Okay so we love the game, great mechanics, we have a great time playing. Our only problem is the app (NOT THE WEBSITE ONLY THE APP) crashes allllll the time, Ive had to delete the app entirely so we can play on our mobile browser. Other than that though we really love this game.
Been playing this game for years, but we have come upon what we feel is a major bug. The app seems to need restarted every other action we make in game because the game freezes up. We have an iPhone 13 Pro Max with no issues. It shouldnt be doing that.
We are unable to tap on anything after the app loads. Once it opens, we cannot navigate to our notifications, nation page, or anything else. Please fix this giant problem.
Big nations have nothing against smaller nations but will atttack them because they dont like there social policies or they want to get badges we joined in 2024 and wanted to set our social policies to fascist because its hard to do after that every nation is trying to attack us simply because of that and we wont there allliamce you have to join an alliance and be willing to contribute your life to it to thrive in this game and unlike nation states we cant cant create our own without points a So the nation thats attack us first starts with zombie and rises with Springfield.
We love the game but theres a problem thats been annoying for a while. For the first couple minutes the game works fine but then the whole game freezes and whatever we press or touch it shows yellow but the screen stays the same. When we refresh the game its fine but then it happens again.
We love the game but the app be freezing or getting stuck in a page all the time man. You buy one improvement and then it freezes but u can still scroll up and down. Wont let you buy more improvements unless you close app.
The game is always freezing which is making it difficult to play.
The app was fair at best. Ever since 3 days ago it just loads to the Home Screen and doesnt respond to any buttons that is clicked. We had to go back to the browser to play. Such a shame that the developers cant afford (wont pay for) a better app. With all of the monthly donations it receives.
So people have been saying they have trouble signing in and it's because you have to sign in on PC so yeah. Overall the game is pretty fun.

We love this game been playing since early 2021, we just wish there was more RP elements we like the world news but wish other things could be added. But overall a good game thanks Alex and P&W crew.
It's a great game that gives you the insight into building a successful government. Thing is, the latest update doesn't even let us attack in wars because we're supposedly in debt. We're actually not in debt and we know because in our resources link it does not say -2, or any number with a minus before it. Please fix this, and players, in the meantime, just use the browser version.
It might just be us not knowing how to do it but when we click on the tutorial it doesnt do anything if we could figure out how to use the tutorial then it would be a five star, still a great game though.
So Im going to preface this by saying we really enjoyed the game itself. Reminds us of an old nation state we played in browser years ago. The problem is in order to get anywhere in the game you have to join an alliance or spend money to gather resources. So we did that. The alliance said it was a chill and easy going atmosphere. So we join and had to join discord which we dont like using in itself. We join and immediately theres a test. Basic stuff on if youve read the rules of the game. We easily passed and was accepted. Things were fine. They give you alliance objectives and we were crushing them. Then real life happened and we missed logging in for one day. We come back on the next day and Im being absolutely roasted for lack of dedication and that our application was rescinded and Id have to start all over again including all our objectives we did complete being wiped out and starting all over again. It was at that point we stopped caring about the game because any community who takes a game so seriously youre treated like garbage because life happens just isnt worth playing. We deleted our nation and our account. Great premise but you should be able to become successful without needing to join toxic communities that want you to commit all your free time and then send their entire alliance after you for missing one day. Just not worth getting involved with unless you like that sort of thing.
Great job with the game! Would love to maybe to see more resources like gold and/or water.
You get so much disease and hospitals barely do anything.
Why cant it just be where we want 3 improvement slots it tells us the price and we buy it.

This game is good, the only reason we gave it a three star is because all the land is radioactive. We cant get food without buying it. Dont even try making farms because all it will do is take your money. To get anywhere you have to join an alliance, and most alliances require discord. Which we dont like using at all. Most of the time raiders will milk you at of your resources and money because its the only way to get money, other than trading and logging in daily. Make beige longer for 30 days like last time, and most of the time people wont be able to fend for themselves if its their first time. Everything else? Good. Great.
We cant log in because it says either our password or email is wrong but Im using the right one our phone has written down and we cant make a new account or else Ill get banned.
Great game, very immersive, only thing we would suggest is more in depth land warfare.

We used to play this game a while back and got pretty good at it. We wasnt an og player or anything but we got passed the hardships of being new. For the most part the game was really fun and it taught us patience and strategy. But the reason why we left is that the fact that you had to join an alliance regardless if you wanted to or not it you risked getting raided non stop. And whats worse is that in the game population did not determine your military size, the number of cities you have does. We remember getting into a raid war with a pirate once with 20 cities while we had only 11. But our population was 2/3rds bigger than theirs and they were able to have a troop count almost boasting 1million while we were only able to get 250,000! We would alway get trampled by this broken system in wars even though we would have superior infrastructure, economy, and population. Also we think the war system also needs to be over hauled because it literally always comes down to who can throw more soldiers into the war. Having a superior economy and population rarely ever won wars for us. It became so much of a headache that it wasnt fun anymore and it was just us waiting to see how the next guy who was using the city exploit can screw us over. And dont get us started on every one throwing nukes everywhere like it a foot ball!!! Now dont get us wrong. We really have high hopes for this game. It can be so much better than it currently is but the way it is right now, we dont think Ill come back.
Apple Vis claims that this game works with voiceover, but when we went to install it and hit the starter game link, it did not do anything from that point, at least not anything that voiceover could tell. If this game was accessible at one point in time, it has been broken and needs fixing.
This game honestly surprised us with how good it is and the alliance we are in is very nice and we are having no problems getting stronger. It has only been like 7 days since we started playing and we cant put down our phone because of how engaging the game is the only complaint we have is that when we buy say a farm or increase a baseball players stats it sends us all the way to the top of the screen so we have to constantly scroll all the way back down. But besides this the game is very fun and we like how it protects new players from attacks :).
This is the closest we have ever seen a game come to a political massive multiplayer game, it is wonderful, it takes a bit of commitment as it is a very time sensitive game, to the point it doesnt feel like a game but another outlet of our life, Ive met friends here and we work with them to play this game successfully and it is just so thrilling, you could play the market, farm resources, raid, etc. At first it is a little confusing and can get boring but where it gets fun is when you mix discord in, its a whole other outlet of the game. Yes there are some toxic people on it and they are annoying but some of the fun of the game is that the community has the power to deal with problems like that, and they have. If your considering getting started, it is a great choice, find you niche in it and the game feels like a whole virtual world.
We have only played for a bit and already noticed that it doesnt work that well with phone users (unless Im missing something).
We WANTED to love this & we probably wouldve as its exactly the sorta game we want however we honestly just couldnt figure out how to get going. We feel like a 5 minute or less tutorial would be great but just being thrown in without knowing what anything does we were beyond lost & we just couldnt recover:.
We created a nation yesterday and tried to login in and its saying our email address or password is incorrect when we know its not.
Wont let us log in keeps us on bot screen and is unresponsive.
First off we cant get started because it says we got the wrong email and we got it correct so this is the main reason why am we are deleting this game so you better fix this error or Im giving you a one star again.

Bro we just started downloading this and went in and this game loading to dam long, Like we Waited 3 minutes and it still dont do anything.

If you dont agree to be a tax farm you will be blackmailed and raided for the remainder of the time you play. Only game that lets higher ranked members attack lower members. No restrictions to protect new players and this is why the turnover rate is off the charts.
The buttons to buy an improvement don't show up.
You ever drove you truck half drunk blaring Morgan wallen or Cody Johnson down an old back road at 3am, after smashing a team of frat girls at beer darts then smashing them? Well politics and war is nothing like that in fact its a grind its more like simping over a female and everytime you get close to smashing she friendzones you however you keep doing it because you love the chase. Your gonna grind this game out your gonna love it your gonna get frustrated but your gonna come back for more because when you finally get the cookie youve been chasing its worth it and just as sweet as you thought it would be. Also when you download this masterpiece join Odyssey and message the leader for moral support bc we dont give free money.
Community is very toxic and racist . A lot of the big alliances are crook they tax their member way too much when they dont tax themselves. If youre new youll never get into powerful position in an alliance because no way theyre gonna let u win over their long term friends that they know since 2015. Thats why all leader top 10 AA play since 2015 or 2016. Only alliance we like is Aargh because no tax ! Any tax higher than 10% its too much and average Is 30%/30% . Also we were raiding a nation because he was an inactive applicant for a week. We got punish very bad they refuse to beige us to force us to wait 5 days until the war almost expire . Really toxic there wasnt no second chances we try to apologize and Im willing to pay double amount of damage we cause . They still refuse n be toxic punished us over attacking an inactive applicant . We dont understand y they dont kick inactive applicant lol. If theyre taking too long to apply theyre not worth it . We hope they make war rules if you dont attack after you have 12 then war ends . Making a new nation wait 5 days n constantly sabotage them with spies thats a way to kill the game . Now Im going to delete nation.
Politics and War is by far the best free to play browser/phone game ever. There are some pay to play elements but we assure you they do not effect the game. The community is huge. It says its a nation game but think of your nation more as a State or Province of a country. Alliances are basically countries you can join or leave at will. You have to join one to survive. Some alliances are democratic, some are oligarchies, many are dictatorships and one is Communist. This game requires discord to play to the full extent. Discord is a free to use social media app. You must have it to play this game. When you play this game, join a alliance that fits for you, and learn the game from the people who know. Discord is used for communication. This game community is wild and has all ages from all over the world. Like there is one alliance that has nothing but old boomers over the age of 50 and there is a Soviet Union, there is a Kingdom of Camelot, Roman Empire, Aurora space empire and dozens and dozens more. Each alliance is different and has their own gov that you can try to join or you can focus entirely on your lands and money saving. The goal of this game is to build more cities, defend those cities, and save your money and repeat. Its a steep learning curve but you will play for a long time if you get a chance and make friends you never knew you would. The game is full of plots, schemes, honor, back stabbing, and is one of the most positive influences in our life. We hope you all give this game a chance and join us.

Its a good game, we would think that there should be more money given in the beginning to start the countries out. There should also be a set amount of each resource in the beginning. Another problem is how this game is heavily reliant on discord which is a big problem for people who dont use discord. Other than that its fine.
Once youre out of the Beige Bloc you get raided instantly, make the protection longer, and give a higher bonus for starting.
Alex, we play this game all the time on our phone but there are a few fixes Id like to see done. -we cant read most of the bottom row of resources on our phone. -we have started playing baseball a lot and there is room for A LOT of improvement. -embargos should go away after a set amount of time or require a review every month or so. If want you reach out some time fee free.

TheRussian people need to be aware of whats happening in the UKRAINE. If they are caught listening or talking against the party line they will get 15 years in prison. They can find out what is happening by getting a VPN app which can look like they are in Paris or New York so they can not trace the text or you tube and see another point of view. If you dont know what VPN is go to your browser and check it out.
This game is great. Its fun, addictive, and it truly teaches the human brain how to develop a somewhat stable government, and how to run it. But, one problem we have with this app is disease. Disease rates in our 3 cities are extremely high, highest being what, 30%? In the real world, if a country has space where little no one lives, a family whos daring enough will decide to live there, to escape the pressures of high tax rates, work, or just for the fun of living in the wild. This app doesnt have it. Disease rates just climb and climb, and our citizens faith in us decreases ever so slightly. If we have unpopulated space, can we have some daring families make a home, or even little towns on their own? This little feature would make the game even better than it already is, and we can finally keep some faith from our citizens.
No joke; the games wiki page is a gripping read. Wars are costly. Choices are important. Diplomacy is a necessary skill. The balance of resource production, military size, and infrastructure makes for a large variety of builds that fit different niches. The community is big enough to feel fleshed out, but small enough to make you feel that your actions are making an impact on the game. Alliance politics are always interesting to take part in as well as watch from the sidelines. The games simplicity is honestly a good thing, though we always felt like it needed some other factor to make the decision making process a bit more interesting. Still a great game. 4/5.
