Project sekai took our storage away, so we used this as a sub, omg our storage thanked us meow.
This app is incredible for what it does and the possibilities, there is no other app quite like this on the app store. Custom servers and custom charting is incredible and the fact you could make your own mobile rhythm game using sonolus is amazing. The ads are an unfortunate reality but theres no other way this project would be feasible, so we have no problem with them. Keeping in mind how ads are necessary to sustain the app, we dont think theyre that invasive nor anticonsumer.
We just want the 1.0.1 chart back becuase we can go in servers unlike the 1.0.2.
Ive had sonolus for only around a day, whenever playing a custom chart, im tapping as hard as possible but it says im missing? This never happens in pjsk, it flags you as getting it incorrect when ur not. Ive tried to offset, no help. Youll just get missed and goods, if any of the devs have a fix to this, please update the game.
Fantastic game but not touch sensitive enough. On the intense voice of hatsune miku, we lost our combo because the game didn't register our touch.
Sonolus is a good game for practicing for us. But the accuracy is really bad.
Its good just find the ads annoying after not having them at all during beta version.
The charts and the servers are good, but maybe could there be a way to have bg videos instead of pictures and the ads are everywhere. Not too bad, but the ads sometimes break the top header and break the gameplay (makes everything really squished) after you finish watching the ad.
We feel like they should add tutorials or modes on there! Besides that its a really good game but we just think its would be better if they had tuts/game modes. (dont reply we dont wanna get spammed. Plz and ty!!).
Ive been playing this for months and kept having this same problem. We tapped on it at the right time but it says it as a miss. Fix your game.
- Ads are everywhere and it makes us want to gouge our eyes out. 2. Judgement system is terrible because it gives an early for being slightly over the judgement line. (which caused us to instinctively tap late and always get lates in official pjsk) 3. When we tap obviously late, it gives us a perfect, but when we tap just slightly early by a very tiny bit its counted as a great.
Gameplay is smooth and nicer to play on.
This game is pretty good with practicing and playing pjsk charts that are not in our server but when we pick chart cyanvas it says we need to wait until the next update and only supports the 1.0.0 update :/.
We love the game, though please make Chart Cyanvas available on 1.01.
This is a peak game. We can play ANY SONG LIKE EVER.
We downloaded this thinking itd be exactly like pjsk like Ive seen on videos and its just like in a circle and it rotates.
We CANNOT, play certain servers because of this update. WHEN, WILL, IT , FIX.
Was great at first, but has so many bugs that are very frustrating, great for a quick fix tho.
If youre going to get this game because of videos youve seen on TikTok about custom charts with the pjsk format, or anything like that. Dont do any of the custom songs. Theyre all EXTREMELY overcharted with way too much detail. We would stick to the songs they have on here / normal pjsk songs if you really want to get this.
In beta, Sonolus used to be a great practice tool for many rhythm games, and it was even capable of providing emulation for defunct and abandoned games. However, the official release of Sonolus added intrusive ads after nearly every song, and the price to remove them is prohibitively expensive while also obfuscated by unnecessary currency exchanges. It is preferable to practice other games directly using their limited tools rather than using the tools of Sonolus at the cost of frustration and time wasted on ads.
Just straight ads after getting a fail, very annoying.
We need help with the sound its not working.
This gam is a really good alt for people who dont have storage for pjsk + custom charts are fun to play so yep.
The people that are saying its a hexagonal rhythm game arent wrong, but its actually just the original game made for sonolus. Its actually really easy to add more servers for different games and it takes about 5 minutes. Anyways, we dont know what we would do without this it is so fun.
We love whoever created this game we live that you can play songs that arent in pjsk whoever made this game we LUV you (not in the weird way ).
This game is slowly but surely helping counter our gacha game addiction, and it saves a lot of space on our phone too. We can now play all our favorites without having to worry about spending for pretty cards or using too much space on our phone, and we thank you for that. Too many gacha games at once is very dangerous but this definitely helps solve that issue :D.
Most fun game and funny game of all time.
We love Sonolus because it makes it so we dont need to have project sekai downloaded (which takes up a bunch of space on our phone) but we can still use the rhythm gaming engine from sekai. The only complaint we have is that sometimes when we close the app and leave it open in the background then come back to it, the sfx audio stops playing, but after restarting the app it works. Other than that no complaints really Bless.

Theres so much songs to play to compared to pjsk!! Sometimes the servers are slow but it doesnt happen very often. We really recommend playing Sonolus! BLESS.

This game is great! We love that you can play songs that wouldnt be in project sekai, but every time we play a song, the preview of it keeps playing over and over during the chart. We have no idea why this is happening, but hopefully it gets fixed at some point.
We've been playing sonolus since around the release of beta 7, and when we tell you it's amazing! If you weren't ever able to get a beta spot or thought sonolus could give you a virus we assure you it did not. So if your looking for a rhythm game with infinite possibilities and tons of custom user creation we definitely recommend sonolus in every way shape or form.

This is really good game but its hard to find pjsk charts here.
We recommend this there is charts and stuff and btw a tip, if you wanna play pjsk charts search it up and paste the server, in all we love it lol.
This is our favorite rhythm game platform since it's a beta version love it.
Its so good. We just hate that it has ads.
The only con are the ads but we get it, esp when its been in development for five years so they had to profit one way. Anyways, ive been waiting forever for this to drop, esp after we lost our test flight spot but now that it dropped, its like we can play multiple games on a single engine without having to pay gems if we lost.

Ive heard of sonolus for awhile and when we found out it came to the AppStore, we screamed with glee. This game is THE BEST!!! 10/10 recommend if you like rhythm games.
Once you figure out how to use it and get the charts you want its really peak.
