Our experience with the first WoG changed our relationship with gaming. We saw the brilliant heights that are possible when true artists use this digital medium using free, unrestrained creativity and lodes of digital savvy. WoG was something very special, and experiences like that are almost always disappointing when you try to relive them. Well Im playing WoG 2 now and our delighted giggling was not expected. Yes, we were thrilled to see the new release and bought it immediately, but we didnt dare get our hopes up too high. Im overjoyed to report that this sequel has all the magic of the original. We wont spoil the fun by dissecting the game and all of its joyous content. We will simply suggest that you get this game now, play it on the largest screen you have available, and experience it for yourself. This is as good as gaming gets.
Hello Tomorrow Corporation, The very first game we fell in love with was world of goo. Our dad is a big gamer and before we could play big girl games world of goo was one he let us play. And we were absolutely captivated! The story, the mechanics, the SOUNDTRACK. We cannot count how many times Ive had a therapeutic cry sesh to are you coming home? Love, Mom. Things are different now- as soon as world of goo 2 was released we were the one to tell our dad about it! We bought a Nintendo switch to play world of goo 2 because it was the first available version, and our first gameplays were heaven. Your sequel is a masterpiece. We really like the challenges, chapter 4 obviously, of course the soundtrack & sound fx since we played human resources and 7 billion humans, cutscenes also of course. We were a fool and bought the Nintendo switch lite which has quite a tiny little gaming screen and cannot connect to the tv without doing stuff we are not good at, so we were really hoping some way to play it on a bigger screen without buying a new switch because like for many change is tight for us at the moment. And here it is! We are so thankful. Ill be chasing the challenges till your next release. Thank you. Love, Ava.
Worth playing over and over. We wish there were 1000 levels. So silly and fun. And challenging. You might wake up in the middle of the night with an insight or new plan.
This game is incredible. 1000% dont listen to people saying its too hard (lol). Yeah it takes some thought and strategy. You have to use your brain a little (WOW). Absolutely amazing game and highly polished. Well done devs! Thanks for an awesome game.
Is this really how it is supposed to be sound ? The music goes in and out and pops… We can't find a way to turn it off….we don't like to play games muted so yikes please fix this. We love the first game and will play this once it's fixed or can be disabled. It hurts our ears and makes us sick to our stomach.
World of Goo 2 is the same type of awesome as the its predecessor. However, our only issue is that if we try to switch to play on our IPad(which is preferred because screen size) it does not sync with the save on our iPhone. Please fix so we can play on the go too! Thanks.
Crashes 4 levels in on Soggy Bottom and is unplayable since cant progress.
Played a lot of the original game and enjoying this one. However we like to listen to our own music or audio books while playing and you cannot turn off the sounds music. This is a five star game otherwise.
We couldnt find anywhere to put a bug report for this game, so Im putting it here. If the bug is fixed, we will edit our review. In the level Coolant Circulator Infiltrator, our game crashes whenever the flaming goo blob touches the coolant. This prevents us from completing the level and progressing past it. Im using an iPhone 8 (model MQ6V2LL/A) running iOS 16.7.11.
This Was our Childhood Game we Used To Play On our Tablet. And Now Im Playing This Game On our Phone. Thanks For Making The Second Version Of This Franchise.
Our dad got us the game when we were young for Christmas and we loved it! We were anticipating a sequel for a long time. Thank you for putting it on IOS.
Loved the first game. This time the game is way too hard requiring too much precision especially for the iOS touch controls. The new game mechanics are nice but a few levels in, each level is way too much work.
