We play this game daily and had no issues with it being P2P or F2P or with past updates, until this weekend. A recent update led to lost progress, time, and resources, plus events ending early. These issues alone are frustrating, but what changed our rating is the support experience. Despite providing screenshots and detailed explanations, all replies were generic, scripted responses with no direct answers or timelines. When players invest real time and money, they deserve meaningful support, not cut and paste messages. The game is enjoyable until something goes wrong, and then youre left without real assistance. Casual players may still enjoy it, but those who expect solid support for their investment should be aware of the risk of being let down.
Since the in game survey link is FULL, ?, Ill write here. Game is fun, however, why is it not iron that is used to upgrade weapons rather than food? Our iron storage is full and has no use anymore now that all buildings are upgraded.
This game used to be great! Was a lot of fun, had a slow and steady flow of new characters coming out, where you didnt feel rushed to keep up, and the new characters rolled out new strategies/metas. Over the last 6 months theyve completely destroyed everything great about this game. Theyre constantly changing old character abilities where everything youve invested in the meta is now complete useless garbage. Were all familiar with new metas and cash grabs but this is absolute CHAOS and so disrespectful to players that spent money. Usually new teams coming out incorporate new metas, NOT THIS GAME, they just randomly switch old characters abilities to whatever they want. Again, used to be fun now its just an embarrassment.

Needs to have an option to select increments of 1 starting at 0. Not just auto selecting max to upgrade to lvl 50.
Game of Thrones is very addictive. Just like the series the game is dead on. Love War and the events. Great job all the way around.
As much as we enjoy this game, how is it that there are only 40 levels on the campaign mode? And ins one battles, you may have substantially more health than the person you are battling and somehow still lose? We mean you can have over 30,000 more health than someone else and you level up your champions daily and you still lose? How does that even happen? Great game, but as far as losing to opponents you know you should not be losing to, it is frustrating! Also there needs to be more levels! Because once you beat the camping mode you just have to plays it all over again on a harder level! We thought Zynga was better than this.
Its a solid game. It loads fast. Plays vertical orientation so easy to engage in all manner of environments Standard match game with game of thrones skin. Bad simplistic voice overs will have you turning volume off fast. Its fine until you hit around level 30. Then its a pay wall. Same generic enemies now hit too hard to proceed. Paywall concept we get.. They cannot make a game customers play for free. Its the amount of paywall thats the issue. We havent spent it and wont but we estimate cost of $200 to buy our characters over the silent barrier we currently face If it were 20 or 30 to buy way over hurdle we could justify it. But not hundreds.
Considering its a gem matching game, which we dislike, it kept our attention for awhile, but continues to get more and more boring. On top of that, every time they make a good change, they tend to make another change that makes it worse than before the good change. The amount of food it costs to refresh pvp opponents is glitchy and has gotten ridiculous. It gets to 10000 food too quickly, and then it sometimes glitches and costs 20000, while other times it doesnt actually refresh and takes 10000. That was what ultimately made us decide to delete the game, out of frustration. But the build up of being boring came from all of the new characters that were mostly just new versions of characters already available in the game. There are so many characters they could introduce during this rebalancing phase theyre in, but they mostly choose to add duplicate characters. Plus, for us, a lot of the new game modes are more of the same, with a slight twist, but still just as boring. If you like GoT and gem matching games, youll probably love it, but dont expect too much in the way of consistently good improvements or additions.
If you love GOT and like to solve puzzles to unwind, this is the game for you. We play it every night and it never gets old.
Game ruined all our hard work, we spent all day yesterday and the day before with support because they wouldnt load our raids section until they did the update and now we just spent one million food resources in raids trying to find an opponent but every person was at least 200,000 stronger than us and sometimes the game wouldnt even load new players and still takes our resources, you guys keep messing up our gaming experience with issues with the raiding section and we were in first place before the update and now Im just struggling to find people to play against. Its like you guys are specifically making it harder for us and ruing all our hard work within the past 4 days.

Great Game! But would be even better if you all extend the regular game play passed Level 40.

We love this game because we dont need to spend a lot of money to have fun. Sure, every once in a while, Ill spend a little bit, but its not more than we would spend on a cup of coffee. Our wife and we both play this game and we love it.
Game is continually getting better, still insanely priced in game currency though and its hard to add a new character to your team due to the amount of required summons.
This is one of the, if not the best mobile game out there!!! We love the fact we dont have to spend money to play and have some success! The only downside is the rotation of the Events. There are so many different scenarios from both shows that could add to the game.

We used to enjoy this game. But, since last series of updates Ive realized that unless we pay we are fighting a lost cause. Between raids and not getting anything worthwhile in summons ( which we used to have no problems with) and our alliance agrees this game has gone downhill! Sad.
You have to spend money if you want to be successful. Even then youre not guaranteed to get the champions of your choice.
This game has us addicted. So whatever way you want to look at that. We find ourselves trying to make progress and looking forward to new things to come. The creators are fantastic about fixing bugs, adding new content and adjusting the game. You have several different options to play and compete. It is strategic, its not just a matching game. We dont follow the story, but if you enjoy that its there too. This is hands down our go to most favorite game we have ever downloaded. Ive been playing since September, our husband and we are huge GOT fans. After he passed away we found this game, and we knew we would have competed and wud had a blast doing so. We have gotten great champions, the creators are helpful and reach out to you to provide support and help with strategy. We are a VIP player, but we wasnt when we started. Its not a game you download and delete. If you want a time buster for the long haul this is your game! You dont have to spend any money and still are able to play, advance and get new champions. Now if you want to spend money you build yourself up faster. Pro tip, find another player in your alliance that has experience and can help you to concentrate on what u need to do to advance in the game. Ive wasted a lot of resources not knowing some of the things we know now.
As a Game of Thrones fan, we really enjoy Game of Thrones Legends. Its a match-3 RPG where you can build teams from your favorite characters and take on enemies across Westeros. The alliance system is one of our favorite features, teaming up with other players to fight dragons adds a fun, cooperative element that keeps us coming back. Its easy to get into but has enough strategy to stay interesting. Definitely a solid pick for fans of the series.
Like others have said, we didnt think much of this game when we first downloaded it; characters we like doing a simple gem game- not much to it. But there is actually strategy involved based on character skillsets and the developers really listen to feedback. They just finished a huge overhaul balancing characters and focusing on team strategies, as well as adding more content and daily activities (for those of us entirely addicted). The micro transactions are varied enough that if you really want to pay-to-win you can, but a mere $10 a month for the main event is not only worth it, it makes you feel like youre giving back to a game that gives you plenty of entertainment and reprieve. Otherwise you dont have to pay anything to play and can get far without spending, but the quality of the game makes it worth it to indulge (and support). As a creative in the industry ourselves, we recognize when a company really cares about what they are developing, and really cares about its players. Zynga and the GoT: Legends team really go above and beyond. (we even talk to our guild members, and we hate doing that in these types of games! How dare they make us make friends.).
The recent updates were not compatible with our iPhone 8. Game will not load. Even deleted and reinstalled. Sitting right next to the router with 5 bars. Shame. We liked the game.
We have almost given up on raids because the rewards are so little for playing for an entire week. Also, there needs to be more options to earn the coveted green tokens.
Nice game, very cool graphics and features but its stupidly expensive. If you are planning on downloading and only spent like $10 bucks here and there this is not for you! Im talking about $200, $300 dollars for important improvements. Your heroes will easily start to need 3.5k diamonds per upgrade and your battles give you 15 to 30 diamonds each time. They do have $5 dollars offers but only to buy 300 crystals. Do the math. Im not even talking about the gold, food and summoning heroes (thats another joke). Seriously, you will get frustrated. Very greedy people administrating this app, go find another game to have fun with.
Games good to play challenges arent bad, but to get any good characters they want you to spend up $300 for some characters?! You can buy Fortnite packs cheaper than that. Lol. Ive been grinding for 6 mnths and its rediculous wat you got to do just to EARN a good gold character. For 5 shards they want you to spend $30 yet you need 20 to complete or 80 shards . Rediculous fr.
This game is evolving. The one thing that holds true is its a gem game. No matter how powerful your team is, you can and will lose to less powerful teams based solely on the gem algorithms.
They just added a very new interesting part to raids it relates to food. We are now up to 10,000 food. To refresh.

Needs to improve champions Defense vs opponents and the striking power of champions in RAIDS play Very Detailed game that we wanna see improve because it has so many game modes that make it fun to play.

This game is simple but engaging. You dont have to worry about getting attacked by other players that are impossible to beat. This is a GIANT plus, to us anyway. The combat system is easy to learn. There are a ton of characters to unlock, different versions too. Theres even dragons! You can play without spending a fortune. The packs offered are affordable and effective. Ive played other Game Of Thrones games and this one is by far our favorite.
If youre a GoT fan and like fast-paced puzzle games, then look no further. This game is super fun and highly addictive! Great graphics and doesnt drain your phone battery like a lot of other games. We only have minor gripes. First, the difficulty ramps up fairly steep once you reach a certain threshold. Almost too steep considering how simple things are at first. Also, some of the character choices are bizarre. Why isnt the Hound a legendary character as opposed to epic? Wheres the Mountain? Tywin Lannister? Rennly? Laras? Lots of strange omissions just as there are strange inclusions. But maybe many more characters are coming.
A few months ago, they changed their system to match up for raids. Now we cant find anyone that we can truly go up against. Its not fun coming to a wall of defeats where you cant find a good opponent. Its like theyve relegated our account to become fodder for the more powerful accounts. Its such a shame. This has truly impacted our enjoyment of the game. They should fix it asap.
This is our favorite game. You dont have to spend money if you dont want to. We just hope the game gets bigger and more characters get added. Its a great game.
We love this game, but Ive spent thousands of $$$ on it with not much in return. Idk if its greed, or what, but good god. Its ridiculous. You can play it for free, but its just not as exciting without paying for it. Im about to have to put it down because its just too much. The idea is great and keeps you wanting more. Lots of room to play different strategy styles. Thats what we love most about it. However, they just did an update on the raids, and something is definitely off/wrong with how you earn trophies now, but im sure they will fix it. This game would make huge strides if they allowed users to trade resources and shards between each other. Im starting to lose our incentive to play.
Okay first off the idea of this game itself is good there could be some improvements. But the rewards are probably the worst Ive seen. Make killing the dragon more exciting because rightnow the rewards dont make sense. Also, something that Ive seen today was a $200 dollar pack. In what world would someone pay that much on a game that just doesnt feel like a full game but a beta. First make your game better and more enjoyable before adding wayyyyyy too expensive packs to the game. Ill give you an idea how yall could make this game a little step toward the right direction. Every weekend have a boss battle (kind of like the dragon but more harder and more/better rewards) where a bunch of people or maybe people in your clan can fight this boss for a certain amount of time. Meaning start Friday and ends Sunday night 11:59.
Not a bad game was starting to get into the fun stuff but Im just so sick of having ads shoved it our face. 4 in a row that we have to manually exit. Its dumb Ill find another fun time waster that has better business practices.
For a mobile game that you expect to be pay to win like all mobile games its really pretty good. Ive been playing since release and run a F2P guild. Only thing we spend money on is the battle pass and if youre playing everyday thats not a big ask and its only $10. All in all even if you spend no money you can easily progress over time and the game is enjoyable. Dont fall into the money sink trap its not needed.
Love it send us or help us get upgrade imma spend some money later.
If u understand the strategy in fighting campaign levels, there is no reason to spend real money to progress in this absolutely masterpiece of a game. One more noteworthy thing is the absolutely gorgeous graphics that makes this game standout above the rest of match 3 games. We just can't say enough about how much we love this game! We are a f2p player and we have no reason spend a dime on this game.
Super solid dev team, love the art, the real sound bytes, the puzzle interface, the animation, and the Debb team keeps adding new levels, new tournaments, new characters, its certainly developing nicely and its good to be a part of it, well done guys.
Love this game. Addictive! But a few bugs we didnt get our last raid rewards when we were ranked #1 which was a bummer. We also dont think Im getting all our Legendary Assault battle rewards which also effects our weekly goals. Its also just annoying when we get notifications that are not our game specific- like Ill know Im out of Assault lives but itll still send us notifications. There was also a small bug that seemed to be only affecting blue color players during battles but u seemed to have fixed that. Great game! Super fun otherwise.
We keep getting the summon tokens but we click summons and its just blank.
Ive been playing this game for about 4 months now and we do enjoy having a mobile game that can keep us entertained for about an hour a day. It is very pay to win if you want to unlock certain champions and get them leveled up. If you do not pay you will essentially have to stick to the same exact team if you want them to be good. Im currently sticking to the we light the way team and we are just praying that they do not nerf these characters like they have in the past with other characters. We will admit it was very nice to see them add another event instead of the same two over and over again. They have also been adding some new content to make getting summon tokens a little bit easier. Also updating the red god altar was much needed and they did an amazing job with that. Please just add more ways to get the green tokens we hate having to save them up for weeks just to be able to summon the characters we want every couple weeks and then end up only getting 3 of them. Even if its just doing some form of quest every day or weekly to get some extra ones. At the bare minimum you should be able to do a 10x summon once a week.
Why is everything so hard to acquire on this game? Level 1 of the new Proving grounds is impossible to beat. Youre dead after 2 moves. Youre mostly on your own figuring out how to level up champions and it takes forever to get gems to summon characters or you have to pay ridiculous amounts of money for items. Ive now come to terms that it will take a year or so of constant play to get and level up champions. New players be warned; patience truly is a virtue with this game.
