Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

Love this game! Yes, it is $8, and a text only game, but it offers hours of fun play. Clearly, the programmer listens to players and updates appropriately. We would love to see. Few more awards shows sprinkled throughout the year, but other than that, this is a solid game.

We For many months have been searching for a record label game that is actually fun. Everything to us was mediocre but this one was special. It is one of the most in-depth mobile games on the market and has been great. We highly hope you guys make a game where your an artist because this has systems not in any other and we know it would be nothing short of amazing.

Can you make it to were we can sign our artist back.

This is by far the best music simulation game on the App Store! The developer is great and regularly release new updates with large features that keep players coming back! This game is also so detailed and realistic! It is so refreshing to play a game with a dedicated developer and story.

Very realistic and worth the play.

Love this game cant play with it all day and night but the thing that we love have in the game is more and more award shows people add more award show like through out the months and years but please add more awards show.

This game is very in depth from sales, booking, and even customization. All we can hope is that the game is steady added to. Some things we thought of were getting ask to performance at the award show. Maybe an award show for music videos and something like a music video countdown chart.

With so many mobile games that bait and switch, flood you with ads, and/or push in-app purchases for meaningful progression, this game is a breath of fresh air. There is a learning curve with the game, so dont be discouraged if it takes you a few play throughs to get it. We failed multiple times in the beginning, but with a sandbox mode that lets you play the game and not lose, you can experiment to find an approach that works for you with no frustrations. There are a good number of features, and the developer is very responsive to feedback and bug reports. You can keep it simple with a single artist, or expand into a multi-artist dynasty with touring and merchandising. While this has a higher up-front price tag than some mobile games, the replay value and lack of ads/in-app purchases make it reasonably priced and worth the cost. If youre looking for a fun and engaging game that doesnt shove ads or additional purchases down your throat, we hope youll consider this one.

Love this game cant play with it all day and night but the thing that we love have in the game is more and more award shows people add more award show like through out the months and years but please add more awards show.

8 dollars was a steep asking price. But in the end was very much worth it. The game is very deep and rich with content. We have played other label sims before, and this one is truly a step above. In that regard, we think it was money well spent – and time very much wasted. But hey, whats 8 dollars worth anyways? A few hours of entertainment is good enough for us.

We dont usually write reviews, but we have had so much fun playing this game that we had to. Its a fun and addictive music business sim that we highly recommend.

Love the game! Have played it for hours without stopping. Few things Id love to see 1.) more control of subsidiary labels and ability to move artists around and make them more genre specific 2.) ability to have artist do like a Vegas or casino residency in addition to regular touring where they are offered the residency and a pay similar to the function of when they do a promotion for a product but incorporating the aspect that they are gone for the residency for a fixed term. We feel like these additions would be very welcomed.

We know its risky spending money on a game with only a few reviews, but this game is one of the greatest business sim games on the app store. The game is simple, yet very intricate. It may seem like an endless array of options at first but as soon as you get it, it opens up greatly to you. We highly recommend this game to anybody on the fence about it.

Wow. Just wow. This game is carefully constructed and seems like it is really cared about. The discord community has options were you can not only give feedback but also get important information on game updates. 10/10 developer.

This game really is a hidden gem. Has a sort of steep learning curve but when you get your footing its addictive and rewarding! We think it would be cool if you could replace, fire, or hire new band members. Add a new instrument to the groups arsenal, use different instruments on different projects, etc xyz. In all, a great game and worth a shot if you want an immersive simulation game.

This game is really cool but im trying to figure out how to get a refund as our son bought without permission and we need the money.

We absolutely loved the game. We purchased it since we first heard about it. We had pre-ordered it and Ive been playing nonstop on our iPad and our iPhone.we play it all the time the only thing about is we wish that he would do is select all tour button so you dont have to click on each and every date And you can add the price for the tickets like you could tap it and put it in versus having to keep clicking it until you get to the numbers that you want your tickets to sell for because its so tedious it makes you not wanna book tours or Anything because you dont wanna have to go through that process and we wish to shirts and merch will auto restock as well. Three things that we wish he would add to the game to make it easier.

Ive played a number of label/artist simulators, and none of them are as fun as this one. It may take a little adjusting to make your label successful, and we think Ive made every mistake in the last two days; once you figure out the mechanics and how to make each project profitable, its an enjoyable way to pass the time. Cant wait to see what else is in store for this game.

Really fun to play. Managing over 3 artists gets to be really annoying and hard to maintain, it would be really nice if we could have some sort of automation on some artists.

We like simulation games in general so this a 5 stars in our book when it comes to a record label game.

We love your game! Two requests: Can you make it so that your artists can write and produce not just for themselves but also for other artists on your label? Also, can you allow the artists on your label to collaborate with one another? Other than that, it's a phenomenal gamethe best label game we've played. Thank you for your time and efforts.

This Is A Great Game, can you please make a artist version of the game we honestly would just like to play an artist instead of a whole label can you put diss Tracks in that game as well please thank you.

The potential is definitely there, but currently all you can really do is sign an artist and release their music, in our experience it is way too easy to make them a hit, and once theyre a hit you have plenty of money and theres basically no game anymore, additionally we find ourselves never wanting more than one or two artists on our label because managing them becomes a headache, and any time spent not doing PR for our biggest artist is kind of a waste. Some features that would be nice: Automation – It would be nice if you could set your artists to record demos or songs automatically once you reach a certain size. Having 5 artists and managing every stage of their process is tedious, setting their project direction and then letting them record demos until you decide you have enough would be nice. Maybe only once you have your own studio? Producers – You should be able to sign producers instead of hiring the same one every time. Selling/Using demos – it would be nice if we could have a songwriter who could write songs for our other artists, this happens irl all the time and would incentivize you to build an actual label instead of keeping one artist. Concurrent PR – The current pr system makes it annoying to try to support multiple artists because you can only get events for one at a time. PR team should be able to split their effort between multiple, at least when you have 50 people on staff. Tours – you should really be able to see what the expected demand is for an artists tour, its annoying trying to guess how many shows theyll sell. It doesnt need to be perfectly accurate but a ballpark number would be nice. Groups – it would be nice if you could move artists in and out of groups or assemble solo artists into a group. CD Manufacturing – This is unlocked way too late. If we have an artist who just sold 4,000,000 copies of a record we should be able to get a manufacturing deal, its not until we have someone selling 500,000 first week that we unlock the worst manufacturing deal, and at that point we need more weekly capacity than those deals are offering. Distribution – it should be possible to renegotiate these deals.

We this game our only this we should be to organize the song how we want them to be and be able to make a artist after we start the game.

CD Market is a fun and immersive game that transports players to the vibrant and competitive world of the music industry, with a unique 90s twist. Its strategic gameplay offers a refreshing experience, though it may be confusing at first. Fortunately, the games developers have provided helpful guides and updated the game with more informative text, making it easier for players to get started. Overall, we believe CD Market has the potential to make significant progress and stand out as a one-of-a-kind music simulation game compared to the limited options available.
