We had gotten this game a while ago, played it briefly and gave up. It seemed like we had to purchase clues too often and we were frustrated. It must have been us at that time. We retried it again recently, and the gripes we had werent accurate. We were frustrated because there wasnt a map, but each chapter only has three scenes to work through, you dont need a map. We thought we couldnt find clues, but they were all there, and we could find them now. There are video walkthroughs online if you need help, but they werent really necessaryI did use one for one puzzle because we use HOGs to fall asleep and we didnt want to wake up too much to solve the puzzle, but we could have slogged through it if we were willing to wake up. We would have liked more character development in the story, but the puzzles were reasonable and challenging. We will be purchasing more from Haiku, and we are sorry we didnt give it a more patient start at the beginning. Once you get in the groove of how the game functions, it becomes really engrossing and enjoyable. This is a good game. Would recommend.

This is an amazing and challenging game.
We play all of these escape games, and many of the clues and puzzles in this game are unique. The clues arent hard to find, but they can be a challenge to interpret. We like that much better than an easy clue that is just hard to find.
We love games that make us use our brain, especially ones that are free and dont require us to spend money to continue playing or to finish the game. This is our second game from this company, and Im very pleasantly impressed.

This one may not be our fav theming, but Ive been playing through the haiku games the last few months and Im sorry Im nearly coming to an end. Hard enough to take some time solving, but not to hard. Almost no ads, absolutely no purchases are required. We only wish they were longer but at least theres a bunch of them. Recommend you start with asylum if you arent creeped out by the theme, we loved time librarys theme, but havent disliked one yet. They never seem to run out of puzzle ideas. Great games deserving of 5 stars.

First and foremost if youve come across this game, youre obviously looking for something similar to its title. Carnival mystery puzzles well we can honestly say youve found the right game!! Not only is this game free, but its very well put together!! Its challenging enough, but not too difficult. The Audio and Visuals are perfect and set the tone perfectly! 5 stars from us.
Haiku games are the best and this one is our favorite by far! Excellent back stories and graphics, along with engaging, unique puzzles.
We cant get enough of their games its so great they needs part 2 of this game but with a dark past twist to it to make the characters alive.

We love all of these games. Haiku is great and Ive played quite a few of them. We very rarely get stuck to the point of needing to skip a puzzle so we never have to buy stars or anything. Ill continue until they quit making them.
