We already completed this game once and deleted it so we could play again. If you love detective item finder games we highly recommend this game, The only thing we didnt like was the ending but pleaaseee make sequel to continue the story.
We have enjoyed the game very much. However in episode 4 in the bedroom the moving eye got stuck behind the dark back button and we cant move it. Trying to do so half of our screen went black! Can this be rectified? If not we would request a refund. Thanks.
Intriguing storyline. Nicely done artwork. The 1st episode was the best. Having said that, the other 3 werent that far out and lost to insipidity. Puzzles werent too difficult but they blended in nicely with the story. Also, we didnt have to contend with a tedious, long line of painful things to find nor did we sit around, waiting on energy levels, and all that silliness. The story holds up beautifully through all 4 episodes. And thats the bit that really makes a difference in these sort of point-and-click games, in addition to the work that goes into art, voiceovers etc. We wont comment on whether all 4 episodes put together were worth the 10 bucks. Matter of perspective.
Great game, intriguing, on par with bestsellers from Artifex. Didnt have that pleasure to play quite for a long time.
We got it on sale, but even if we had paid the full price it would have been worth it. You get 4 episodes which are close to being full games all on there own. It was more story driven than most HOAG which was refreshing and as the episodes progressed they added more traditional HOS with shapes and the list of items to look for. We think they should keep the Adam Wolfe stories going and to keep making them better, like hopefully adding extra items to search for throughout the game as well as morphing items to find and more HOS. The graphics were nice and crisp, a map for fast travel between locations, hint and skip buttons, along with a comprehensive user guide and your choice of difficulty. We highly recommend this game and hope Mad Head Games (our current favorite game developer) puts out more Adam Wolfe games and other games like it. Yep don't waste another minute, just buy this game.
So some people are complaining the price is too high for this app, but we don't think less than $10 is bad at all for a very beautiful, high quality story game like this. This is definitely one of big fishes better looking and more complex games. There is a lot more variation in gameplay — HOP, puzzles, fight scenes, car chases, etc. The score and voice acting adds a layer of depth that most HOP don't have, and we appreciated that a lot. Each chapter is not too long but we think the price was ok for several hours of fun gameplay with substance, instead of a longer game without much heart. We'd definitely play a sequel if Mad Head ever makes one.
We waited for almost 4 hours to downloaded but game is great.
Didn't take 4 hrs to download like one reviewer said. It's just okay. Not at all worth the hefty cost. Very few interesting parts. Terrible voice acting. Just too dull to continue so DELETE.
