Grim RPG is a Roleplaying/Simulation game from TopCog LLC, first launched in 4th August 2021.
It’s rated 9+ and currently has 52+ ratings on the App Store.
What Makes Grim RPG Stand Out
You cleave your way through the Monster Hordes, a Hungering Axe in your left hand and a Grim Blade in your right…and about a dozen assorted Swords, Maces, Hammers, Crossbows, and Staves in your backpack. You know. Just in case you need them! An Ash Demon falls before you, then a Cyclops and a Stone Golem. Finally you face a hulking Mighty Revenant – the battle is great, but the spoils are greater: a Divine Gleaming Slicer is now yours. As you swap it out with your Grim Blade, you get a message in your head, almost as if from another world…it says:

Like we just wanna know if we should still play this because we dont see any updates in the App Store.
Change that purple to a pure black and then you wouldnt even notice its not the correct screen ratio for newer phones.
Must agree to terms that cannot even be read (404).
So simple yet so fun. We love the strategy involved, yet its something we can relax playing. Progressing is satisfying, and we really enjoy the gameplay loop. Looking forward to playing for many hours more.
How do we restore a Gem Box purchase? When we change our phone.
Im really enjoying this game but theres is a serious lack of storage due to the way settings/options are done. What would normally be under a settings menu ie toggle music on and off are an item in your bag, we cant continue to move on with blue print discovery due to lack of storage.
Im thoroughly enjoying figuring this game out and its mechanics. It doesnt hold your hand, yet we never felt like we were lost. This is a unique gem.
A brilliant incremental game. If you are a fan of this genre, you should definitely try this out.
We love the inventory management aspect of this game which is really unique and interesting for an idle game! It reminds us a ton of tap wizard 2 by this same dev which Ive also been absolutely loving. Im really excited for future updates to this game as its such a unique take on an idle game that really makes it stand out from the rest.
Ive enjoyed this gem quite a bit. Loot shoots out and you plug it in to a gridthe goal is to continually optimize as each weapon gives bonuses depending on adjacent items. No restrictions, just better/worse values. Its surprising addictive and each prestige brings slightly more complexity. Unlocks break the fourth wall in a fun way, and inventory management is key. Most Recommended.
Ive played hundreds of idle games over the years, and this is easily in the top five. It can be daunting at first, but everything makes sense, we promise. New features (including the settings!) are unlocked as the game progresses, which can dramatically change gameplay and strategies over time. Unlocks also begin to automate the grind, but use of those features is entirely optional, based on placement of the item, so you can match gameplay to your favorite play style. Core to the game is a forgiving puzzle mechanic around placement of weapons to maximize damage, then progressive forms of prestige to restart the game and progress faster. Ive found ourselves playing for hours at a time, not even noticing the time passing. Theres a sense of discovery and exploration which is rare in an idle game. Be willing to think outside the box and try new things.
There should be a tutorial so people know to use the stamina potion to continue. Also you should let people know that they can research with the book to automate the game! Great game otherwise.
Looks promising but every 2-3 minutes combat just stops until we force quit and reopen game. IPad mini 5 plz fix.
We do enjoy it! Though we could use a little more guidance because im not entirely sure on some of the item descriptions, but overall this is a pretty solid game so far and im excited for whats to come.
Do you like that part of Diablo where you have to mess around with your inventory to keep it organized and optimal, but hate the rest of the gameplay? This game is for you.
