In our opinion, the best hockey game ever.
This system is kinda stupid but the game is still fun but please remove this.
You should make a Football league game like this at some point this game with commissioner mode for a franchise is great! Love the game hope you make a football game like this.
So Ive been playing ice league for at least a year now and we think the main problems are, we think it should have more rounds in the draft and an option for a bigger roster. A mode where if you had a player career where you could play for your country in international competitions would be awesome. We also think the free agency should be randomly generated every time because It gets a bit boring after a while seeing the same old free agents every time. It be cool to if their was a personal life mode where in your player you could see your house or make financial decisions. We also thing the eastern vs western game before you get drafted should change to a college format where you chose your own college and play for them in a playoff against other colleges the colleges could be made up or real. We think injuries should also say what the player injured as that would bring more life to the game.
From a AA player this is so accurate and amazing it is beautiful and perfect.
OK when we were playing this game, it was really cool we created our high school college football horns and ITS SO GOOD that we couldnt even believe our ears.

Instead of complaining about the app and how hard it is to learn to shoot the puck JUST DRAG YOUR FINGER BACK AND HOLD your pretty much good from there.
Unlike the $5.99 hockey game we got this game could draft players and have a season mode best game we ever got on our IPad.
The controls in this game are a little more difficult than the others in the retro series, but once you get a feel for them they become second nature. Our only complaint is lack of replays on goals, it would be super helpful to view goal replays and learn how to get the puck in the net, especially for new players.
We like it its so fun and cool.

This game nails it we play it everyday but we really do wish you guys could make a football and a baseball version cause the basketball and this one are great.
We love this game because of the teams,gameplay and settings but we want the NHL teams but best game ever.
We like how they made there own teams in the game and it really stands out in all of the other retro sports like retro bowl and this is the most fun retro game Ive downloaded.
For all you people out there looking for a nice retro hockey game this is it it maybe a bit hard at first but after awhile it gets fun and season is the best you can play as any team for a whole SEASON so and its offline so good for long car rides or flights.
This is a great game, but Im having trouble changing our logo back, every time we do it says internet connection is bad. Is there anyway we can fix it.
Every game this guy makes is ELITE.
This game is awesome. It has really fun gameplay and you can literally get a custom roster to be exactly like the NHL. If youre more of a GM type of guy you can just simulate and rebuild whatever team you want. We love this game and highly recommend it.
We dont see anything wrong with this game, its perfect! However, could you make it to where there are the other 16 franchises not featured in the game (we. E. Nashville, Winnipeg, St. Louis, Dallas).
Ive played pretty much all of the popular retro sports games, and none come close to the depth available in this. The trade system is the only truly fleshed out one we have seen in this genre, with practically as much freedom as you would expect from a AAA sports game; the contract system is well done; players have more attributes than many similar games and tons of archetypes. We do not consider ourselves a hockey fan, even some of the terminology was new to us, but this game is just made with so much care that it sucked us in. The gameplay itself is not perfect other players on your team mostly just stand around when you have the puck, we think the mechanic of aiming your shot could be improved (like increasing the length of the arrow for players with a better shooting rating), and we think there are way too many options to use coins on in the Staff page, especially with how expensive each of them are (a full seasons worth of coins will afford you a little rest). We also think adding in small random elements that affect players mood would add a lot to the game. Overall, though, it is clear that this game is much, much closer to being perfect than any other retro sports game right now. All of the suggestions we have would only add more polish than anything there is nothing that we feel like is truly missing from the game.
Im obsessed with this game. You can personalize your team to make it feel more yours. You can choose the difficulty level to keep advancing and it respects all hockey rules. Its so fun. The best part is you can always achieve more. Championship after championship, you can also change teams. Its amazing. 10/10 would recommend to hockey fans.
Great game but could use difficulty settings we win by at least 10 each game.
We really like this game. Our only thing we wish was different is that we wish you could customize your teams schedule in season mode. It is really nice that we can pick how many games are played but being able to chose what teams we play and when would be awesome.
Honestly we just want to see you guys make a football game the career mode in your hockey and basketball games are good and we want that for a football game too.
This game is the best, we play it everyday. There is just one flaw, controller play, there is no place where it says the controls to play with a controller. Eventually we figured it out but it would be nice for new players to put a place that says all the controls on the controller.
Fun and even challenging gameplay so you dont get bored, would be cool to see higher difficulties though that being said the developer is NOT a money hungry thief like these corporations are cough big pharma cough which is always good to hear. Game has loads of potential as well.
This game takes us back to when games were 8-bit, though it has micro transactions, its an amazing game.
We like this game no joke but we think the premium is just dumb because whos gonna pay for premium while they also got to pay for other stuff too. Get rid of premium and then you get a five star rating from us.
We find the game very fun but its a little wonky and sometimes no matter what you do you just cant score even when there is no goalie.
We love this game so much but we wish importing the actual NHL logos was easier.
We're perfectly good with the game in all.. When we started a career the game stopped offering contracts at 79.. We might sound crazy but we were making stuff up as we went as real events. At 60-75 contracts appeared 0 years but defaulted to 1.. However at 74.. The game jumped three years like nothing.. We were 77 still doing okay. But we wanted to push it to the limits just to see. Our career was okay but it could have been better. The game eventually just had no contracts but we could scroll.. Please Fix!! =).
Amazing game and we love the fighting and hitting but after our first our career season it asked for more money this disappointed us because we were really exited but other than that great game.
It would be great for more team options, as well as a retro MLS game.
We have been loving this game but have a suggestion to make a part of it a little more fun. Defense is so much more challenging than offense. Playing goalie even on rookie is extremely hard. We think a way to make it a little easier would be to add a slow motion feature when a shot is taken. Similar to when slow motion happens when taking a shot on offense. The grading for playing goalie is also very harsh. If we save multiple shots and let one slip through the cracks our grade goes to a D or a C- which makes it very hard to improve, especially when playing a backup.
We love retro bowl but just like retro bowl this games gets boring after a little while.
So just got the game about 1 weeks ago and we love it but there is one bad thing.you cant make your own league or teams without having to pay money.we would love to be able to make the games longer too and thats not allI would love to be in a career or be the commissioner but no we gotta pay money to do all of thatpls if you make another game to this series dont limit the free portion of it so much.
The game overall is great but there is one thing. There is no way to get nhl teams, even though they have a logo url.
- Offsides is super off not even sure whats going on with that 2. We can win most of our games pretty close to all on hardest difficulty there should be another where instead of just making the other team check more frequently you have to pass more and make better shots because the whole thing where the other team lays 100 hits a game is alittle boring other than that the game is pretty good 3. Fantasy draft bugs trading and the draft alittle 4. Finally it would be nice if you guys made an option to turn of salary cap thats our biggest request is to just have an option to turn off the cap, another useful thing that would be cool is to change overtime in reg season to the same time as a period and if no one scores they go to shoot out.
This is an Amazing game got it when it first debuted on the App Store and have had nothing but fabulous gaming times with it since but we find time and time again when Im trying to play Ive had many instances where Im about to shoot the puck and it has a very good chance of going in but the other team causes any kind of foul and the shot goes in but isnt a goal any chance you could possibly add a penalty delay feature so the team which the penalty against it has to have possession of the puck to enable the power play for the opposition.
The game good but we think you should just revamp the menu. Take some inspiration from retro bowl or goal its confusing.
Absolutely love this game it is super fun and easy to pick up but we want our best players in HOF but we dont know how to put them there please help. Other than that though would totally recommend this game. Cant wait to see how it keeps developing and getting better.
Every time we play a game our teams switch what is that.
We liked it but they make you pay for EVERYTHING just lower to a dollar like retro bowl.
Its good but Im really bugged by the Premium Edition keeps us from doing everything.
