It’s rated 4+ and currently has 360+ ratings on the App Store.

What Makes Roll Stand Out

In Roll, you have 2500 rolls to collect as many points as possible. Roll your dice to gain points, spend your points to upgrade your dice, and repeat. Borrowing gameplay elements from strategy, clicker, and roguelike deckbuilder genres, Roll creates a perfect balance of relaxation with critical thinking. While the "Clicker"/"Incremental" genre is not known for its variety or depth of game mechanics, Roll offers a unique dicebuilding system which allows you to explore different strategies and synergies between upgrades. Each run will present you with new and interesting decisions creating a huge depth of strategy and keeping the game feeling always fresh. Roll is designed to be a relaxing and meditative experience. Get lost in the satisfying sounds and effects as all your worries melt away. From the minimalistic UI to the slow peaceful music, everything was designed to create the perfect zen environment. If you enjoy building an engine and watching it grow, chasing down highscores, or just need to escape from your own thoughts, then I really hope you'll enjoy my game, Roll. :)

This Entertainment game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:

Our high-score on classic is e25 and we can consistently get around e20 but since the last few updates once we hit e15 the shop prices jump so high we cant mathematically buy anything and end up just wasting our last 500-1000 rolls. We dont understand why this change was made but its frustrating having a good run ruined by the shop going from costing 2-10 rolls to becoming unaffordable even after 500 rolls.

Great game, no ads, support the creator.

Such a simple a satisfying game design! Roll Dice. Get Dopamine. Couldnt be more accurate! And totally free, you can play the game endlessly with no ads, or pay to get access to some more modes. Bless your heart developer.

This game solves our two major issues with incremental games. The first is that this game is a lot more strategic, as your score does not automatically go up, but only when you roll the die. This allows you to go at your own pace, as fast or slow as you like. The second improvement is the upgrades. Most incremental games upgrades are just more points per click, and while that is still somewhat true here, there are so many different kinds of buffs to choose from that have synergies with one another. Its more like a deck builder than an incremental game. Thus, we would describe the game as an incremental dice builder.

If you like minmaxing, youll like this game.

Heya! This game is a very nice game is it lets you just roll dice to score points, and you can get some upgrades along the way. The game has great mechanics, nice graphics, its easy to understand, and has leaderboards for all sorts of weekly challenges. There are also no ads, and PAY 1 DOLLAR TO GET 1,000,000 POINTS, so you know everyone on the leaderboards are actually doing good. There is only one 4 dollar purchase, and its for a premium version, which is definitely worth the money. It also unlocks custom, so you can make your own challenges! Great game overall, excited for Augusts update.

The concept is super good. Some of the rules are a bit complex. The UI pretty clunky. All in all fun though.

It looks like this was made but one guy, so in that regard it is quite good. However, as a fellow amateur game dev, we have to encourage you to fix the UI and UX. The game isnt easy to understand and is not intuitive. Its got a formula there, but it needs a little work.

We just wanted to spam away and watch a number grow. Which it did until we got an upgrade that rolled a die and one that goes up every time you roll it but it slowed it down by a lot. We read the description of the upgrade but it made little sense and now the game feels slow due to everything re-rolling all the time. Just not satisfying.

This game is addictive and all about strategy. We love it.

Ive become addicted, we dont care about anything except getting top 100. All we need is one more run where we add 800 billion to our record.

The game is very cool but its extremely complicated or maybe Im just bad anyways its really confusing what the words mean but Im also dumb.

Yes numbers go up but there is a lot more to be desired. Very rarely did we feel like our run was satisfying. We wish there was more agency in dice position, more opportunities to make compounding numbers (not just increasing primes by 100% and hoping you get +Prime Dice in the shop). Really frustrating and every run just ends up being the same hope to get the only couple of builds that get compounding score.

Easy to play , hard to master. The intricacies of this game is next level. Major props.

When we played it we first thought it was a Time Machine but now its way better we totally recommend you download this app you will have fun Reason why is its random.

Can you add ads for f2p players like for x amount of ads you get 1 game mode each time for said amount of ads. Thats about it. Good game btw.

Dopamine is achieved, but theres a bug swimming in it. We accidentally upgraded the shop before dismissing the text (1 > 2) and now for some reason, we got the 2nd dice, but the 2nd level shop stuff isnt appearing. Please fix this so we can have bug-free dopamine.

We played our first round of this game, choosing random upgrades along the way, and did really well. Im a natural at this, we thought. Then we spent 20 games chasing that high while failing spectacularly. This game is maddening, addictive, and above all, fun. Its way more complicated than it first appears, and looking for upgrade combos and tricks to improve your score is so much fun – the possibilities are practically endless. We love that there are no ads. The paid version is only $3.99, and the free version is really fun as well. We highly recommend giving it a go.

This game is super fun and relaxation was confusing at first but you get to know everything and the developers really cool and this definitely deserves more downloads.

We were looking for a casual game before we go to bed and we stumbled upon roll, this game absolutely blew us away. The simplicity of playing is awesome but what keeps us playing is the huge variety of modifiers out there to rack up huge huge scores and have a large number of dice play. If you like casual strategy games and especially if you like dice games, we would definitely try this one out. We dont think youll regret it.

Okay 10000% love this game. Some DLC we would like for the future updates: new dice skins and an actual dark mode. Love this game though. Great game.

We had originally purchased this game on PC and put 60 hours into it. We've been hooked on this game for a good year now we just bought it on our phone yesterday and we would say this is one of the best if not the best mobile game port we have ever played.

Ive been wanting to play Roll for years after originally seeing it, only now did we discover it has a mobile port! Roll has been a joy to play through, we love all the different upgrade options and inclusion of a dark theme for whenever you play at night. It somehow manages to be both simple AND complex at the same time, and it pulls it off well. No ads even on the free version is a godsend and rare for mobile games nowadays. Ive bought the full version to support the developer too. Its quickly become one of our new favorite games to play.

This game is super fun and addictive; dont let its minimalist appearance discourage you. When we first got this game we thought it would be a run-of-the-mill RNG simulator game but upon loading in a realized it was a strategy-filled optimization game! -very nice, Polly.

We did not expect it to be this fun! 11/10 we totally recommend this game!!! No ads.

Its very fun and very addicting.

This game is unique, innovative, and free of ads and microtransactions! The only purchase is of a full version for four dollars, but that is well worth the money. This game may come across as an average clicker game, but the limited rolls and sprawling shop options make it into a wholly strategic experience. We only wish you could get more information (like a stats meter on each die telling you the total points earned from it, the average points it generates per roll, and stuff like that. Try it out.

Absolutely love this game, play it to kill time. Truly nothing better than numbers going up lol. Personally the price for the premium upgrade was well worth it for the extra dice faces and game options you get permanent access to. Also! No intrusive ads! 5/5.

Im a big incremental game fan. A lot of the idle/incremental games are very similar with the actual game mechanics. This is the rare, very fun and addicting, unique game – all based on the familiar concept of rolling dice. Bravo! Highly recommend.

This is a very fun mathy sort of game. If we had played it as a kid, we wouldve probably learned to hoard every penny we found and become a billionaire.

For just being a dice rolling game there is a very surprising amount of strategy to put into it. The games if played well take a long time but its super easy to play at your own pace. There really seem to be so many endless possibilities for strategies and how your game can turn out. Im really not much of a person for games but this one surprised us. Definitely worth a shot. Also there are literally no ads so thats really cool. Thanks for making this game bro.

Really fun and addictive game. We like to roll the dice and make the number go up. Our family claims to miss us, but we dont see how talking to them helps us make the number go up.

Incredible game addictive and strategic great work to the dev.

Just a really chill experience, the design is simple but looks really nice and the sounds are kind of asmr-ish for us. We get sick a lot and games like this help us out a lot in getting through those times. And, honestly, not putting in ads even in the free version just kinda made us want to give the developer money. The app store is such a mess of that.

There are no ads whatsoever and you dont even need Wi-Fi to play. You do need Wi-Fi to be on the leaderboard but who cares about that. We really enjoy how many different mechanics there are and how absurd one game can get.

We have never seen a game quite like this one. At first we did not think Id ever get through 2000 rolls. Then it clicked; now if we start a game we cant stop until Im out of rolls. Highly recommend if you like strategy puzzle games.

Very fun game if youre ever bored or looking to kill time.

Really enjoy this game. A bit of a learning curve which is good. Overall a lot of fun.

We know the main point of the game is to get the most in fewest rolls possible, but can you make a game exactly like this but a sandbox kind of version? Same thing but infinite rolls, and just try to get the most points ever? If you made that we would play that for so long, just our opinion, this game is still amazing.

The game loop itself is fun. There are a few bugs/errors in text here and there, and we're interested in the paid version but we won't be paying for the game until it works offline. We can't even open classic mode without the internet, which makes no sense to us. If the intent were to prevent cheating on leaderboards, maybe restrict the leaderboard to online only players, and leave an offline mode too? 4 stars – minus 1 star for internet requirement without clear purpose.

We got like 8 die w/in 5 minutes and we had to manage way too many things. Seemed fun at first but scaled way too fast and there didn't seem to be a good way to manage if. Maybe add auto-purchase or something, or change the way the shop works. Idk, has potential tho. Its nice to roll, gameplay/visuals were buttery smooth.

The Dirus and Viral Die Quantity Multiplier passive infects adjacent breeding die faces. How am we supposed to create large numbers of die if our breeding die keep on getting canceled out.

Overall its ok, you roll dice then you can buy more dice and higher rolls in the shop. But the game has a glitch where we buy the level 2 store, we get the dice, but it doesnt unlock the next items!! We dont understand how im supposed to get a high score when we cant even buy better stuff! So pls fix this. If that worked we woulve given it like a four star instead of two.

A friend recommended that we download this game. So we opened the App Store and searched for "Roll" – we.e. The exact title of this app. It didn't come up. Just pages and pages of unrelated apps (none of them titled simply "Roll," mind you). We returned to our friend and asked if they were sure they got the title right. They airdropped us this app store page and there it was, "Roll." So why didn't the App Store find this exact title match for an app that we were actively looking for? Apple's App Store is an illegal monopoly that harms creators and consumers.

This game has 0% ads and its real easy to jump into.

This game is fun. The build up of simple interactions into complex systems make for the perfect clicker game.

We absolutely love this game. We currently have the 11th best score in the world for classic (Blake405), and we dont even have any of the premium dice.

Dear developers, all we ask is that you please add haptics to this game. If you added haptics we guarantee it would make the game 100 times better. Im still pretty addicted to it and the sound is very satisfying. Haptics would just be the cherry on top that brings it all together.

Fun concept, but zero replayability.

We love this game. Its a great combination of analysis and gut feeling, strategy and deck building, with all the dopamine of other Large Number Generation games. We bought the full version about 5 games in. We highly recommend watching YouTube playthroughs to get a basic understanding, as tutorials havent really arrived yet. The creator is very active on the games discord, and is more than happy to take players feedback. He does a great job with making the full versions weekly challenges engaging. For anyone buying this blind, as of January 2024, Id say to consider it early access. Its a fully fleshed out game, but theres still rebalancing that needs to happen thats going to change the meta. The weekly challenges are a lot of fun, but since they combine interesting mechanics that arent played together often, there are usually a few bugs in them – these bugs are often patched in the next version, sometimes even while the challenge is still live. That being said, we highly recommend this game. Its simple enough to get into quickly, but has enough depth to keep you interested for a while. Our one warning is to avoid the Big Spender upgrade for now – its powerful, but the way you need to play with that upgrade is not representative of standard play, and is tedious enough that it may leave a bad taste in your mouth if youre not already hooked.
