This game constantly crashes on our iPad. It gives a timeout error, but we know our Internet is fine because we work from home and everything else is great, but this app just crashes and throws us out of whatever Im doing. Its a bit too frustrating to play so we are removing it from our iPad.
We actually love the game and would even put some money into it, but not until the constant timeouts are fixed. We cant do much of anything without reloading the game every couple of minutes.
Would be a good game but it gives errors between almost every scene and boots you off the server each time and you have to load back in, even with low graphics and on wi-fi. We couldnt even make it through the tutorial and we gave it a LOT of chances.
Fun game but they really need to fix the bug when you upgrade your castle and courtyard ornaments you lose so much posperity for improving.. Replace a blue with a gold and lose 75+k prosperity.. This has been going on for a long time why no fix.
We love this game overall but the timeouts are crazy. They happen almost back to back even with low res setting and while playing on wifi or data, makes no difference. Worst part is that it doesnt save the progress right before the timeout happens.
The game has constant timeouts unless you are stationary (and still times out even then). Even walking breaks the connection, and its unplayable at automobile speeds. The recent version also errors if the game hasnt been used in a while. And while the tutorials are decent, because of the nature of character fragments, its unclear how many fragments it takes to buy a new character from the various event shops. The artwork is good and the gameplay is okay until it slows dramatically about 2 weeks in. We spent several dollars on this game, but Im deleting it after we post this review.
Has potential but timeout issues constantly.
We really want to like this game but, we cant play it! We get two min in and then it starts bugging and kicks us out. Super annoying.
Constantly times us out going into the menu it really ruins our thoughts about this game for us we really disappointed we hope you guys fix this issue soon.
Trying to actually play the game is annoying. At first we thought our internet was down, but all other apps and electronics are working fine. This one is the only one that continuously times out. It also erases data if you switch servers. Ive had to restart multiple times. It seem fun, but we cant even make it past the tutorial because it keeps kicking us off.
We have restarted twice now since when we exit the game and rejoin, all of our progress is gone. Wasted 20 minutes just to restart AGAIN. Deleted immediately.
Its a very good game but the constant timeout is ridiculous. We only play when using home WiFi thats running multiple devices. We can play other games on our device and not having any sort of issues. But when Im on this game we keep getting timeout and kick to main screen about every 15 minutes. We really like the game and still playing it. We will change our star rating once this issue is looked into and fixed.
We tried to promote to viscount it says to have castle lv 1. We get the castle and upgrade to lv2 already. Why its not working.
We wasnt able to give this game much of a chance. Im like 85% all the artwork is AI and 100% sure all voice acting is AI and we just couldnt get past that. Its super uncanny.
This is one of the best games Ive played, however, it always crashes mid battle and its kind of sickening. Please fix.
Its so slow. Every we cut a tree it lags or goes into load. Fix please.
Im going to jump straight to what could be improved: -Adjust screen size for iPad to fit since theres two black lines on the top and bottom of the screen -Clean up the UI. Theres so many menu icons that it clogs up the space! We wish it could be condensed like the daily tasks -The difference between the English voice acting and the text is a bitdistracting. Some game terms were changed after the voice actors recorded their lines (ex: harbor vs pier, cottage vs hut) and we wish the text reflected the voice acting lines. Either that or have the voice actors redo the lines -Auto mode option during character dialogues/scenes -The red dot notification on rankings wont go away and its distracting -Tally is sometimes called Taylor? -Is it just us or does Snows voice just doesnt match their character? Other than that, Im enjoying the gameplay, art, and voice acting so far! We notice that some characters dont have voices yet, so we cant wait to see what they sound like and how the game improves in the future.
We seriously have a pet peeve for games that try to advertise falsely, if the advertising looked like what it actually was we would have rated it higher. The advertisement makes it look like a 3rd person rpg thats a mix of genshin and animal crossing. But in reality its a top down city management rpg. Except you can't move the buildings, we have played this game for a few days now. You don't really get all the free draws advertised upfront unless you buy the starter packs, but a lot of draw keys drop from quests/dailies. The game makes you think you need to buy the characters needed for certain buildings, but you don't, we got almost all the building characters from random pulls. From draw keys we got free from quests and dailies. There is zero social, you cant talk to guild. It kind of feels like an ai made it to get cash grabs. Everything can be set to auto making the game pritty much hit the red dots to collect dailys. Hit the questlog to automatically move to the next upgrade/task, and certain things that are not auto like crafting we simply cannot figure out how to do, our 7 day challenge is all done except craft random equipment. Which it showed us how to do but we cannot manage to do it again. We had thought for a moment there may be some strategy since fire< water<earth<air but its basically a matter of pick an element that you got the best characters for there seems to be no advantage in mixing. The combat is boring its a simple pick 5 characters put on a grid, there are some buff cards but it mostly plays those for you. The character art is very nice, and if you like generic top down city building lead by the nose rpgs that require zero thinking, zero social, zero creativity and looks NOTHING like the advertisement this game is basically.
Let us start by saying we DID spend a bit of money on the game. There is a lack of engaging in-game events that feel like even if you dont spend money, you can earn SOMETHING. Skins have been exclusively p2p as Top Up rewards and its been the same two. Pets are only for ONE character and you basically have to spend money to pull them unless you get super lucky with your 20 pulls a day for the two-three days the pool is open. The game promises a cute farming/cooking/fishing life simulator, it is not. Its a paired down village builder. It got boring without a goal or fresh incentive. A lot of potential, if they feel like it. The art is lovely.
Game isnt portray like the ads show. You see everything from the top of your village overview. We were expecting a much closer immersion of the game where you can walk around town, cook, fish, and interact with people close up. Ive spent years looking for a game that allows players to interact with different chores with updated gameplay and graphics. This is not it. This just reminds us of village rebuilding and you just tap to collect coins and resources to upgrade your town. Theres nowhere where you actually see your character fish or cook up close. Waste of time and money.
Used to play properly but now wont load.
We keep getting kicked from our server after the app crashes. This happened twice in 24 hours, and we even did complete a micro transaction to try to regain our place after the first time it happened. Id love to keep playing but we cant keep spending time progressing for it to be taken away from us out of nowhere like that. Super disappointing, but Id love to keep playing if this can be fixed. Im upset at having to restart again out of fear this is just going to KEEP happening. Sadly makes this unplayable.
We saved our information with our Apple ID but every time it logs us out n we try logging it it keeps telling us to start over never saved us game hrrrss of building.
Game is really fun! Great story and cute characters.
This game has been really fun to play so far. Defeating bosses and the event challenges are fun. What we dont enjoy is whenever it requires typing (such as creating a motto for the guild) it adds every tech boxes and then says we are adding a special character that cannot be sent. This is really annoying and takes away some of the enjoyment, but overall is not the worst. We do like the different challenges and the continued story and world building that continues throughout. The continued goals are fun and apart from the typing issues has been really fun to play.
A typical gotcha but requires a lot of time investment for an idle game. Battles have skip functions, which is helpful, but the journey daily event takes forever since it involves a lot of skipped battles plus manual selections for the puzzle mini-game embedded in it. The storyline is confusing and poorly written, and there is a lot of localization issues (Chinese texts appear at times, the title of the MC changes abruptly, translation is clunky, etc.). As you progress, you open up more settlements where youre doing the same grind, just with different skins on the buildings. We finally got bored and deleted the game as we felt like we were playing because we had to complete endless tasks and not because it was fun.
Ive been playing the game for about 2 months now and this game over the past month has started to crash constantly. We play on a pretty much brand new iPad Pro. Its only 2 years old so this game should not be crashing at all ever. We know why its crashing on us also. Im 100% free to play. The first month we played this game it never crashed on us. Then all of a sudden after about a month this games performance got incredibly bad. It stutters with loading times, loading time got very slow, and it started to crash every time we did a battle or switched between towns, or went to go into the castle. What makes this even worse is every time it crashes and we load back in there are several mandatory adds that we have to cancel every single time we load back into the game. Incredibly annoying. If this does not get fixed soon, like within the next week Im just hoping to delete the game.
The beginning is very fun and easy. They lure you in with free draws because without the characters the game play is dead. Each character works in a building and provides 100x% production so with a character you make 2000 planks every 20 seconds but without you only make 200. See where Im going with this? To get better characters in the game later on you need to spend money or get very lucky. So as you progress in level it gets harder and harder. They were really smart too because you have to spend upgrade stars on each character to level them to a certain point but theres two classes of characters. The ones you cant use to fight are the ones who make the good products so youre wasting your upgrade stars on them just because you have to make products while your battlers fall behind or vice versa. Unless you play once or twice a day youll probably enjoy but if you check more often youll see how its slowly dragging you down.
The marketing and images promise an almost Animal Crossing, farming sim, meets anime fantasy, but when you load thr game, the buildings don't even look the same. The terrain doesn't have any cute animals like you think you can get to possibly care for. The game is just a gacha simcity and out of anything we would report this for being a scam. In many ways it tries to lure players in with the deception and even urges you to buy things in hopes you'll get the experience you were promised if you just pay a liiiittle bit more. As well as $800 to get a skin should count as robbery. If you have spent money on this game, we urge you to report it because this is a scam from how it props itself as. As well id you do like what you get in game despite being lied to, the game does everything to brick wall you and force you to pay money to get a better experience. This should just count as a scam for how much it misleads you and makes you think "Pay us just a bit more and you'll have a really fun time!" As well to add the bugs. It gives different languages to choose from and you can't change the language in dubbing due to there only being two options and when you try to change it it thinking you're tapping out despite tapping the language shown.
Bad and materialistic game to the extreme.
Unfortunately we havent been able to play the game yet because everytime we open it, it stops loading half way through and when we swipe out of the app the music keeps playing (even if we turn our phone off) every single time.
Crashes constantly and isnt very f2p friendly.
We cannot play from gmail on our Iphone. Looks like its bind. This is very weird, cause you have no choice to enjoy your game when you logged in on other platforms (Facebook, etc).
Who knows why but when we changed the language and logged back in our account was gone.
We want to say we enjoy this game but unfortunately the games just a money sink like every other mobile game you come across now. $0.99 for this, $1.99 for that, oh you might want this $19.99 pack as well to keep up with everyone. Unless you pay $ youll play for a few mins every day collecting your daily login stuff, the stuff you produce, and spend it all in 30 secs.
We like this game quite a bit, well enough that we wanted to write a positive review. We wanted to give the game five stars. Unfortunately there are several things that prevent us from doing that, such as not having enough ways to earn promotion stars to advance your characters. All in all its a cute game though.
The game is a lot of fun to play. We would definitely recommend it, if you can get passed these factors. An example of what we are talking about is the character skins, which also give buffs. What becomes absurd is that you basically have to spend 1000$ in a week's time. This is because you get points, which is about 60-66 per 1$ spent. You need about 65000 points to earn the available skin. Tbh see points reset each week. We honestly dont mind spending periodically in a game that we like to support it, but the emphasis on greed emphasized in this is not appealing.
We were con ecred through our apple id and we went to log in and it was gone. We thourally enjoyed the game before that and was sad to find our save gone.
Crazy amount of monetization and pretty much all of it equals in-game power. Voice acting in story ends pretty quickly. Feels like a game from 5-8 years ago.
We think the game is really cute! There was a period that was pretty laggy and it irritated us a lot but then it was fixed and it was all going great until we realize its really p2w! Ive invested about 50 bucks, and we have to say its just a sinkhole to invest more. The game definitely can be free to play if youre patient enough a lot the heroes are managers for a building and if you dont have the hero, you wont get extra slots for the workers to crank out more resources. Getting the heroes was okayish, you have to be lucky or wait for those event when you spin 80 and youll definitely get it the next spin kinda deal.. So youll eventually get it, if you save the diamonds for the 20 limited draws and spend a little money to get the bonus draws before event is over. Now that you finally get the character, you have to think of ways to level the hero because the buildings not only require you to have the heroes, they need to be at a certain level so you can add more workers to it, which is ridiculous! You barely have enough expbooks to level your main squad, now you have to worry about the levels of your back up team that you dont even use? It was then going for a while until you get pyramids and the dragons alter which can fit 4 heroes, dude, now we need to level up even more ppl? (*Possibly? We have given up) THEN they throw in this other town that you have to start get heroes for and start building stuff for.. Great! Its annoying when you need to change towns, we wish there was a button on the town screen that allows you to do that. TLDR; Find a way to level all characters easier, you basically have to level up your whole squad cuz you need them for the buildings. We can almost say EVERY adventurer will need to be leveled soon thats stupid. Some other games has this function where you can add heroes to this alter or something and the heroes will follow the lowest level of your main squad, the alter slots will slowly increase as the game progress or people can buy slots with diamond or whatever. Maybe try something like that. The game is too zoomed in, too many icons, allow us to zoom out a bit more or adjust it. Theres a hand that keeps pointing to where you need to go for ur quest, but sometimes its youre not ready to do the quest like leveling your heroes but youre out of books! It still pops up! Its annoying!!! Add a way to change between towns in town view instead of click in map then the town every time you need to go between the towns Stop focusing on just making us spend money.
Had fun in game building and leveling, spend bunch of money as well, we usually dont have problems supporting game we enjoy but after couple days not logging in we came back to our account erased and only option in game is to start from scratch. What in the world happened?! If server merge happened then where is our account?! Extremely disappointed.
Very p2w and basic, arena/guild/5 character battle formation. Its been done to death with added city building. Most expensive p2w we have seen in mobile. Many rewards not rewarded after claimed, perks are monthly and weekly buy ins and are not rewarded properly. To much bugs or scam we dont know. This game model has been done to death but its wrapped in decent graphics and very busy screen, to do anything is purchase purchase purchase. Its fun, but can buy pc/console games for more fun without constant money funnel.

Coming from a destiny 2 gamer who really enjoys playing games on the phone we would say its not pay 2 win.
Ive only got a few hours in the game but its been enjoyable so far. Hopefully it will be able to keep us hooked.

The storytelling Is good, the graphic is really good, and the fact that when you upgrade the building, you are able to see how the building changing this is really a spot on a lot of game is missing this feature. We really encourage everyone to try it.
When we joined this game we got skeptical because the ads would seem more fake than the finished product. No, they outpassed our expectations! You can summon easily on the beginning on the game like where we are to get legendary characters! Not only that, the summons gives you full shards of the character so you can advance into another star! The building aspect is not complicated and works to our satisfactions. They provide you items to produce more product like currency and building items! The starter characters do seem a little cliche and so does the beginning story but the characters you obtain on your own are more interesting and beautiful which makes us play this game longer! The voice actors arent AI thank god! The voice actors sounds completely on character SOMETIMES. We have a male character that sounds like a girl hopefully that will be fixed. There isnt really a LOT storyline which we enjoy because we rather engage in the game than read most of the game. In conclusion we will give this a 8/10, minus points for clich beginning story and SOME characters sounding completely out of their character. But in the end this is a game that just started so it will update as time pass.
Gacha style village game. So far Im hooked. A bit slow to grow, but sits only been a day. Will update in one month. Worth trying.
