Great all around game as well as the football game as well. We think it can be even better though. Little things such as being able to approach a good player for contract negotiations early to save money would be nice. Also we think young players being devalued in trade talks is the opposite of what would happen in real life. Young players especially if theyre good should be valued more than older players.
This is one of the best strategy games out there. It doesnt fall into the trap of being overly complicated while not being too easy. The only complaint we have is that the trade system is skewed towards the npc so you cant really win a trade, its useful for offloading cap space but not much else.
This game used to be so fun and then the devs started changing it and we just saw they updated the version to 3 so we decided to come back but now it wont let us restore our premium purchase we literally just restored in the football version of the game too Im not trying to pay 4 dollars for something Ive already paid for.
Number one make it more harder harder to get fired. Also let us create characters and also we want to have it or you can choose what year you started.
Overall good game but for some reason you guys removed the energy system to sign players. Then added it back in. It's hyper unrealistic, we're already capped by salary and now you're throwing in some extra garbage that no one asked for. Disappointing. Remove it and keep it that way and we might play again.
Since the latest update, theres been an 8 year drought since someone's entered the HOF which has been the longest in our 42 year save. There has definitely been people who shouldve gotten in that didnt and it kinda ruins it for us. Some QOL feature suggestions: 1. Allow retired players to still be eligible for the HOF later on like irl rather than just the year they retire. 2. Reach out to team legends for staff positions during their retirement rather than the year they leave. 3. Allow NPC teams to replace their GMs (all our NPC teams have had the same GM since 2021). Otherwise, theyre just likely to stay as a bad team if the GM is bad. 4. Better NPC trading. Currently opposing teams only trade mediocre players for picks only. Theres no player for player trades which could offer a lot more story narratives in the immersion. 5. Allow us to see other team's team legends, not just for our own team. 6. Allow us to see other team's history each year in their team info, not just for our own team. (Like the feature where we see which round we lost the playoffs in or if we didnt make the playoffs).
We like the game but why on legends mode will it not let u play causal everytime we click casual it goes back to challenging like it wont let u play it can someone please look in to this sometimes we just like to play for fun and not have to play as hard. Plus when we have a 99 overall team and go up against a 88 overall team we get swept in round one wish it was more realistic our chemistry is 90 and everything doesnt make any sense.
So ive been thinking if you can make a game like the qb game it would be good.
You used to be able to click on a player click something like trade block and you would get offers from a few teams but that has since been removed and should definitely make a comeback.
You should add an option that users can buy, this option will give access to users to train any player individually. This way we can get back some of the old version that many users liked. We think considering this for your next update would be great, it will also benefit many users that reach out regarding bring this option back.
Can you guys add a simulate season feature and not just 15 games max.
Be patient and play the long ball. You dont have to spend so much money to get a good team. Be patient many seasons will pass and youll be trash but at one point. Youll take over the league. Draft 5 star prospects. They will develop.
This game has potential but How do you allow the cpu unlimited cap space but limit the players and only upgrade it 5 mil every like 10 years its impossible to really progress because as soon as you get the players you need to develop they start asking for too much and you lose them due to cap space you should make the game a little bit more fair has great potential but thing like that make us not want to play because wats the point whe the cpu teams have 5 player 90 overall up to 110 starting the cpu might have 25 players just on 1 team their second string is easily better then your starter thats so unfair if you made the game actually fair and didnt make the cpu teams 100 times better this would be a great game and would get 5 stars.
Listen, its alright, but it used to be so much more simple. Its the only understandable Basketball GM game on the App Store, but it used to be so much easier. You cant even have fun anymore and you cant edit salary cap anymore. Cant trade anymore because players dont hold value anymore Claims that since the player is on the rookie deal he is less valuable which IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE in the NBA like what the heck guys fix the game please Also WAYYYY too pay-to-win which pisses us off. Im in year 2078 and still havent won a single championship and Ive only made the playoffs a handful of times. Need to make it more like real NBA and less like a stupid version of it. Thanks for listening and please please please fix the game we beg you!!! We want to edit salary cap again and only coach mode is available and not GM mode.
The game is fun, no doubt, but seriously, our teams are way better than who we go against, especially in the playoffs. Ill have the best gear, the best players (all of them running under our coachs schemes from paying for the TP) and well dominate the regular season. In the playoffs, more often than not, were losing to an inferior team. Yall need to fix that cuz thats frustrating and unfair, especially when we spend money on the game. We at least deserve the satisfaction of actually winning.
This game is great except for a few things, the trade value of your own players are nowhere near the same as the trade value for cpu players, even if they are same age, overall, personality, and potential.
Hi miss the old version of the game were you could Upgrade player and etc we still love this game but please bring back the old version.
How do you add salary cap we have seen older videos with gm mode but idk how to get it now.
The game is a basketball heads best dream when it comes to being a GM. However, theres been consistent issues after changing teams. Its extremely difficult to hire a new Scout Chief and its impossible to Edit Schemes because it just shows a long gray box. Also, the GM goals feel a little repetitive and just slow. For example, Train Coaches or Development Players X amount of times. Would recommend, but it needs to get fixed up quick or else its infuriating losing a long save file.
Game is very hard to win in but enjoyable, im currently still learning and having fun.
Not quite as good as the football version but still very good.
How is it that a 5* player on our team is Valued so low. When we trade them their value sky rockets. Ive had a 8 time MVP valued at about 45,000 that we couldnt trade for a lesser skilled player older players because that player was valued at well over 100,000. Lets balance our player value to match the value of other teams players value to make more balanced trades. Also the trade dont always have to benefit the other team they can sometimes benefit us. It makes the game unplayable without wasting money and if thats the case Ill just delete it we love this as a time killer when Im waiting in line and stuff but not if its gonna be impossible to build a winner until year 2200.
If you love gm mode, these games are for you.
If we had to nitpick, we would say that after having over 5 coaches complete 10 year runs, it is very difficult to find players that match our style, no matter what style we have. It is also hard to win the division as well. Seems like you have to pay to win by getting the VIP Pass every week to keep up.
This game is fun, but our two main issues are the game should focus on randomizing teams when you first start the fact that you start as the worst team and the rest of the league are 80+ starting out followed by multiple 90+ overall teams makes this too difficult especially if you want to have a winning record as a head coach, another thing we have a problem with is going negative in the salary cap in the nba teams go in the negative all the time and never have to trade their best players , we already had to trade our best players over and over again since once you go negative in salary cap youre forced to trade players or else you cant start the season. Fix that and this game will be AMAZING.
Ive upgraded our franchise buildings up to 10 but they all of a sudden lvl down. Once our lvl 10 franchise store went down to 9 and the drop of money we made after had us bankrupt in a couple seasons with no way to be able to afford the upgrade back to 10 even with the coach bonus of winning championships. Is this meant to be in the game or is it a glitch.
Main thing we would love to see added is a spectating option so its seems like you are watching the game and can adjust or coach accordingly to exactly what you see from the team instead of just stats at the end and during the game.
Great but some main issues are the trades. You have to meet the exact number or higher for trades for the other team, no room for negotiation or acceptance even if youre 3 points away. But even bigger, when you draft a player their worth is jack squat if you try to trade them but if you trade for a player from the draft or who would still be on a rookie deal theyre worth is astronomical in comparison. Its extremely lopsided and unfair for the user.
Great game except after the recent update you cant change the salary cap with the premium and its a lot harder to upgrade your team.
Just seen a team win 10 championship in a row so realistic like they say.
Hard game, fun if you can get past the start. Tried to switch franchises after we got our currently to the highest we could to try and increase our coach level, and it broke something. We can no longer change our teams scheme and menus have been bugging out.
Even if you save cap room you cant offer the guys you want in FA.
This game is so much fun the only thing you guys could really do to make it better is to add on an all defensive team please.
Honestly, we think the general manager mowed is the best feature that yall have. Where did that go? Extremely confused why we discontinued it going into this year the baseball general manager is a. So was the football one but now theres really difficult and obstacles you have to face with the Coach Mo . At all doesnt feel like you have control, but we would love to know. Thank you again.
We dont see anything related to the player path game mode in the main menu.
Great team building great diversity and so many options but the results never make sense when we have a great defense it stops no one when its lousy we can beat the best teams when our teams great we beat good teams and lose to bad ones we mean its awful why build a team at all of the results are just a coin flip.
Weird how we checked staff TP cost to switch styles and it was near 56k, did some goals and all to get to 56k and check again and now its 89k.
Back when this game was first released we loved it we played it so much and we really found it interesting how it was so simple yet fun to build a dynasty and one this we really enjoyed was GM legends. We got super into fining what we considered the perfect seed and trying to rebuild 1 year championships in GM legends but nowadays its not even possible to rebuild on extreme without spending some sort of money. The AIs all get the best gear which ruins the trade values of the game and makes it so that you cant trade a 5 star or 4 star to a team with the premium gear because it would literally give them a superstar but their trade value wont reflect that. We love the new additions the game made such as gear and other things but the way they made the AI pay to win ruins the game for us and theres so much content we would love to explore with this game that we cant because we know we theres no point in rebuilding past 7-8 years. We wish they would just remove the AI having premium gear thats our one and only complaint about the game but it really ruins every aspect of the game we wish they would do this for all there games such as FOOTBALLGM as well. Again we truly loved playing this game but we dont want it to be just a memory we want to experience it again.
Pls can someone pls explain to us why when we trade for a player thats like, for example a player is a 81 and we trade for them and then they all of the sudden a 72? Im just genuinely curious on that bc like its kinda ripping us off at that point we could throw all we got for a player thats a 95 and Ill get them as a 82 we just dont understand why that happens.
Our point guard got injured and we have no replacement but we already is in the middle of the season so the trades are off and iam stuck because our point guard can recover if time does not run. What a waste of time and a good run.
We have played almost all of the games in this series and love them all, however youll realize after you get good enough, there is a very clear ceiling you can hit. After you succeed and win the championship enough times around four other teams get a bonus of about +5. So they are all so much better than your teams making it that you literally cant win. We know its to incentivize the player to but a higher gear but this makes success almost impossible, and every year you spend all this time drafting and signing and trading for this incredible team, and you get beat in the semi-finals by a team fiver overalls worse than you. Please stop this mechanic that debilitates your ability to win.
We absolutely love this game we just find it very annoying that if you dont spend money on gear you can almost never win a championship besides that its a great game just please fix it.
For some reason, whenever we leave the app, then later try to open up our previous saved coach, the status bar get almost all the way there then stops. Im not sure why its happening, is it getting fixed.
This game use to be so fun until they made you have to pay to be able to win. In this game you need to change coaching play styles and players styles to be able to win. A couple years ago when we played you didnt need to spend money to do that. Now you do.. Its sad to see this game go from a great free to play game to a money hungry business. This business will no longer get our support. Disgusting how you sell out for money.
Ive been playing the game since 2021, the old menu used to be so much simpler (v1.6 was the best), we barely know how to play the game anymore cause everything has been moved around.
You guys always deliver with these games.
We like this game it fun we spent 4 hours on it yesterday we like the coach update but we get fired after one season cause the finance is too how am we supposed to keep the finance positive but overall this is a pretty good game but we cant improve our players with the tp on every attribute we used to be able to update our players 3pt shot free throws etc but now we the only we can improve them if we update their trait so we wish they could bring back improving players attributes.
We spent money on this game not knowing its very buggy. Ive been playing a ton but our experience has been suppressed due to these bugs, randomly when we sim to a new season it kicks us out and gives us a bug error. Can yall please find a fix to it. Im on year 2054 and cant play.
Listen, all of the games these creators make are absolutely great but we honestly think that hockey would take the cake. Its our favorite sport and if a hockey game was made, we would be in absolute heaven. We hope the creators see this review and we hope they seriously consider making a hockey game.
So first why cant we make the grade in it self better every sports games you loook at madden you can make the draft to super stong and drafted 85 overalls For two let the people that pay for things in the game do whatever they want give us infinite money and tp For 3 why is it that win am playing you Always end up quitting after 2040 to start a new one because the game does not let you win no more we dont want a game that we can control and have all the best players but still not win have all have best players on our team and not win we have play a lot of game and restarted a whole lot but you never can find one team that is the best let us make our teams that h have made so for take the team that are in game and let us put the team we have made so say we have two really good team let us put them in the same league and play to the championship So 5 let make it to were you have to do more thing in game like win you are looking for player it could be like a mini game of so and so or you could have a game day goal and you get so and so for getting it done or right game day plans give you a boost of so and so you could watch the other teams play get a boost to beat them Hear us out everyone wants the overall to go up and a 6 star if lucky So 6 you could do some type of battle pass past players name tags different outfits make the sim watch able said / person created player / you could have way to play were you creat a player would make so many people play the game ones again love the game just trying to make it better we pay for stuff in this game we just looking out for the game in the long run.
