Community Insight:

If youre a persona fan this is your game.

Absolutely no issues or very minimal. Just great and fun, once you get the hang of it.

Pulled the new Futaba first try.

Just what we would want out of a mobile persona game. The music is the best part.

Its a live service persona game meaning consistent updates although, its a gacha. Its still very fun and got the soul of persona 5 has an amazing new cast of characters! The story has some flaws. But get better overtime gameplay, it is still the same mostly. Id say Its definitely worth checking out. Even if you dont play full time just do the story whenever it gets updates to hold you over till persona 4 revival or persona 6. Theyre pretty generous with their rewards and events and you can beat it free-to-play.

One of the best Gacha games by far!!! Free-to-play friendly as well. With the updates that came out, this game is even more engaging! As a persona fan it was even more worth it to get into this as something to play for fun. You can build your thieves however you want to fit your play style and there is not a single horrible character. We highly recommend this for the Gacha lovers.

Ill be real: P5X had a rough start. The gacha was confusing, rewards were stingy, and Global felt worse than CN and TW. A lot of people, us included, were frustrated and left bad reviews to get the devs attention. Since then, theyve actually listened. Theyve added more rewards, fixed early problems, and even introduced new systems to balance the faster banners. The 110-pull pity and shard-based 5-star cognitite are great changes that make the game feel fairer. Now? Its fun. The combat is deep, the style is pure Persona, and building characters feels rewarding. The confidant stories are hit or miss, but overall, its worth playing. The first two palaces were weak, but new updates have improved the story, and version 3 looks promising. If you quit early, try it again. The game has grown a lot, and while its not perfect, its finally becoming something special.

The game is amazing and you will have fun but you will be going all the way to 160 pulls for every character. The 50/50 is more like 10/90.

As a persona fan this is a very good addition to the franchise, would hope for the anime adaptation for it.

We played persona since 3 and 4 and P5X! Restored our gamer high.

Only issue we have as a returning player is the drastic difference in what levels you need to be when completing story bosses and enemies maybe have the level difference match the player levels so players can at least beat the boss when unlocking story character awakenings cause brute forcing our way with our level 60 thiefs and level 56 main character was insane and frustrating for awhile luckily we somehow beat the boss after quite a few tries after enhancing gear plus stats since we ran out of energy to level up any further.

We like this game a lot. But for some reason it sometimes crashes. We dont know if its our iPad or the system. We hope this gets fixed.

This game is good in a certain way it has no English voices so its gonna be distracting for people with adhd and such also the outfits that you can buy are way to expensive like 40 bucks just for a makoto outfit when we could just play persona 5 royale with all outfits we are only through the start of the game so story wise idk it seems pretty confusing and nothing like the other personas Mind you we only have played p5r p4 and p3p p3r we give it a 3 star because its def not worth a 5 star yea its free and thats good but its annoying thinking people pay for a 40 dollar outfit that should be like 5 bucks or max 10.

Like if the phrase "reheating your old nachos" was a gacha game of questionable quality with half of its ui stolen from hyv.

We love to get to gamble for our favorite characters and get to see them use super cool attacks. Plus, even if you dont spend money on the game its still fun.

Game's decent quality for a mobile game, gameplay too. The visuals and gameplay are super satisfying and feel rewarding once you get what you've been grinding for. And bout grinding, they often put up events that give plentiful currency for the gachas so you don't have to blast money on the game and get what you want most the time. We'd recommend.

Great game just need to work on pacing for content.

JRPG's are our favorite genre and while neither Persona or Shin Megami Tensei are our favorite genre, Atlus is our favorite studio. This game only furthers that sentiment. Persona 5 and SMTV are both in our top 5-7 favorite JRPG's ever alongside Metaphor: Refantazio. We might honestly prefer The Phantom X to P5 Royal.

It's a amazing game! Plus it's extremely generous with rewards and currency.

Really enjoy the fact that you dont have to pay to play this game and they give enough words to where you dont have to put no money into it if you dont want to.

Finally the devs are improving the global side of things. We been staying winning! Keep it up devs.

There were a lot of issues in the beginning but its starting to get better.

Dont let them reviews affect you we LOVE THIS GAMD SM.

We never played any Persona games before but not play Persona 5: The Phantom X. ITS AMAZING.

We love Persona and being able to play a game with so many different characters is amazing. We love how there are new characters and events monthly.

As someone who has played P5, P5R, P5S, P5T, P3R and P4G Im in love with P5X! It retains everything we love about Persona games while giving it a creative spin that works really well in the gacha grind genre. Love the use of phantom idols and the mysterious narrative that is constantly making us want to know more about what is going to happen next.

2.0 has really saved the game and we can see a bright future if this keeps up. We had a rough start but it seems they locked in just a little. The story and updates have been a nice turn. Right now is definitely the time to play.

Honestly love the game and story but Im bias being a persona fan.

We know a lot of people might call this game a cash grab or whatever, but its good quality, fun, and feels complete. Most other gachas hook you on the gambling, but this games guaranteed reward system is a breath of fresh air for all gacha players. Lets go gambling! WOOOOO.

The game started rough with comparisons to other regions but compared to other gacha games P5X was never bad, and its only gotten better. Expanding on the Persona combat system with more characters, mechanics, and strategies is a lot of fun. It isnt as good story wise as the main persona games but it is enjoyable and reasonably well paced (which most mobile games arent.).

Im totally loving this game and Im excited to see how the story unfolds.

Just go ahead and treat Global better. Its not that hard, and your terrible treatment probably pushes more people away fron you, losing more revenue than youre getting from whales. We like this game, we really do. But this isnt coming from an angry mob or review bomb. Its coming from a betrayed fan. Edit from the future: Looks like someone had a change of heart, good job SEGA. See what happens when you listen to your fanbase and not be greedy.

The action packed game is so fun.

It seems the devs listened to the complaints and improved the game.

We love having unlimited time to roam the city and spend time with social links. Love the attention to detail in the clubs being mini game activities not just a dialogue event. We had wished theyd done that with kareoke in P3R. The increased difficulty and honed combat is a big big plus. We really enjoy all the party members having unique abilities. Changing and nerfing the one more mechanic, and sometimes having multiple down points on enemies also really improves combat. We hope these innovations make it into P6.

New update has improved player friendliness and the game deserves a second look if you decided to either quit post launch or skip playing all together.

Thanks ATLUS and everyone involved, bravo. Im hopeful to carry this journey to the future.

We enjoy this game a lot, insane replay value. 5/5.

Persona 5X perfectly captures the stylish charm and atmosphere of the original game while introducing fresh characters and storylines that feel authentic to the series. The visuals, music, and turn-based combat are top-notch, making it a surprisingly deep and immersive experience for mobile. Its a must-play for both Persona fans and anyone who enjoys stylish RPGs with heart.

Im only about 20 hours in. The writing of the original Persona 5 (and Royal) is better, but we find the gameplay to be just as immersive of a Persona/SMT experience as any other. We also havent had any problems being a F2P player. Just tell yourself theres no need to progress quickly and remember that this is a free gaming experience where Atlus still needs to make money somehow. The fact that this game is free with the amount of quality that can be squeezed out of it without having to drop a penny is amazing.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Honestly this Persona game has been amazing! Storylines have been great in our opinion, our only dislike is the energy to get materials for leveling and awakening, but thats opinion. Other than that games great, storys great, the new original characters, LOVE IT.

Iffy start at first but very generous now.

Even though free to play is worse in the west, its still a very fair experience. We havent spent a cent on the game and we still managed to pull every limited time banner 5 star we wanted by playing. The bosses are a blast to fight every time and the story is overhated just because of the subway slammer. The entire point of that chapter is that even the smallest injustice can lead to extreme distress. Of course the villain has a stupid motive, hes entire character is to be extremely petty and delusional. Im tired of people pretending this game is the next E.T on the Atari because we love it.

The story is in top form now, a bunch of free rewards, and addictive gameplay. Any issues youve had or heard about is likely gone in this latest 2.0 update. 5 stars.

Majority of the bad reviews stemmed from the global release difference between the Asian versions and the global version, but things have been turned around.

They actually fixed the rewards.

Global been trying to play catch up and the devs been fixing that while giving out gems which helps a lot with the team building.

This game is 1 of 1! We quit all our other gachas because of it. This game is the standard.

Changed our review from 1 star, the game is extremely better now than it was before.
