This is a truly excellent puzzle game. While it starts out very simple, they find many unexpected ways to use their mechanics. Its a very reasonable asking price for the full game. We strongly recommend this for anyone into puzzle games.

Beautiful artstyle and theme as well as cute animations. This game is very well polished. It's easy to get into but the introduction of new mechanics throughout the game keeps things fresh while simultaneously scaling the difficulty. The concept of the game is one we've never seen before and the way it's built upon has shocked us several times. There will be several moments where you will think "Wait, you can do that?" followed by "This is about to get a whole lot more interesting." The difficulty scaling is perfect, as we've progressed, the puzzles actually get harder, not just bigger or more steps. Pretty quickly, you will be trying to actually work out solutions instead of just flying through levels. LOK is everything we look for in a puzzle game. It would be a mistake to not give it a try. It never shows you a single advertisement anywhere. The free version of the game is honestly quite generous and the rest of it is well worth the $7. This game is truly a masterpiece. Stop reading our review and play it already.
We dont usually write reviews but we were so taken away by this game we just had to write this. The music and visuals are amazing, really feels like you are watching a story! The puzzles are very challenging at times but its feels better once you complete them, so sad we finished everything. Wish we could use the word GRIVA! That was introduced in the infinity level but never picked up again which is sad. One of our best mobile purchases, will be interested in more games like this in the future for sure.
We love this game. It is the perfect puzzle game and we have really been enjoying it, but when we went to buy the full version, we wasnt able to. We tap on the upgrade icon and nothing happens. Please help, we really want to play more.
This is the most charming, simple, yet complex puzzle game we have ever played. Try it. We do wish it worked more reliably offline, but the puzzles are so well crafted we can overlook that.
We were enjoying this game immensely and purchased the full version expecting to be able to play it regularly. Instead the full version purchase is tied to an online IP verification so if played offline or with a VPN it reverts and locks all the levels beyond the first couple, even if youve made progress in them. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IF YOU USE A VPN.
Game is fun but rather an outing when you have to figure out the new rules. Vague statement of figure it out. Had to look up a video to figure out one of the new rules and it was not a stepping stone from anything that was discovered or shown to you previously. Just a brick wall. Game is fun when you know the rules.
This game completely knocks it out of the park. Like, Absolutely. 100%. This is the kind of love and polish we think we're lucky to find on PC. It's that good. The puzzles are very fun and get satisfactorily challenging, and the bonus worlds add great dimension after you're finished with the base game. We don't want to spoil anything, but 100%ing the game kept us engaged the whole time, and we'd recommend completing it to anyone else. The art and sound design are so so nice, and all the little details make it a pleasure to play the game. Each world really feels like its own, while being a part of a larger whole, which is really impressive. We love how the LOKs squeak when you tap them, that brings a smile to our face. And we'll probably add a good few of the tracks to a playlist, if not open the app just to listen to them. On top of it all, it has a few much appreciated cherries on top, like dark mode, robust language support, and no weird data collection. Seriously, that last one is such a favor, we can't express how much we appreciate the devs not fishing for data to sell. Really, we have no complaints. This is a perfect little game, and we can't recommend this game enough. We tip our hat to you, Leti Bus, Icedrop Games, and Draknek & Friends. Thank you for making this game.
We very much enjoyed our time with this game. Huge shoutout to Draknek for putting out yet another excellent title in their catalog; but the biggest thanks goes to Bla for creating the original analog version of this game. Overall this is a challenging puzzle game that respects the players intelligence. We found the puzzles to be rewarding in their design, often times once we solved one we would restart and repeat the solution, just to appreciate how smart it was. As we worked through the levels we came to realize how much thought was put into the spelling of the keywords themselves; they make use of only 6 unique letters overall, allowing them to be mixed together in intriguing ways. We especially appreciated how most puzzles could be worked out with logic/reason alone (although there were a couple we had to resort to trial & error on perhaps we didnt try hard enough). SPOILERS The post-game meta puzzles were very engaging for us. We had a lot of fun tracking down the OLKO keywords once we figured out what was happening. Fantastic! We also give credit to the game for giving the player just enough information to work out what needed to be done, without spelling it out to them. We will say however the reward for 100% completion is a mere thanks, which is nice, but it could have been better. We want a custom level maker! Having developed games however we understand how complicated that could be. In pure logic puzzlers like this, solving the puzzle is often the reward itself, which is fine by us. The only negative we have is the placement of the level switch arrows in-game. Im not opposed to their existence, but we hit the left arrow with the intention of undoing a move way too many times. Maybe if the undo was above it, rather than below.
The way our jaw dropped when we saw the toki pona language option.
A phenomenal little game though we wish you could play the full thing without internet, we work in a building with very little cell service and it is unfortunate that we cant play without connection.
This is a phenomenal puzzle game. It has made us think in new ways, has plenty to unlock, and is a satisfying length for the price. (Plus, you can play half of it for free!) Whats cool is that it teaches you the behavior of keywords through the puzzles themselves! Normally, when we get puzzle games from the App Store, we have to look up solutions because the hints just give you the next step of the puzzle. (Sometimes it works, most of the time Im too thick-headed.) LOKs hint system is brilliant. It doesnt spoil the puzzle and still allows for a fun solution. Only once did we have to look a solution, yet often the puzzles had us stumped. We have enjoyed our LOK experience and have 100%ed the game.
Just found this game in our recommended and was initially intrigued by the art style, but we were pleasantly surprised how much we ended up liking playing. We like that it provides you actual hints without actually giving away the answers and still makes you try out different methods. Its the kind of game where you can reset numerous times and not get bored. Unfortunately, since it only allows us to play 3 worlds before hitting a pay wall, we were only able to play this for a couple of hours, but it could easily be a game you play over and over again, simply because you wont remember what order solved the puzzle in the first place.
We upgraded to the paid version but the game doesnt register it because of a glitch.
We spelt the final keyword and saw this epic finale cutscene and was introduced to the birds but we need to pay for the postgame levels if your gonna have a demo have it be 2 worlds not the entire main story we really loved this game but we forgot it was a free version without certain content we watched a guide and managed to get 3 birds and now 80% of the way through a true completionist playthrough now it stops us from going further why must the demo be so long most games gives you 2 worlds Stanley parable gives 15 minutes why do you only lock 20% of the content behind the paid version itd be more genuine if it was dlc at that point though idk if mobile games use that term as far as we know only bloons td6 does but seriously why let us get all the way to level then cut us off.
We didn't buy the full version, but it's a fun game and we enjoy the puzzles.
You honestly dont see many puzzle games this well designed these days. The levels are challenging, well designed, and overall a great experience. Great game and concept.
We don't normally review or pay for mobile games, but LOK Digital was well worth the price. The gameplay, art, and music are all so clean. We also appreciate the daily puzzles and expansion beyond the source material. LOK the book was already a masterpiece, and the digital version elevates that experience to another level.
Its great a little challenge and makes u think puts a solution in ur face just for u to realize its a false flag.Then with the added complex of who knows how many different words there could be and then the board size doesnt matter it could be endless similar to sudoku. We played the trial the game is fun but find it hard to pay for a phone game we would rather watch ads and then have the option to later buy ad free if im really committed to it.

This is one of our favorite games! When you start playing LOK you can't stop! The characters in this game are adorable, you can interact with them and it's so cute!! One thing though is you can discover more characters before the rule for them is introduced so it can a little confusing when you discovers characters meant for the end of the game. Besides that this is the BEST game ever.
There are very few puzzle games that are clever and well thought out and, importantly (to us, at least), rely on logic and thinking ahead rather than on speed and reflexes. This is calming and rewarding and challenging. Kudos to the developers.
Everything keeps getting removed from the free version, why.
LOK digital immediately started to glitch. It isnt playing any music or playing the sound effects! We tried to press the restore button in the settings after we tried to change the sound effects and music and it didnt work! We even reset our whole device but it still glitches. We love this game so much but one of our favorite parts was the soundtrack! Please fix this bug.
At exactly 3-9 in the game there is no way to pass it. There is only 2 ways to turn them all black but there is no solution! The 2 loks after TLAK waiting to be placed in a white boxes is impossible!!! Dont worry, if you download this game youll know what Im talking about. Regardless, impassable. Other than that we had a lot of fun with some mind puzzlers until we reached there.
We have been waiting for this game for months. The physical puzzle book it is based on is one of our all-time favorites and we were hoping the developers would be able to translate it properly in digital formal. The result is impressive, on par with the other Draknek & Friends games. Sound design, graphics, all the little details and of course, the puzzles: everything is perfect.

Ive been a fan and following the development of LOK since learning about the Puzzle Book from Shut Up & Sit Down on Youtube. Needless to say is this is an incredibly addictive, smart, charming game that we plan on playing for years to come. Incredible work from the developers.
Im really enjoying the puzzle mechanics. Low pressure, and the creatures are adorable and motivating.
Nice but the full campaign is 6 bucks.
