Red Fire is a turn-based strategic wargame set in East Asia between the years 1950-1975. Take command of land, air, and naval forces of dozens of nations including the US, USSR, China, Taiwan, North and South Korea, North and South Vietnam, France, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Experience Korean War, Vietnam War, and many other conflicts – both historical and fictional. Command squadrons of more than 500 types of aircraft, from biplanes to multirole fighter jets. Control the seas with more than 500 types of warships including submarines, battleships and aircraft carriers. Leverage new tools like surface-air missiles, air-air refueling tankers, attack helicopters, and missile cruisers to dominate the battlefield.

Community Insight:

This is such a great game. Thanks for making it. Would love a Cold War Europe version and please add more save slots thanks.

This game is fantastic! It would be awesome to see a Europe map to play out the Cold War in.

Why dont yall add missiles base we can launch missiles and why you dont have add Europe in the middle east Africa in South America add North America like doing a scenario if the US was invaded.

We really love this game. Its perfect for car trips and long days. However, we dislike its lack of other locations around the world. A east-west Germany game could be cool, and a desert storm style one would be fun too. Thanks.

Hi! We think this an amazing game but we would appreciate if you changed a few things. First off, you know how you can group naval units? We would like the ability to group land and air units into wings and corps just to make it easier to move them. We would also like the ability to edit the campaigns with the mission editor. Could you also make a new game thats like this but for the 1970s to 2020s Middle East? Desert fire? Just some suggestions but all together an amazing one of a kind game.

We have all three games in the series, but we would like to see a future game set in Cold War Europe, Africa and Middle East with a operation unthinkable campaign, and Arab-Israeli wars along with Suez crisis and alternate history campaigns. We would like to to see a game set in modern times, 21st century and future.

Yea, we love what you just did, but there still has something that its kind of too unrealistic if we compare it to the history. First, the campaign begins in Jan 1948. By that time, Beijing(Beiping/Peiking, the old name of Beijing, changed after China mainland took by CCP) should be still captured by ROC until Jan 1949. Not only this city got wrong. Second, the army sizes for both sides are too small. Since 1946 that ROC began its major offensive to the places under CCPs control, ROC had about 4 millions military force and CCP had only about 1 million. We are not too sure about the exact numbers of how many troopers they had in 1948, but we guess ROC still had about 1-1.5 million and CCP had about 2-3 millionsobviously, the campaign needs increase more divisions/brigades for both sides(we will give it 120/100 if you refer to real divisions names in the history)! Third, we dont think CCP had Rockets from Soviet Union by that time lol. Im not quite sure if this is for game balance. Anyway, it is a good try. We highly recommend you that check Wikipedia or something to have some changes. We know this could be tough and takes time, but we hope your game could let other players from different country to get to know what happened to our motherland during that historical period through this great game! Many thanks.

Absolutely adore these Fire games and Im glad you came up with a new installment, but theres a problem with phones that have notches, you cant click anything at the top without clicking the side of the notch.

This game is amazing we love everything about it we love Pacific Fire, Red Fire and Blitzkrieg Fire they are our favorite ones and we hope they update the graphics so were Pacific Fire has the frontlines graphics also.

Bought this and pacific fire, both are great games. We would love this game more if you added a European front and other parts of the Cold War. Once again, awesome game.

If your into challenge campaigns with lots of variety and historical accuracy this is the game for you, the units are all unique. Every battle has a little action camera to show you the action instead of just seeing numbers pop up, this can keep you on your toes for hours if not days with the amount of replay ability, Highly recommended (:.

We really like this game and think its a great successor to Blitzkrieg fire and pacific fire but we do hope that you make all nations playable in the grand war maps without having to play as the whole faction of UN or Communists soon.

Our son is enjoying the game. This is his review: The game is quite good, so far. However, we have noticed a glitch. Sometimes, at the start of turn notices, it states that a nuclear war has broken out even though no country has used any nuclear weapons. Please fix this in a future update.
