1) Suggestion: we wish we could choose our own image when doing a book instead of the default ones, also, it would be great if yall made designing a book separate of something because you can bearly see the cover of the book & the fonts since is so small. 2) Bug: the vault doesnt work. Example: we have 20,000 dollars in game, but when we try to add 18,000 dollars it says that we dont have enough money. Also when you put x number a lot of times it shows another 3) Another bug: when you add the pricing for hardcover books it doesnt show you in real time what you added and is very buggy 4) our WPM is always negative and theres no guide on how to fix it or anything and we dont know if its a bug or not.
We have 101 on editing but it only lets us do a level 50 self edit and there are more bugs then a little the same books will show up on publishing deals when its about a different one.
So we really love the game and its a great Sim. But we have all of our stats at 100 and our experience at 96 and we have an agent but whenever our books get published the only end of selling like 30 or 40 copies total. Not sure what Im doing wrong or if its a glitch but its really kind of making us not want to play.
We love this game is so fun, but we dont understand why we have to self publish a book before a publisher reaches out to us to try and get the book.
Can you make it easier to get past the stage of having to have jobs? We spent a real life week living off of jobs.
Really love the game so far, but anyone know why we skipped 2 years of our life writing a 10page short story.
Good game, funny enough Ive been looking for exactly a game like this. The only issue we have is that we dont understand why we have to self publish everything before a publisher offers to publish an already published book. Maybe we are missing it or just not understanding how the business works. But fun, engaging, love the new visuals. A huge step up from your previous games.
We should be able to use our own pictures for the cover art for the books.
Like the other person said, we dont wanna be the classmate that tells the teacher we have homework, but this seems unrealistic its WAY too easy to make money and it makes the game boring very quickly.

Ive played all the games from music star, movie star, and trader. Love the game so far, only issue Im having is Im unable to access all of the courses, we dont know If im missing something but its a great and fun game so far.
We cant hit publish and we cant look at the icon at the top right Other wise amazing Can you also add a Wall Street ceo sim Like being the ceo of a public company with stock options and being able to buy like mansions and stuff.
As a person who actually enjoys writing irl this app is great, we played all the other games and etc and we liked them. But this? We love it. But it would be nice if we could react with the fans, like replying to them on the kindle app or liking their feedback and etc! And maybe see comments on the youview platform and interact with them as well and for the tweets maybe follow other writers and interact with them as well! Just to make it more realistic lol. But other than that this app is one of our favorites ive came across in years.

The game was updated and it said that the Restart Energy bug was fixed, but it still hasnt been, and we still havent been refunded. We dont know what is going on with that.
Ive been craving the past suggestions we gave this game. Let us tell you them shortly, check out our 5-star suggestions review for the entire thing.title: SUGGESTIONS! So, first we suggest a must-have for us, the next one is even more of a must-have. You write an excerpt of what you want your book to have during writing, max characters 200 and minimum 20. The excerpt determines the quality of your book, including grammer mistakes, depth, character dialogue, etc. And second, linked to #1, bad reviews are varied depending on the books quality. We just wrote a romance epic saga and have tons of bad reviews. And bonus third, read whichever book you want, rate that book and leave reviews, basically so that not everybody reviewing your book is bots. And yes, this is a lot. But we would love all this added. Also, we see a few reviews complaining about how they never get agents no matter their effort. So please fix that if you want to, Chimpanzee!<3.
This game is very realistic for someone who is also a writer. It can be helpful for people who want to get into writing.
So, we have been playing for a week now (beat the game twice) A few complaints though when we restart after we vault from our previous life. It doesnt always save all the money we deposited. Also maintaining energy has been a struggle. Ive been able to be in the top 100s after the annual checkup. It just goes down too quickly. Suggestion: Maybe make the energy go down every 2 years instead of every 1 year would definitely help. The annual checkups dont help too much considering they always give you -1 -2 etc. Maybe make the rng better on those to be in the + Other than that its a great game really addictive would consider downloading. Its kinda complicated at first, but thats what makes it immersive. Overall a 5 star game.

We love this game when we just wanna bed rot or do nothing. We would love to see more added into the game like a family tree so after ur character dies (we havent gotten to that point) you can have ur kid become ur next heir to fortune. Other than that, we think you guys should add more to the dating feature, maybe have more things involving daily stuff like scandals and so on. We really hope more is added.

Apart from some minor issues, STORY STAR is an enjoyable sim – there are different paths to authorial success, and the game is accessible throughout. However, completing the course list does not generate the promised bonus nor show the next tier of classes.
We love the game. The only thing we would love is to be able to publish the books we write through the publishing company that we own.
Honestly Im super addicted to this game its extremely fun, but honestly there should be more features like more lifestyle etc. Oh also we personally would love if we could pitch our books to our publishing company, it would be super cool to add that:D.

We absolutely love your games, especially story star. So realistic and fun. We think it would be cool if you had a life sim game from the time you were a baby, sort of like bitlife but you can do almost any career you want.

We tend to love these types of games (starting from nothing and working your way up) but this??? This is top tier. The mix of our fondness for this genre and also our love for books? Its addicting. Our only wish is that there were more features! More lifestyle option, more relationship building options, new daily optional tasks and better jobs!! The lack of these definitely isnt stopping us from spending too much time on this game though.

This Game Is Great! Just Some Things, First, we A Bit Annoyed About Having No Views On our YouView Platform. Second, we Want Ai Or Illustrator To Actually Make Something, Not Just Copy Our Work, So At The Bottom Of The Cover Section Is 2 Buttons, Your Cover, Which Is Your Book Cover As The Main Cover Or Ai Generated, Which Generates A Image By Analyzing The Title. Third, Plz Add Save Files. Last, Please Make It So That When You Start You Can Choose How You Look And Choose The Difficulties. Thx. XOXO.
So, we know Im redoing this whole review and not because it wasnt good enough, but because we already figured out the problem, but we still have a few suggestions we think would Mae the game better. So, for the first change what if there was a birthday bonus for your characters birthday? You could get maybe a free extra energy charge and a little more cash than usual! Thatd help a lot and can you add more ways to increase your amount of max energies.
We just got the came today, it took us a little to figure out how to play and we still dont know all the features but its pretty fun! We think there should be an option if you want a tutorial on how to play.
We wish that your husbands earnings show up in your feed because that is regular for that to happen in real life. But otherwise we love this game.
Needs to be optimized and needs an option to close the publisher. Runs pretty slow after a while. Overall pretty good just needs more updates like their other games.
Great game, but we do have an idea: maybe once the length of your book series reaches a certain point, you could have the option of selling box sets? Idk, just a thought.
This is on of our favorite games ever. We love playing and we also love a lot of the other games made by the developers. We think a really cool addition to the game would be to add a family dynasty where you can live on as you kids. Another really cool thing would be if you were able to make your books in to movies. Thanks for making this amazing game. Theres another bug we found where you cant make real money purchases and they dont give the upgrades to the game. Thats the only reason this game isnt 5 star.
