Community Insight:

Fun game. Miss the old music though. Cant play with the new music. Have to turn it down.

At first, the little voices were kind of fun and quirky. Overtime Ive started to get kind of sick of them, especially the one that tells you to hurry up if you stop to think for a few seconds. It seems super inappropriate to add something that pushy to a game where you might wanna think.

Didnt play this game a long long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long, long long long time.

This is our go-to zone-out game and then you up and changed the music, with no option to play with the original theme. UGH!!! No updates for three plus years, which is fine when the game is simple and still works perfectly, and now this with no warning and no good reason. Let people have things they enjoy without messing with them.

You need to be fast for this game, maybe can be our new hobby.

Its like the ideal phone game. Easy to pick up and play for just a few minutes, rules and gameplay are very simple yet challenging. Sometimes reminds us of Tetris because of how they both have such fast, simple, and addictive puzzle gameplay.

We love this game its simple and complex Im still trying to find out who is 384 ! Note for developers: Please add controller support! We have the backbone + and this game would feel so much better if it supported it.

We dont have many games on our phone but this is perfect if you have a few minutes (or more) to kill and want something fun, simple, but challenging at the same time.

Whats the difference between the original and this.

This game is so great, it includes math and education. We highly recommend this app for students.

We have to admit, initially figuring out how to play the game was hard, but once we figured it out we couldnt stop. Ive never played with the sound effects on, so not sure why so many complaints about the sound. Just turn it off. Would enjoy being able to see the highest score someone has received.

Many people are complaining about the sound effects. You can turn them off.

We like this game a lot. It looks great and the soundtrack is nice. We saw a few people complaining about the sounds, and we agree, but of course they can be turned off. A few things that would be nice to have would be a separate section for past scores, and an option to have most of the sound effects, but not the voices. We also noticed that we cant seem to get the leaderboard to update. Im not sure if this is a problem with the game itself or a Game Center problem. Anyways, thanks for making this.

Love this game, its part strategy and part luck of the draw! We like that they are mostly quick little games that are challenging, keep you engaged, but dont take up a whole lot of time. Only complaint is that we finally scored above 8,000 and it wont update us on the leaderboard. Silly complaint, but what keeps us engaged is our rank, right now its only listing us with our score in the 3000s, so all our strategies to get a higher score are somewhat pointless if we cant go up in rank. Maybe just a small bug, but hopefully developers see this and check it out. Could also just be our account, but will boost to 5 stars when we can get properly ranked! ;).

Good game overall, sometimes its a little frustrating or boring.

But can we play without the screen to sign our game every game? Every game. We play offline we think thats why it constantly asks. The games are over quickly. There is an added challenge of color tiles so games last about :90 seconds. Then add :15 or so seconds to swipe through the force sign-your-board screens, and then swipe through to get to a new game (called replay). It feels less like playing a game and more like (gasp!) work.

Fun game but for some reason our highest score isnt showing up on Game Center.

What is up with all of the annoying voices? They add absolutely no value to the game at all. They sound like place holder effects or something. Luckily you can disable them! Other than that, this is a very good time killer.

We want the game to respect our device automatic dark mode switching and it is highly disappointing that this still hasnt been fixed. It makes us not want to play it at night cause we dont want to deal with getting our eyes blasted before changing themes.

The game itself is great. The high score and leaderboard seems to be stuck since the first time we played it though. Nothing we can do to make it update.

Our high score was over 7000 for a while but would always show up as 3000+. Eventually beat that and it did update but now Ive gone well over 20,000 and it still has us and only 8000+ as our high score. Super addicting and we have a lot of fun playing it, but the high school issue does take away from the fun.

We how the game tells you the next tile you will get using the tiles color. But, the duration of each game/round are not long. Our longest game was about 90 seconds long. The game is okay, as it is something to do. BUT!!! The sound effects are just an absolute NO! We see a lot of other reviews mentioning how they can be turned off/disabled/muted. And yes they can be. BUT, that does not mask the fact that the sound effects are still annoying and a few sound very questionable. For example: Why is one of the sound effects of a person moaning?! Also, the sound effects obviously do not flow with the game at all, and some are uncomfortable and disturbing.

At the end of each round you have to option to post or text your score to people. This pops up as if you clicked it every single time. We assume the developer wants you to accidentally share. God we hope this is not a trend with mobile games.

It could be a lot of fun but this game is furiously frustrating. Its really not worth playing. It changes its tactics in order to defeat you. If youre into that before you start, youll have infinite hours of fun. Its like youre in the 12th round of a fight and you feel like youre winningjust keep doing what youve been doing and then they put in a fresh fighter. Any time you have an advantage, it changes gameplay in order to beat you. Fun for a while but then feels like cheating. Try it, youll seeits inevitable.

We love this game and hate it at the same time its addicting but its a never ending, losing battle.

  1. We cannot find how to stop the sign in at the end of every single game. We play without GameCenter turned on. 2. Theres no Undo function. 3. Too much swiping to simply go to a new game.

Overall a great game but the sound effects are extremely off putting. Not a fan.

Cant play if you slide app over. Game doesnt load. Dragging it up from the Dock to side position distorts the game field.

The game looks great from the art to the music, however, the algorithm they use to place tiles does not make for great gameplay after reaching higher numbers. The board is constantly filled with ones and twos to the point where entire corners of the board are entirely one number, even if the player has been doing everything available to them. The total randomness, in our opinion, lowers the fun aspect of the game.

Is the worst and most annoying sound effect we've encountered. Thankfully you can turn it off. But we wish we can still keep the swoosh noise. But wow… Whose idea was it to use those annoying voices.

We've never been a fan of games that insult you or tell you to hurry up, basically ruined this being something we could enjoy. More so as we get ill often and just want something nice to chill out and enjoy without artificial pressure and whining.

What is the point, how can win? Many reviews say the same no updates, plus how can you win when you get 10 1s in a row.. Or 10 2s? Y=.

First: this game is beautiful. The graphics are adorable and cute. The sounds and music are fun and well thought out. Unfortunately, the game is mostly based on luck. After playing for a very long time, we can take a look at our stats and see a constant distribution of scores over time not an improvement. Thats not a failure to get better on our part its the game. This SEEMS like a game of skill, and to a certain score level it can be, but it is largely controlled by luck. The gameplay engine / AI / NPC (whatever you want to call it) is super crummy and unforgiving. Maybe youll get four or five 1 or 2 cards thrown at you all at once, or a super high number card followed by a stack of low numbers. It doesnt adapt to your gameplay or situation AT ALL. To make matters worse, theres no game mechanics to help you out when youre in a corner no undo mechanism, no special moves nothing. Not that it would need a special mechanic IF the gameplay engine was actually better. The developer seems to have abandoned the game too except for showing up to cash out on an Apple Arcade deal there havent ever been any updates ever at all Im terribly disheartened, because we want to love this game so much.

The tutorial isnt helpful. Whats wrong with writing instructions.

2048 works because its 2s. By the game generating 1s and 2s to get to the initial 3 it leaves a lot of it to luck Also the swipe only moving one space just dumbs it down and makes it easier to manipulate the board. Not sure why apple doesnt just make 2048+.

Lets be honest, we play games like this to see if we can beat our friends scores. Well in two weeks the leaderboard on Game Center hasnt updated once so whats the point.

The game is fun, but we dont like the interface. Its super easy to fat finger a move and theres no undo. And you cant seem to just start a new game. So we end up swiping blindly to end the game just to start a new game. And we hate that it says Retry instead of new game. And the gallery of all your previous games. We feel like Im being manipulated to jump through more hoops when we really just want to play a game.

Its a fun enough game but we cant get past the strange sounds that these blocks make. Its creepy and off putting. Who in there right mind thought it was a good idea to make them sound that why.

Somehow this game has gotten worse since the last time we wrote a review. Now it just throws out all 1s or all 2s, effectively ending the game. We used to make decent scores, but now we barely get anything above 10k, because itll send you five 1s in a row, a few higher numbers, one 3 and then five 2s. No point in strategy, because the back to back to back to back to back 1s or 2s will keep coming until you lose. Not enjoyable anymore.

We like the game but the app keeps freezing up on our iPad every 3-4 games played. We have to power our iPad completely off and back on again to get it to unfreeze and be able to start a new game.

We cant figure out what to do in this game. Seems like a lot of guessing. The start up instructions were bad.

Its obnoxious the way Game Center constantly interrupts. We cannot find option or setting to stop this – not in app, not in Settings for app nor for Game Center. Also, this game eats up our ipads battery in no time.

This game tries to increase its rating on the App Store by adding terrible cards in each game which force players to play again in hopes that theyll win, thereby increase its screen time usage. Also drains your battery.
