Community Insight:

Having fun with this game,,,our hint is telling us to put the shogi tiles on the board,,,doesnt happen,,unless Im missing something?,,,still stuck at the shogi board,,,,,,have to say goodbye to the game,,,cant get beyond the shogi board,,,we decided to stick around for this gameactually doing pretty good..Im at the table where you need to flip the dough with the item tapping it..we cannot get past it..need a skip button..other than that we would like to move on from this spot..sorry to do this but we cant flip the dough fast enough so we are deleting this gameits the only part we cant do..if it wasnt so difficult we would definitely keep going.

Another great experience from the GOAT escape game developers at Jammsworks. Two stages that are perfectly integrated, with puzzles that continue to feel fresh even after all these years. Yes, most of the twists and turns are similar to their other titles, but theyre handled in such new and different ways that it never gets stale for us. Just sublime.

Help please. This game is actually so interesting and we could not stop playing and ive tried literally everything so our last stop is to come here. Please, when the hint tells us that we have an unused sliding door and we should put ink in it what does it mean?!!? We still have some codes which we havent been able to crack and we actually have no idea what to do please help because we want to keep playing.

We love Japan,China,Asia, and Korea and when we found this game it was so fun it was kinda fun but we recommend if you want a challenge.

Ive played a few and this is our favourite so far! We also love that this game can be played offline during road trips or power outages..its immersive and fun and just challenging enough at times. We have the entire catalogue downloaded and cant wait to start a new adventure.

Great game! We had to use a couple of hints because we couldnt figure out what an item was and there are no item labels. Good use of logic and sequence.

We like escape the room style games, but this one was not our style. Uses too many similar puzzles with codes using shapes and colors. We found it pretty uninteresting and boring. Ads are very intrusive to the gameplay with banners on the top and the bottom plus timed ads you must wait through.

What a classy game developer. Kudos to you and your staff. After playing one of the worst series of escape games from another unnamed developer, we just had to come back and add commentary to our recent 5 stars. If there were more stars to give, we would. Thank you.

Great game. Best Ive played yet.

Hopefully more are in the making we did them all.

This developer is intuitive, creative, & if you mute the music, has the most entertaining sound effects to accompany the occasional moments in the app that deem appropriate. The only complaint we have is that in the last 5 or so games you could purchase an ad blocker which made the game so much more entertaining- as sitting through 30-60 sec loud ads, that repeat over & over, are annoying. The later games also got much longer, more clever, & included even more clever mini games when youve finished their main game. (Try matching 60 rounds of koi fish in just one sitting its not going to happen.) The memory on the game (& the after game) is excellent, & after finishing, we always play again, & find ourselves still stumped at 4-5 junctions. In fact, we often search the Jammsworks developer just to find out whether theyve distributed something that we havent heard about. But please, find a way for players to purchase ad blockers for your earlier games, which although they were a bit shorter, deserve to be replayed.

We absolutely love this developers escape games. They are not too difficult, yet not too easy, and they are quite decent in length. That said, we have 2 fixable issues: 1) hints…they are too thorough…hints should be a gentle nudge in the right direction, not the answer handed to you on a platter 2) inventory…some items are evident as to what they are, but some are not, so, all items collected should be identified Keep up the good work.

We love jammsworks games. Thank you very very much for a fun and beautiful game. Love it.

Ive played all of them! Please keep making more! Thank you.

Having fun with this game,,,our hint is telling us to put the shogi tiles on the board,,,doesnt happen,,unless Im missing something?,,,still stuck at the shogi board,,,,,,have to say goodbye to the game,,,cant get beyond the shogi board,,,.

We absolutely loved this game, is was perfect for a rainy day. However some of the items we didnt know what they were because we have never actually been to Kyoto or Japan for that matter. Also a lot of the hints use the Japanese name for items, we got lucky because we speak the language and could translate it, but we know not everyone can do that. Overall we love 10/10 do recommend. :).

The escape puzzles are great but way too many ads. Doesnt allow gameplay. There is no options to stop ads.

Simple but entertaining! Wish there was more.

Our favorite from this developer so far. The mini game is nice and long, too! We think if we could read Japanese symbols or understood the culture more it would have been easier (some items we couldnt tell at all what they were, so we needed a hint now and then). Definitely recommend.

Fun and visually beautiful game. Helps to have some knowledge of Japanese culture, like how mochi is made and need to roast them! But the clues are helpful.

What a hoot, the monkey cracked us up. Surprises that made us laugh, not too easy, not too hard, a nice long game. Perfect.

Jamms makes the best room escape games. All of them are brilliant.

Im giving this 5 stars since it is a great, long game when compared to other games in this genre. However it is not the best Jammsworks game. It is a compilation of older Jammsworks games so, for us, it was not very fun. Several of the puzzles and rooms were from years ago. Still enjoyable – thank you.

The puzzles are terrific and the setting gorgeous. It has everything Ive adored in other developers games (especially market stalls!) and our favorites from Jammsworks games (piano man is back!).

Wow! Another amazing Jammsworks masterpiece. Really enjoy how long these games are. And like always…lots of clever puzzles, fabulous scenery, adorable characters and extra bonus games plus mini games. Thank you.

Game is fun as is all games by this Developer however not letting us put the shogi pieces on the board.
