Let us preface this by saying that this game does indeed have a lot of optional micro transactions, but you honestly dont need to do them. Ive been playing this game for about 300 hours now. Going on 3 months. While at first this was because we were bored, we ended up really engaged in the game. The game is paced quite well. We have only spent $24 since we started playing this game and we wouldve been completely fine without it. The devs are very communicative in discord and always are paying attention to player feedback. Game has regular updates. The reason you dont really need to spend any money is because the game throws so many resources at you for very little work. We have several heroes completely 5 starred and thats just from us logging in for 30 min to an hour a day and completing things. All the paid epic weapons, purples, upgrade material: its all available to get with very little frustration. The game does slow down a bit, but its nothing like Ive seen from other games. Even as a free to play player you can more than keep up with other players. If you feel like spending money to speed things up, this dev absolutely deserves it. There is so much stuff to do in this game. This is coming from someone thats hates F2P and microtransaction. We didnt spend a penny on this game until we were close to 20,000,000 power. And yes, the ads for this game are ACTUALLY representative of how the game is. None of those ridiculous grand mafia ads. Worth a little bit if your time and maybe youll be addicted like we are.
Pretty cool game a lot like Last War with a twist and also if youre gonna have people spend this much money to play rewards should be a lot greater.

This is definitely not the game in the ad. We only posted a 5 star so that it could be seen but its really a zero star for manipulating customers.
Do not start this game, you will regret it immensely. We started playing and thought Id be done in like a week, 90 days later and probably over $200 in game purchases. We wish we never started, its extremely addicting and average fun. Good game just dont start.
The game is good however, cant get much done because it keeps glitching and crashing out, fix please.
But we would like to request maybe to make characters look like the different skins we purchased. Other than that everything else is good.
Upgraded our hq to lvl 23, installed latest upgrade and now our farmhouses and lumberyards are not giving rewards.
Ive been playing for about 1 year now. Honestly this game is fun but theres definitely room for improvement. The game definitely has a lot of potential. Unfortunately there are ways to cheat and we think the game should fix that issue. If not fixed, we dont recommend spending any money at all but only play for free.
Great graphics, but man does this game eat the battery up so plan on staying close to a charger. You do fight zombies but its not just killing zombies, you build a base and have to upgrade the things in it while playing challenges. Youre going to have to join an alliance as they call it in order to make any real progress as you do challenges and get a piece of everything your alliance members get, plus 27 people can help you by helping reduce the time it takes to upgrade and heal your troops, each help you get reduces upgrade time by two minutes. Each alliance can have up to 100 people in it from all over the world, luckily the game has a translator in it but would be nice if it would automatically translate as you have to click a button for each message to translate. Once you get to lvl 16 it starts getting hard to get resources and it takes a while to upgrade things because the things you need to upgrade cost more resources and time, plan on spending a lot of time trying to figure things out, but if you join a good alliance they can help you, its information overload for a while, only saving grace for us was we were on vacation when starting so we had time.
Yes its free to play, but before you know it your progression comes to nearly a standstill if youre making purchases, then the community leaders demote you to a sister community. If you have money to burn, youll do good.
The app and game play was working very well until it started glitching in the middle of leveling up our hero. We lost almost 120 A hero fragments that disappeared while we were upgrading our hero and nothing happened. Those werent free. Id like them back. We cant even stay logged in long enough to send complete messages to our alliance.
We played Last War for about 1.5 years and deleted it bc it was demanding more time & money to advance as you get further. This looks identical in terms of gameplay, just a different aesthetic.
So far we are really enjoying this game. Its a definite yes for us. Try it yourself.
This game is honestly pretty great.
Confusing at first, but its a good game.
If youre looking for a game that keeps your heart racing, this is it. The wave mechanics are intense, and the weapon upgrades feel incredibly rewarding. We love how the difficulty scalesyou never feel truly safe, which is exactly what a survival game should feel like. The graphics are slick, and the controls are responsive enough to handle even the biggest hordes. 5/5 stars.

That is not the game you'll be getting it is way better. You'll end up forming real bonds with people from all over the world and spend 100s of dollars.
We literally spend 100s and we think you should get higher value gifts spending what we do. Also you need to make it easier to get wrenches and things like fuel.. This game is fun but it really hard to grow if you dont have money to spend.

Love the game, but the text UI for chat is really behind the times. No spell check, cant review what was written, poor translations. Would love to see that improved along with better alliance logs for leaders.

This game is like a farmville but with zombies. Season 2 sucks the life out of you and makes you not want to play anymore.
