This isn’t just a tribute to Mahjong — it’s a tribute to my late father, who introduced me to it in the ’80s. Now, my son Leon helped shape it as the game’s smallest (and loudest) stakeholder.
Three generations. One love for games.
I hope you enjoy playing Leon’s Mahjong as much as I enjoyed building it.
This Puzzle game offers engaging gameplay and regular updates for mobile players.

Community Insight:
Our only criticism is this needs themes for tiles as well. We have changeable wallpaper art but no tile art.
Exactly what we were looking for! Other mahjong solitaire apps are too easy, barely requiring an ounce of forethought; just hunt, peck, hunt, peck, ad nauseam. On top of being terribly cute, Leons Mahjong offers actual puzzles that you can mess up by just mindlessly matching. That it also tells you exactly how many occurrences of a tile type to expect allows extra planning. We are currently recovering from hand surgery with limited options for how to spend our time. This has been a real boon, especially in the morning as we drink our coffee and wait for our meds to kick in. Hats off to the developer! We love the inclusion of an avocado tile :).
This game is a poor choice for seniors or anybody with failing eyesight. The tiles are not unique enough to spot differences, and Im not crazy about the landscape-only game play. Im glad it was only 99, so we dont feel too bad about the purchase. We wish it was a little more like Vita Mahjong.
This is a really, really great matching Mahjong game. It might actually be the best Ive ever played in terms of the overall experience. The tile art is beautiful. The user interface is so well designed. The backgrounds are beautiful. The music tracks sound really nice and dont get annoying. This reminds us a lot of the early Shanghai games for the PC Engine, Sega Master System, and Sega Genesis. A hidden gem for sure.
Im having a lot of fun with this game, and we really only have two grievances: 1. It can be kind of hard to tell which pieces are blocked by other pieces due to a fairly uniform perspective, maybe some darker shadows could improve this, or some accessibility feature to add a slight shade to all blocked pieces. 2. A portrait mode would dramatically improve our user experience, we saw the developer was working on this back in December of last year, we hope theyre still working on it.
A Gem of a game! Love the pixel art, Love the rain sound when playing, Love it is not timed. We would happily pay for more levels like these.
Awesome game, we wish there was harder and more boards to play! Otherwise fun game.
Very simple. Easy to navigate. Only thing missing is portrait mode. Its already a 5 star app in our opinion, but having a portrait mode would be a much much better experience.
If you grew up in the 80s, and enjoyed playing games in TI 994A, Amiga, Atari etc etc, please give this game a try. No ads, you dont have to worry about your personal information being safe. Graphics look familiar (remember connecting your rudimentary pc to a tv?). Call it vintage, call it retro, its pure fun.
Never played Mahjong before but this is really relaxing and enjoyable. Easy to understand. Very chill vibes. Really excited for portrait mode.
This is a fantastic Mahjong Solitaire that reminds us of those solitaire games that game stock with Windows 95. The developer is responsive and continuously working to update and refine the game. Well worth the 99 cents to support.
Love this so much, reminded us a lot of the version on Microsofts Entertainment Pack from way back on Windows 95/98 which we used to play a ton in our childhood. What this needs is a randomized boards mode, darkening tiles that are not useable and a bit tweaking on the shadows of each tile to make them easier to see apart and determine heights and number of tiles on stacks. Getting those things implemented would make it 10/10 for sure. Also love there's no timer, so much more relaxing this way.
We love Mahjong and we love that there are no ads, or IAPs! Thanks for making this :).
This game may have been on the cutting edge of screen resolution in the CGA era 35 years ago, but needs updating to at least VGA.
Our new favorite game on our phone is this delightful homage to classic Mahjong! It feels perfect. Bravo.
