out.
We dont write reviews often, but we genuinely love this game. Its constantly got us coming back to it to check every few hours or so to see if Ive got enough money saved up for a big customer bonus. The base game can take a bit to go through each season, but the events that they have going on the side (which happen ALL the time, we dont think Ive ever gone more than 20ish minutes without one) help keep you more engaged. Im also just a sucker for big numbers, so seeing the money count climb higher and higher always gets us in a good mood. Overall, get this game; its fun, the gameplay keeps itself fresh with events, and each season has a new story, so you get to look forward to that too.
This game is a great way to waste time and its addicting too! Big problem with the game and one of its only problems is that caps are incredibly difficult to get. Watch a 30 second ad just to only get 30 caps while upgrades cost so many caps, it doesnt even feel worth your time. We advice the devs to make a more efficient way of getting them. Maybe by giving 100 caps per ad? Maybe by just making it so you get more than 10 caps for a crate? Not joking, youll open a crate that took forever to get and only receive a few caps (while upgrades can take HUNDREDS of caps). Overall great game potential, just wish they didnt pressure you to spend real money so much by making the game so difficult to earn currency. This would be a 4-star review if things were different and theyd probably get more players.
This is a fun game for awhile,but the bottle cap system doesnt really work and it turns the game from a game to just watching ads. When you only needed 100 caps to upgrade its fine but when you get to 500 caps you need to watch so many ads just to play the game. There needs to be a better system to get caps.
It literally doesnt matter if you pay it still constant ads. Itd be a friggen GREAT game if it werent for the fact you cant even buy your way out of ads. Fine we gotta drop a dollar or two to not deal with ads fine. But Ive put more than $10-$20 into this game.nothing. As soon as it was paid Im another guy whos paid nothing. DO NOT DOWNLOAD.

Good waste of time, but it seems like the events arent giving out the statue tickets correctly. The last one seemed to suggest 10 tickets for completion but we only got 2. WTH.
We are on the part of the quest where you buy a crate but we cant scroll down to see it. If it could be fixed it would make the game a 5 star but till then it is a 3.
How did we know the events on this game was gonna be freakin stupid we mean seriously this is not an idle quit freakin calling it idle games if it doesnt idle, you cant even freakin automate any of the freakin distillers in the event which is freakin stupid why do you people call these games idle if it doesnt idle like it says you should jus call it distiller or somethin like that.

We like this game. Play it as much as we can. Usually drain battery while playing it. Just a few things. Certain ads when they finish go to black screen and we have to reload game. And if you could add adblockers. Many games like this Ive played you pay to get rid of ads. Dont mind paying it. Especially since some ads tend to black out the screen completely. Just a thought.
We tried to link it to our Facebook to get the free diamonds and lost all progress we have already made.
